So the trio walked through the brick city north from the pokecenter. The school was only a few blocks away. It didn’t take it long to come into view the school was two stories tall with a large yard surrounding it. Tailor walked up.
“And this is where I learn all the secrets of pokemon.” He beamed.
“Impressive little, Brah,” Crush nodded as he looked about.+++++++++++++++++
For the pokemon who never slept, the shinx’s boundless energy was a welcomed treat. The small owl pokemon fluttered from the ground and bounced on the electric pokemon’s head. Then flew a short distance away. “Ho-hoo”
Venerax did take a step back. In fact, three as the massive onix came out. “Well that was unexpected.”
“Maybe I should get Cal from the lab,” Venerax said thoughtfully. “So he get some none life threatening fresh air.”

By the time Mia called their training to an end Rhyme had nearly mastered the art of dodging multiple attacks with her own Quick Attack. Just like her father she picked up techniques rather quickly. Jello, too, had practice aiming her Vine Whip attack, being able to accurately lash her blue-green vines with even more ease. After the good work out, Mia retired to the Jubilife Pokemon Center for a quick rest and to heal her team before heading back out east. They were definitely going to beat Roark!
Mia's trek to Oreburgh soon led her to a cave. She poked her head inside before moving forward. It seemed to be all right, the sun outside providing just enough light to see where she was going. However, the sun was indeed falling fast and she'd have to hurry if she wanted to make it out of the cave before sunset. This calls for one thing! The ever level-headed Scuttles! Mia let loose his Pokeball, sending the Skorupi onto the rough cave floor. "Kay. Now help me get outta this cave Scuttles!" Mia instructed, posing with one finger pointing the wrong way.
The Scorupi shuffled and scurried about the cave floor, avoiding rocks and the like by weaving back and forth. Mia, who could have easily kept a straight path since she was much larger than the Pokemon beneath her, of course didn’t. She zigzagged back and forth, follow Scuttles’ steps exactly. And soon the duo were out of the cave, just in time to see the sun set below the horizon. “Bed time!” she shouted before racing off to the Pokemon Center ahead of her.

Blaine listened closely to Sabrina's explanation, wondering just when the usually quiet Sabrina became so...wordy. So Mike and Nina had a bit of a scuffle; he would have to review that on the video camera later. The two of them didn't seem too hurt, aside from Mike's now normal (from what Blaine could tell) beaten look. He furrowed his brow when Sabrina mentioned Mike's plot to combat Team Magma. If Mike is gathering all these people together, he must be planning on going through with this attack very soon. Dammit boy! You aren't nearly ready for something of this magnitude! The Gym Leader waited patiently until Sabrina finished her story and sent out her Alakazam to go fetch even more children. "This is getting ridiculous." Blaine scoffed. He would worry about fixing up his lab later. Right now he had to give Mike back his Pokemon and a few other things he cobbled together. "Thank you Sabrina. I'm going to need your help controlling all these kids in case things get out of hand. I'm too old to be babysitting." Blaine walked out, passing Keegan as he no doubt was going to check on the girls who were brought in by Mike's Pokemon. "Excuse me son." he said as he walked through the now warped door. He sighed. In one day this boy had managed to cause more damage than Blaine's entire career as a Gym Leader, and that was a very, very long time.
------
Mike joined Keegan in a laugh as he commented on Mike's lack of normalcy. "If you only knew." he said to himself, maintaining a low chuckle. He smiled when his old friend ruffled his hair. "Yeah, me too. I think. I'm pretty sure. Yeah." At that point Keegan left to go check up on Kasiya and Mitsu. "I'm sure they're fine." Mike said over his shoulder. "PB's in there, but double check for me." Mike looked over to Sasha, whose eyes darted back and forth between the two boys. "What's wrong?" Mike asked.
Sasha jumped slightly at the question. "What do you mean what's wrong?" she replied, somewhat annoyed. "You just tell me about how you died, and z'hen you and Keegan come within two feet of each other."
"What's the problem with that?" Mike inquired.
