So uh, I kind of accidentally got picked up by this guy while I was at The Strand... He was real sweet and whatnot and helped me look around for Christmas gifts. I did catch him staring once and I did get the feeling he was following me. But I didn't expect to spend 3 hours in the bookstore with him. x.x
Buuuuut, I think he might be interested in me, and I'm beyond off limits. How do I tell him kindly? He's a cool guy and I wouldn't mind being friends with him. He teaches Italian at a CUNY, well read, etc.
I tried being non-responsive when he first approached me, but that didn't work. And it was nice to have someone to browse with. Maybe it wasn't so good to give him my number. But I didn't want to be mean! I also didn't want to offend him by assuming he was interested. I think I led him on. D'oh.
BTW- Apparently wearing something resembling a wedding ring doesn't always work. D:

So in response to his text to me ("lovely shopping", blah blah blah, "# will call me, Paul. Ciao ciao." (he teaches Italian)... "You were a huge help though, so thanks for that. And I do hate when people call me Pheebs. Anyway I had a good time too, but I feel you should know that I am in a relationship. That wasn't meant to sound presumptuous! I think we could be friends, who knows? Sorry for the novel text, hahaha."
How does that sound?
Ugh. How did I get myself this far? XD

Best to be blunt, I think. He'll get over it!
I find subtle ways to bring my boyfriend up in conversation. Since gamer guys usually take an interest in me, it's easy to say, "Once I hit my boyfriend while playing Wii Baseball..." If I'm being too presumptuous, it simply ends up being a funny story. If I'm onto something, it locks them into the friends-only zone without making a scene. [Works for me anyway. xD]

Hahaha. I'm amazed that it's actually Cary Brothers on that account and not just Gaia faking it again. And he's a smart-a**, too. xd
Falmer: Your music sucks balls! Cary: Oh, so that was the funny taste in my mouth.

I hate texting sometimes. I had to send everything after "should" a second time because I don't know if it went through the first time. I feel like I just made an a*****e out of myself. ]:

There's some dumbass in there flaming him for not liking Josh Groban much, and saying the bands that influenced him never had number 1's, but became legends. He's new! How dare you judge whether he'll become a legend or not! Look at Guns 'N' Roses! Nobody even knew about them!!! What the ******** are you smoking, man? Everybody knew and KNOWS GNR.

I haven't had a guy interested in me though since I've been with this boy, so it's okay! XD; I just know that's how I'd break it to him if it were to happen. I'd probably just say something like "oh, my boyfriend and I saw [movie] last week" or "oh, I love that restaurant, my boyfriend and I go there all the time" or something cheesy. <<;

I was just caught really off guard. It's been a while since someone relatively my age tried to pick me up. They usually back off when they're realize I'm only 17 or whatever. And I don't remember it happening while I had a bf either. XP
But I'm glad I've still got my charms.
Alas, no reply. I guess friendship is a no-go? XD

Damn it. I wish I could just straight out ask him to come visit. Instead, she's like "don't push with him, he's stubborn, blah blah blah" and I worry that he'll just say no if I ask him again, even though he told me to keep asking him. x.x I just want to see my boy, damn it.

"I'm kind of surprised that your boyfriend isn't trying to kill anyone to to keep competition away."? He wanted all the juicy details of my encounter, actually. He's such a girl. XD Nah, he knows he doesn't really have any competition. And if he ever did, well, I'd remind him otherwise. >.>

Meh. All of my closest friends are guys.
I would LOVE more female friends, but the girls I know just don't click with me or like the same things. Isn't it sad? Seems like the only way I can get someone to be my friend is through sexual tension. :/
They keep telling me, "If you meet another gamer-musician girl, introduce me to her!" Psh, if I find that girl, I'm keeping her for myself. xD

******** Bunny Must Die. Not as hard as I Want To Be The Guy, but frustrating all the same.
Probably the fact that all of the hints are in Japanese doesn't help.
