Kerrigan turned to say something to Eden when she noticed the knights behind her, guns not aiming, but not on safety either. Quickly, she turned to Janine, walking over to the woman and looking her straight in the eye with no traces of fear.
"Tell your men to stand down. What the hell is going on here," she asked, though her voice was calm enough so as to not try and make the other, more trigger-happy hunters panic.

Janine smiled. "Don't worry, they wouldn't fire. Not unless there was a direct threat to me or them. They just noticed the elevating stress patterns and increasingly louder voices and went on guard. They are trained for such occasions and besides" she said with a flat, low voice, showing her elongated canines. "Some of us aren't exactly human either."

Tokeru was laughing inwardly at the entire affair, barely able to contain himself. Such chaos, such insability within the hunters, and they wondered why the vatican was here. He lowered the barrier on the door and pulled Edith to sit down once more, and lowered the barrier around Loki.
Such fun, such excitment. It's soo, like a family reunion.

{[{ Meredith Emily Jackson }]} Eden could hear with her thoughts well enough what Loki's intentions were, however, he didn't know that she was a telepath so she didn't expect him to know that she could hear what he'd thought. She mentally frowned when she heard his reasoning for being nice to her though he had been polite to her before she'd told him who she was exactly. She hated people being nice to her because of her brother's reputation but for now she was going to have to use his position and her relation to him to her own advantage in his absence. As for Kerrigan addressing that the knights had flicked their safety off, she mentally slapped her hand to her forehead in exasperation. The last thing they needed to do was alert on-edge hunters to the guns that were off the safety and were almost being pointed at them. She then stared at Janine, somewhat in shock. Never had she expected the Vatican of all places to have a vampire in their midst, let alone allow her to be a Lieutenant. Then again things were less strict in these times. She mumbled in slight exasperation, momentarily ignoring Tokeru, "Well now that the cat's outta the bag ... How about we get you an office like Kerrigan suggested? Any other accommodations you're going to need while you're staying here in Haven?"

Kerrigan turned away from the woman, having to refrain from slapping across the face. Thank God Eden came to the rescue, suggesting what Kerri had already tried twice now to get the meeting to end. There was no doubt in her mind now: she would have to have a talk with the younger hunters when the time was right. First, however, she needed more information, so now she was ready to do whatever needed to be done to get this little gathering dispersed.

Janine smiled at the young vampiress. "I need nothing, I'll take a bunkbed in the barracks, as will the rest of my men. We need no special treatment. However, I would like to speak to Tokeru, and I assume the one you've been kissing all this time is your girlfriend, so her as well. And you that is trying to be the leader as well. The rest should be expected to have a good night's sleep, and return here in the morning."

{[{ Meredith Emily Jackson }]} "You might have to boot a few," Edith explained rather swiftly but with patience and a calm countenance, "of haven's guards outta there. After all, you have ninety-six people? You splitting up their shifts so that there aren't overflowing bunkers? We only have about twenty or so, if I'm not mistaken." She then listened to the rest of what Janine had to say and wasn't very thrilled to hear her calling her Tokeru's girlfriend. "I'm his fiance," she replied in a superficially polite tone while being a smart-a** at the same time, "and my name is Eden Jackson as I'm sure you heard me telling Loki. That's Kerrigan, I'm sure you've heard her name more than once throughout this meeting. Please address us by name, we're having a hard enough time getting the hunters to behave and be polite so I think it'd be nice to be addressing one another on a name-to-name basis, Lieutenant Janine. Oh, and guys, meeting finished. You're free to leave. Make sure if you go out, you bring someone with you and don't interfere with the Vatican trooops."

Kerrigan was about to go off and get her own agenda accomplished when she heard her name, or whatever the woman had called her to insinuate her name. Reluctantly, she turned around, giving a nod to show that she understood to stick around.

Janine gave an apologetic shrug. "I have a bad memory when it comes to names. I tend not to be able to remember them unless I've read and studied them. Tokeru was in the file of the leaders of the hunters, you two were not. So I can only remember his name. I will make an effort to remember yours however."

{[{ Meredith Emily Jackson }]} Eden merely smiled and took what Janine said in complete stride. If the woman had a photographic memory and not a verbal one then she could understand that. After throwing her fit she was going to have to earn back some points if she was supposed to get on God's side and have them put in a good word for her despite being a vampire. Seeing Janine, though, as a lieutenant of the Knights of Seraphim did give her hope that one day she would be lead to salvation by God despite her abominating state. "Ah, a photographic memory, I see. Well if you're that bad with names then I suppose we could wear name tags but I feel retarded in those so I'd prefer if you just remembered my name by my impression. I'm sure a few of us have had one on you, though most of them haven't been very good first impressions I do have to admit. Sorry for all the chaos. With two leaders gone it's kind of hectic." She paused for a moment and then continued on, wanting to get back on topic by asking whatever Janine wanted since she was also eager to get back to locating Sethe, "So what exactly are you singling us out for anyhow?"

Anna stood as Ghost did, having remained silent throughout the entire ordeal. She had to admire Kerrigan for trying to step up and take charge, even if it didn't work. When the lieutenant said that the meeting was adjourned, she followed Ghost, not really having anyone else to talk to.

"I was wondering the same thing," Kerrigan chimed in, moving so she was standing next to Edith. Every ounce of her was ready to stop talking and start finding out what had happened to her love. She needed to talk to Uncle, she needed to get some rest, and she needed to talk to some of the younger hunters so an episode like what had just occurred did not happen again. Still, first things first, and she needed to stay on these people's good side.
(( sorry about that guys...didn't know it was my turn ))