Sasha paused. How could he not put two and two together? Did he not remember their little scuffle at the party? The girl shuddered when she recalled the event. Mike had berated Keegan into attacking him, and Keegan took a swing. Mike, battered and bloody, pulling the exhausted and beaten Keegan close, staring deeply into his friend's eyes, which at that point, were wide with fear. He was rambling and raving incoherently. Mike had him at his mercy, and the situation could have escalated into something much worse if the others hadn't interjected. "You don't...remember?"
"Remember what?" Mike frowned. What was she talking about? The last thing he wanted was more confusion. Which was TOO BAD FOR HIM because JUST THEN who should TELEPORT IN but Kilik and Oracle! The light from the Alakazam's warp caused Mike to flop on the ground, mostly because he was too tired to just cover his eyes. "Bleeech." he groaned. Sasha squeaked out a French cuss word but for the most part remained more composed than Mike did, not like that was a feat or anything.
Mike rolled around on the floor, making sure to grab Camerae, who he just remembered was still on the ground within his shell. When Kilik expressed his rightful confusion, Mike replied simply. "We're gonna BREAK s**t!" he said with a laugh, holding Camerae over his head. He figured that would suffice as an explanation.
Which is right when Blaine walked in. His frown only intensified at Mike's proclamation of 'breaking s**t'. "Mike." he said sternly, approaching the boy. "I have some things to give you."
Mike looked up, which was actually down since he was laying on his back. Blaine was holding a very familiar Pokeball. "Oh right! Proton!" Mike rolled over and sprang to his feet, disregarding Kilik's further questions. "Did he evolve? Did he!?" Mike jumped up and down expectantly, grabbing at the Pokeball in Blaine's hand.
"Calm down." Blaine said, holding the ball out of the boy's reach. Mike protested and flailed, but eventually stopped, and grumpily held out a hand. To his surprise, not only did Blaine relinquish Proton's Pokeball, but two other items. One was an old Pokedex, but the other, it looked like a tiny furnace.
"While I was out I came across an old Pokedex of mine while I was rummaging through my things. It's a bit beat up, but I upgraded it when I was at Rowan's so it should be just as good as new."
"Thanks!" Mike said with a smile. It then dawned on him that Mike had never actually acquired a Pokedex. He had run out of Birch's laboratory too quickly after attaining his license, completely forgetting about the device, but...how did Blaine know? "And what's this?" Mike asked, holding up the other item.
"That's a Magmarizer." replied Blaine, looking behind himself to see Ronald walking out of the lab. He was most likely done with the paperwork.
"Oh, that thing that make Magmar evolve?" Mike recalled the conversation he had with Blaine before he left, about this newly discovered device that react with Magmar specifically. "Cool!" With so many new things to be excited about, Mike could hardly contain himself. What would he inspect first? Proton's new form? The Magmarizer? His 'new' Pokedex?
The boy decided on checking out Proton's new evolution, and released the Magnezone. Mike let out a cry of joy at his Pokemon's fully evolved form and jumped on top of it, wrapping his arms around the floating Pokemon.

Sam pulled the Ice Beam TM out of her pack. She also retrieved Star's Pokeball. She released the Marshtomp. "First I better teach her this before she breaks out and kills me." Star came out, her teeth bared and her eyes glowing red with anger. Sam held up the TM in defense. "Hey, look what I got! For you! And it's better then Maelogan's because this was one was handpicked, not just something I had lying around." Sam narrowed her eyes at the light blue disk, then put her nose in the air. Sam approached slowly, before placing the disk on Star's forehead. It glowed brightly, and Star growled. Sam quickly stepped away as soon as the disk faded and broke in two. She put the pieces back in her pack. Star was now smiling haughtily at her, obviously feeling very full of herself. Sam, surpressing a laugh, recalled her Pokemon, who protested slightly at being recalled so soon. She then turned to Miharu. "I think...I'd like to go to Bugsy's Gym, in Azalea. Both Ice Beam and Rock Tomb will be helpful there, and the typing is better. So...let's go?" she asked, a bit unsure of herself.

