Damion found his way to the back of the store to the shoe section. He made a quick look around and then huddled over a particular pair. Making sure noone could see what he was holding he moved quickly yet cautiously towards the checkout counter. Everything else was unnecesary as long as he had these. There was rare glint to his eyes. It was almost as if, no could it possibly be? It was! Hope was reflected in Damion's spheres. He quickly bought the boots regardless of their outrageous price and made his way all the way back across the store again to get to a changing room. Could he change out in the open? Of course but then everyone would notice. He quickly changed shoes and walked back out a new man: one with 2 inch souls on the bottom of his feet. To the regular average hight person this was not all that impressive but for someone who constantlly suffered from a little man outlook on life these boots were the tool to which Damion would be made equal to the rest of mankind! In a sence. There was still his style, possy, mutation, and outlook on life to be frowned upon but those things didnt realy matter anyway. So long as you had height.

"So, Kitty," said Victoria, cutting straight to the point as soon as Kitty closed the door behind them. "Today's the first day of Summer Vacation and we wanna start it off with something fun. Really fun. More fun then the circus fun. Any chance you've got a lead on a party we could crash?"

Having returned to a cross legged position on her bed, Kitty's eye glazed over and widened happily as Victoria flew, unchecked through her request. The blue eyed brunette shifted her weight a bit before answering.

"Um, like, sorry guys," said Kitty sadly, while still managing to maintain her sing-songy pitch. "But I, like, don't have any leads for the party scene yet. I mean, like, if we were stilling goin' to school today, I would, like, totally have some stuff lined up. Maybe you guys should like, do it the hard way and, I dunno, just cruise through town. Something exciting, is like, bound to pop up..."

Though Victoria visibly groaned in disappointment at Kitty's initial 'sorry, I got nothing' headline, the secondary option of the cruising the town did not sound so bad. In all honesty, Victoria had not seen much of this town since her arrival and would not mind exploring it with a few friends.

"That sound like an idea," she said, thinking about it a bit more before turning back to Rouge and Tabitha. "You two up for it?" she asked, hopefully.

Mori nodded alittle when Conner asked and got her feet down and turned back to her music, it was a nervous trip since she didnt really know what to expect from it...

Tobias shoved his way between a couple walking the other way and ducked into an alley. He'd get to the circus in due time; now, though, he was going to have some more fun and hopefully keep the cops' attention away from what he was really planning. He found his way to the back of a small convenience store and grinned to himself when he spotted the large cardboard-filled dumpster next to the back door.

He braced himself against it and grunted in effort as he strained to shove the heavy metal container across the door, making his muscles stand out like ropes. After a quick breather, Tobias picked up one of the collapsed boxes in the dumpster and set it ablaze in a moment before dropping it back into the trash and making his escape down the back alleys. It'd be a fairly large blaze before very long at all: a minor prelude to the big show.

Victoria's smile widened as Tabitha seemed to agree with her and Kitty's consolation plan of simply cruising Bayville until something interesting and/or exciting caught their eye. Besides the in-town circus, of course. Rouge and Victoria had already made up their minds against that.

"Great," she said, nodding happily, "Cruising through Bayville it is. And...unless there are any objections, we should head out soon. Or better yet," she took note of the time on Kitty's neon pink alarm clock. "We should head out now and try to beat the noon rush."

Edging toward the door, Victoria waved a quick, appreciative 'Thank You' back in Kitty's direction and motioned for Tabitha and Rouge to follow suit.

Conner checked the van over once more to get a vague idea what all the buttons did before poping the clutch and dropping the van into first gear.

"...And we are off." he said more to himself than anyone else. He followed the drive around to the front of the house, past the fountain and on toward the gate. It came into view and Conner hit the button he hoped was the gate remote. he was rewarded with the gate slowly shifting out of his way.
He slowed down as he passed the gate and turned towards town, once onto the blacktop though he finally gave into the temptation and pushed the accelerator to the floor, he'd wanted to do it ever since he had started the engine and listened to it tick over, now it roared.

"This is more my style" Mori smiled widely as Conner stepped down on the gas and looked outside to see the world fly by at rapid speed, she turned to Kevin and Conner and smiled widdely. She loved high speed, that was why she loved motorcycles they gave her a sort of freedom but sitting in a car wasnt all bad either....

Sarah was about to knock again thinking that perhaps the porfesser was just very busy and hadn't heard her the first two times when she heard a voice from the other side of the door call out..

"Please come in Miss Bernadette. The professer had been getting Sarahs papers in order as she had been approaching the school.

She opened the door, poked her head in and as she saw him wave her to a seat she entered closing the door behind her. "Thank you sir." She said politly. Her father had made a point to stress to her to be polite to Professer Xavier.

"Not a problem, I've been expecting you." He said looking up from his papers and motioning her to a seat. "Please sit down and relax." He said. "You have some paperwork for me?" He asked wanting to get the busniss part of this visit over with. He had a few other things to take care of this afternoon.

The papers. Panic flared breifly as she searched herself for the papers she had set on the edge of his desk just seconds before. A little abashed she retreived them and handed them over to him.

Xavier made a pretense of looking them over all ready having all the information he'd needed to get her enrolled on his system. "Everything is in order." He said watching her visibly relax. "Most of our students here go to the local school. Bayville High." He began. "A few choose to study here. Either is quite okay with me, I just ask that if you decide to study at the local school you please try and keep a tight grip on your abilities." Since his newest student seemed to have a small problem with that he figured that he's make mention of it.

"Yes sir, I'll do my best...sometimes...." She said rubbing the back of her neck. "I get a little over enthusiastic...." Which waas a mild understatement.

"No need to worry about it." He assured her. "Now." He went on to give her a short lecture on a few of the rules they had here at the institute and then directions to the ladies dorms and the kitchen. "Since school is currently out why don't you go and get yourself settled in. There are a few people still here so please go make friends. That's why you're here after all."

Sarah smilled and got up. "Yes sir. Thank you sir." She siad politly shaking his hand. She felt much better having gotten that out of her way. She retreived her bags and hurried to the dorms. She quickly found her room and started packing her stuff away.