It hadn't yet occurred to Kasiya that she'd started going the wrong way, at least until she heard the sounds of someone coming down the hall. She turned around and followed the sound, relieved to see that it was Keegan. She hadn't heard any screaming or fighting coming from down the hall so she was glad to see that Keegan hadn't started anything. He was knocking on the door to the room that she'd just come out and she walked up behind him. "How's everything going out there?" she asked tentatively, stealing a glance down the hallway towards the main room. She could still hear familiar voices in the distance, and she sighed as they entered the room to where Portabello and Mitsu still were. "Look who I found," she said brightly, hoping her purple-haired friend was feeling better.
=-=-=-=-= The more he moved, the more his stiff, and still-somewhat aching muscles seemed to loosen up and before long he could almost walk on his own, without any help whatsoever. Neither he nor his rescuer said a word until they'd arrived at their destination, and he was only able to make out the name on the sign posted outside - Professor Rowan. Like the tree, he thought somewhat idly, taking a slow, deep breath as they headed inside. He allowed the man to sit him down and his body seemed to groan in relief, and he nodded gratefully as the man - he wasn't sure if he was actually the Professor or not just yet - and he sipped the water cautiously. It tasted surprisingly sweet and within a few seconds he'd drank it all down, setting the paper cup down on the table in front of him. He could feel the water already working to rehydrate him and he sighed, placing his palms on the table on either side of the cup before looking to the professor expectantly. He had questions, but the blonde boy wasn't sure if he had any answers.
=-=-=-=-= Zaira let out a happy cry as the Hoothoot landed on her head. She strained her eyes trying to look at him and as he flew off, the sudden lack of weight made her stumble again. "Shinx, shinx!" she cried, quickly darting after him, eager for a game of tag. He was by far the most interesting and fun-looking Pokemon she'd met so far; so much more so than that mean old Sneasel!
Karrigan continued to smile her usual, shy little smile as she watched Venerax react to Aegeus. It was always fun to see the looks on peoples' faces when they saw the Onix. "Perhaps," she nodded in agreement, though she was also interested to see what the Porygon was capable of. "I'm sure he wouldn't be too happy with missing out on a training session." The Onix made a low, rumbling sound that sort of sounded like a purr and he moved forward, slowly, and gently bumped his nose up against Ven's arm to say hello.

Miharu couldn't help but chuckle as Sam released her Marshtomp and used the Ice Beam TM on her. She couldn't help but notice the glare as Star was returned quickly, and she nodded. "Okay then, Azalea it is," she replied with a nod. "But first, you might wanna let Star back out. And your Murkow, too." She took the two HM discs from her pocket and held them out for Sam to take. "This one is Surf, and this one is Fly. I imagine they would both come in handy, as Fly would help against some of Bugsy's underlings." Since she'd been there before, she knew there were quite a few younger trainers, all with their own swarms of bug type Pokemon. "That is, if you want to. HMs can be used over and over again, so I really don't mind letting you use them." She took Aska's PokeBall from her belt and rolled it over her fingertips a few times before tossing it. The Pidgeot appeared in a flash of light and she spread her wings, crowing loudly. "Aska, this is Sam, my new friend," she said. The bird Pokemon cooed and bowed her head, though mostly she was just impressed with the fact that Miharu had managed to befriend someone.

Mitsu was still slightly shaking. "Thank you Portabello," she said slowly, looking down into her hands. Truth be told, she was a bit scared when the Breloom suggested that her energy was similar to Mike's. But she hadn't cracked. She wouldn't crack, she couldn't afford to so something like that. No, she was much to afraid of death. At the same time though she made no goal to tell anyone of her past. Mitsu shook her head, knocking the thoughts back to the dark depths to which they belonged.
Mitsu hardly noticed that Kasiya had gone and returned with Keegan. She looked at his arm, making sure that it no longer hurt him. He hadn't asked for an explanation, something she was rather grateful for, but she was sure someone out there would. What would she say? She didn't want to say anything.
"Hi Keegan," she said quietly. Swinging her legs over the bed, she tried to stand up. Mitsu faltered a bit a first, before getting her footing down. She had always recovered rather quickly, but she still felt drained. "I'm guessing everyone is still outside?" she inquired looking past the couple and down the hall.

Sam's eyes widened. "Wha-what? Are you serious?" A bit dazed by the sudden gesture, she retrieved Star's and Devlin's Pokeballs, shaking her head slightly every few moments. When the Pidgeot was released, Sam bit back a yelp of surprise. She had been too bewilderd to notice Miharu throwing the Pokeball. She blinked a few times, then pressed the button on both Pokeballs. Star re-emerged in a flash of light, posing as she did. Devlin came out quietly, a bit scared, but he soon hopped into the air, hovering near Aska. He liked having another Bird Pokemon around. Sam put the Pokeballs in her jeans pocket, before finally approaching the beautiful Pidgeot. "Hello Aska. Your trainer is a very kind person," she murmured to her. She reached out to pat the Pidgeot's wing. The feathers were very soft. She turned to Miharu, glancing to both her Pokemon. She noticed for the first time that Miharu was holding out the HM discs for her to take. She took the discs cautiously from her, then bowed her head in thanks. This was absolutely amazing. Star realized that her Trainer had something for her, and strode forward, puffing out her chest. Two gifts for her in one day? Acceptable. Devlin seemed to realize the same thing, and he swooped down to take his place next to Star. She narrowed her eyes, and exhaled an icy breath at him, causing him to yelp in pain.
"What did you do that for, Star?"
"Sam is giving something to me, not you. Back off." Star looked expectantly at Sam, who now held one disc in each hand. Sam had sighed when Star had scared Devlin away, and was now ignoring their angry chatter.
"Devlin, come here, and perch on my shoulder. This if for both of you." Devlin stuck his tongue out at Star, before alighting on Sam's shoulder. He felt more confident with Sam nearby. She took the sturdy light blue disc and placed it on his forehead. The disc glowed brightly, but it did not fade and break as the TMs had. "That's incredibly convenient," she murmured. She then knelt and placed the darker blue disc on Star's forehead, who wanted desperately to knock it away. Why should she accept a gift that wasn't special for her? But she wasn't stupid, and she knew that the disc was going to teach her a powerful move. So she allowed it, and soon the disc had finished glowing. Sam stood, and handed the two discs back to Miharu. "Now listen to me, Star and Devlin. You now know Surf and Fly, both very useful and powerful moves. Though you can't use them as Field Moves yet, they will still be immensely helpful in our upcoming battle. I want you both to thank Miharu, who gave us this oppurtunity okay?" Devlin cooed happily and flew over to Miharu's shoulder, where he nuzzled her neck. Star, however, stood still. Sam narrowed her eyes at her and retrieved her Pokeball. "Star, now. Before I recall you, and you won't get to battle for a long time." Sam hoped Star wouldn't see through the bluff, since she actually desperately needed Star for the battle. Apparently she didn't because Star strode up to Miharu, and grudgingly extended a fin for Miharu to shake. Sam recalled Devlin from Miharu's shoulder. "I...really can't express how grateful I am Miharu. This is simply amazing! Now Devlin has a new move too, and they're both so helpful! Now I have to be sure to beat the other Gym leaders, so they can start using these as Field Moves as well. Though I don't Devlin will ever be strong enough to Fly me to far away places, even when he is a Honchkrow."

Venerax nodded flipped open his pokénav and quickly keyed in a number. While he waited for the other side to pick up he idly rugged the massive onix’s nose.
*****
The lab was filled with flickering lights and continuous data flows that were all visible to the digital pokémon. The human’s designated Bill and Arturo poured over his program, deciphering the flaw in the loaded software its trainer had installed. Then a wireless signal entered the lab. A retrieval code. Calculus analyzed the lab’s system more thoroughly. There. A wireless transmitter. Then it was in the datastreams.
*****
“I believe I’ve nearly isolated the issue with the machine,” Arturo said as he examined the collected data from the pokemon.
Bill moved over to see what Arturo was examining. “Hmmmm…I see.”
“It appears to be an archaic program,” Arturo said somewhat disdainfully. “I will have to bone up on the language, but I should be able to isolate its triggers.”
“That’s…” Bill stopped mid-sentence.
“What?” Arturo looked up from his screen and followed the researcher’s eyes. In the midst of the data analyzer the blue porygon’s polyhedrons had begun to spin. Sparks of light flashed into life and then died just as quickly around it, like a series of mini fireworks. Then it was like the Pokémon was coming apart. Disassembling at a rapid rate, and then it was just gone.
*****
Booky fluttered low to the ground and then flew up just as the shinx approached fluttering over its head to land far enough for it to chase after it. Then it bounced back and forth on its feet rapidly cooing at the other Pokémon. “Hoot hoot hoot hoot”

"Wow," Jett murmured, taking it all in. This is where some of the best learned about Pokémon. Gym leaders could have trained here. Maybe even the Champion! "This is amazing."
Without thinking very much, he stumbled forward, staring blankly at the building. Then, he turned to Tailor, smiling.
"What’s it like there?"

Rowan watched the boy drink some of the water from the cup as he wondered what questions he should ask first. The boy looked pretty dazed and somewhat confused as to where he was. That probably wasn't to good a thing, maybe he was concussed? He would have to keep a close eye on the boy. When the blond finished up the water he filled the cup up again before putting it back down on the table. Sea water was very draining on the body so it would probably be a while before he was fully hydrated again. "So boy, what were you doing laying there on the sand? It's a bit to early for swimming." Not that the boy looked like he had been swimming, he looked like a half drowned Raticate.
~~~~~
"Good morning my student. Now you and Luffy get started with your stretches while I talk to Ampersand for a moment." The older man waved at Robin before heading over to Ampersand. "Your job today is going to be setting up an obstical course for Robin's and her pokemon to do by the end of the day. Use her Ambipom to move the heavy stuff, it's her strongest pokemon and therefor it needs the least amount of work."
"Anything you want in particular for it?" Ampersand drawled his southern accent coming out a little strong, that might be because he was up so early in the morning.
"Just make it something challenging and something you can set up in multiple locations. She is going to be earning her badges while she trains with me." Tony offered as they both watched Robin and Luffy stretch out with grins on their faces. " All right you two I think thats enough!" Tony yelled clapping his large hands together.
Stopping what she was doing Robin and Luffy bounded over to him wide grins on each of their faces. "What are we going to do next Master!" Robin was eager for her training! She was going to be a superhero!
"You mentioned the other day that you had a Totodile?"
At the question Robin's smile fell and a sad look appeared on her face. "Yeah I do, he was really hurt though, even after Nurse Joy took care of him all night."
"Well your going to get him back. Pokemon do need rest but they also need therapy in order to get better. I am going to teach you some basic physical therapy so you can take care of your pokemon when they get hurt like that in the future. You have ten minutes so you better run." Tony grinned at her as a panicked look appeared on his students face.
"Ack!" Robin didn't even say goodbye as she took off sprinting to the pokemon center. She was hoping against all hope that her parents had put Black*Star back into his ball and in the pc for a nights rest. Skidding to a stop in front of the pokemon center Robin waited impatiently for the automatic doors to slide open to admit her.
“Well, we learn lots of things about Pokémon,” Tailor thought for a moment. “Like there’s a move call, Secret Power. And it like draws out the moves of the vary world. But it all depends on where the Pokémon using it is.”
“Oh yeah?” Crush nodded.
Tailor nodded vigourously. “We were shown. And pretty much any pokemon can learn it with the right training.”
Jett briefly made a mental note of this move before nodding, smile firmly in place. "That's really cool!" He had no idea what to say next, but he found himself glancing at a building in the distance. His attention span broke from it and returned to the two others, smile broadening a tad.
"So, what's next on the tour?"
"Oh, there you are," Keegan said, looking over his shoulder as Kasiya was suddenly behind him. His quick glimpse inside the room had shown only Mitsu and Mike's Breloom. "Everyone's still in one piece, essentially," he answered, pushing the door open all the way and allowing Kasiya to enter first. "Hey," he replied in response to Mitsu's greeting, noticing very quickly that she'd stopped to study his arm. He rubbed it almost subconsciously, sometimes certain it would burst into flame and the scars would spontaneously reappear. Of course, nothing of the sort ever happened, and he found himself wondering how she planned to explain her ability to heal. He doubted that anyone had just up and forgotten about it. "Yeah," he finally said, nodding at her question, and he took a step forward to help her as she faltered, though she recovered before he could really get anywhere near her. "Everyone's still all out there, though Blaine and Sabrina went off somewhere to talk. She also used her Alakazam to teleport Kilik here. Mike and Sabrina must be planning something big and they want all the help they can get," he went on, almost as though he wasn't really talking to anyone except for himself. "Though I somehow doubt I'm gonna be really needed," he muttered, leaning up against the door frame, his arms crossed over his chest. ===== Aska gave a pleasant chirp and bowed her head, though when the young Murkrow was released she focused her attention on him. He seemed very energetic and healthy and she cooed happily, also enjoying the company of another flying type. She saw the HMs change hands and all at once knew what was going on, and she ruffled her feathers a bit and gave the two trainers some space. Miharu watched the two Pokemon with some concern; it seemed the Marshtomp had a bit of a superiority complex over the other Pokemon, and she was suddenly glad that none of her Pokemon had attitudes like Star's. The two Pokemon learned their moves, and Miharu reached up to pat the grateful little Murkrow. "It's no problem," she said, grinning broadly. "Both of those HMs were gifts, and it would be selfish of me not to share them." Her tone was honest and sincere, and she knelt down to accept Star's gesture. "You're welcome, too, Star," she said, smiling at the Mud Fish Pokemon. "You should be a little nicer to Devlin," she said, nodding at Star. "You probably don't know it, but as the senior Pokemon on the team, that little guy probably looks up to you. And besides, someday he might fight back." She winked at Star and stood up, looking back at Sam again, considering what she'd said about being able to fly with him, and she shrugged. "Maybe, maybe no, but either way, this is a good move for him." She put the two HM discs away and walked over to Aska, stroking the soft feathers of the Pidgeot's neck. "Well, are we ready?" she asked, a little excited to see how Sam would fare at the Azalea gym.
Karrigan stepped back a bit and looked down at Ikouma. The Sneasel was standing perfectly still, his arms folded over his chest in a very serious manner. His eyes were narrowed into tiny slits, and he was still watching Venerax carefully. Aegeus, meanwhile, lapped up the attention from the new person like an overgrown puppy, though the Rock Snake backed off a bit as Ven opened his PokeNav.
Zaira, meanwhile, was having a blast playing with Booky the seemingly equally-energetic Hoothoot, even though she seemed to be a bit oblivious to the fact that she would probably never catch him unless he wanted her to. The Shinx gave a playful cry and darted forward once more, not looking as though she planned to give up any time soon.
=-=-=-=-= He murmured his appreciation as the paper cup was filled up with water again, though this time he sipped it slowly. Something in the back of his mind told him to take it easy, and he didn't want to risk making himself sick when he was already imposing on this poor guy. There was that, and he really had no idea where he was, or how he'd gotten on that beach, so naturally when the man asked him what he was doing out there, he just sat in the plastic chair with a dumbfounded expression on his face. "Uh, I don't know," he answered finally, staring blankly at the cup sitting there on the table. "But I don't think I was swimming, not in my clothes, at least." He took a moment to actually look at his clothing. He only had one shoe, and his jeans were in terrible condition. The jacket he wore was a rather nice one, though still a little damp and smelling strongly of seawater. "I wish I knew..." he whispered, clasping his hands together, trying not to look as terrified as he felt.
