I suggested that either you (Tina), Kitty, or MLT make the thread. And then I found out that you are the only graduate out of the three, so I thought that maybe you should make the thread. You should probably discuss it between the three of you though.

Okay, I'll talk to them but, I thought I should ask here first.

Talk amongst your Gryffindors if you think you need to. It's a Gryffindor RA, and should be represented by a Gryffindor. I don't think any of the mods intend to change that.

Whats the point in making another mule if it requires someone still be driving behind it? If someone who the mods don't really know well want to roleplay a nurse, that "trust" issue behind the mule is going to become a very annoying problem really fast. And I don't like that idea at all. The Wing never needed a mule when 5 people felt like roleplaying nurses in the past. The only reason I ever became head nurse in the first place was because I was the only one who expressed any interest in continuing the nurse roleplay; all the previous nurses no longer had time for it by the time I came into it. So if no one is interested in playing the part, the nurse mule will just get shuffled back to the mods who will have to figure out what to do with it, and the mods have enough on their plate. Just because there's a mule involved doesn't mean it'll make the roleplay any more active. That's up to the roleplayers to make it work. It's always been up to the roleplayers in the Hospital Wing.

As for DC, um... I actually don't know when it used to the start, but whenever you do it, it should come sometime after the start of term sorting has ended

DC should start once classes begin (that's when the Halls of Learning becomes officially opened).

I agree with Juni on the mule thing (and the RA thing).... the grad subforum is mostly the grads with very minimal input by mods; mules are made on a special (and needed) basis. Not all of our student positions have mules: ie Keeper of the Lists, Dueling Club instructors.

Game Master is a mule because it oversees an entire subforum
Editor is a mule because it posts our Monthly. Both of these positions affect the guild as a whole

The RP subforum has mules only for the House Ghosts...all those threads are simply roleplays created by members over time

Also if you're interested in becoming Head Nurse we can simply get Adonis to make an announcement/RP in that thread labeling you as such

It was just a suggestion, and I didn't know at the time that there were 5 different nurses. I thought there was only one and since it did affect so much rping I thought it was a good suggestion (at the time), but I understand now what both of you are saying.

Also, thanks for letting me know about DC. That's what I guessed but, I wasn't sure.

To a mod (or a member who knows for sure):

are there still limits on the number of points a teacher can offer? If so, what are they? I can't remember... I know it exists, but I can't find it!

We talked about homework not being worth 10-20 Points unless it was a Final.

Quidditch was tried for a while but it never really took off (no pun intended). It just sort of died, so we're turning the quidditch subforum into the grads subforum.

As for the limits on house points for classes. I think they do exist; I'll have a look around. Probably in the Entrance Hall.

EDIT: The Entrance Hall and the Halls of Learning welcome thread say no more than 20 points for an assignment, but nothing about exams. I think there used to be something but I may very well be wrong. It might be a good idea to put in a limit for exams too though.

I thought we agreed a long time ago that classwork/homework should be worth 10 Points, Extra Credit 5-10, and Finals 10-20. Did this change?

User ImageJack: Where to, Miss?

@ Avitar & everyone who talked about assignment points: I agree! I need to know what the assignment points are to be worth pwease...

I would be more than happy to take over the Nurse Rp I love to rp as Poppy Pomfrey I would even get the mule (if allowed access) a get up to look like Madam Pompfrey

We're not doing a mule for the nurse, and the points are correct like Avatar said (at least that's what I remember). If another mod remembers otherwise, let me know!

If what Avatar said is correct for the points, then I would suggest making sure it says that in the Entrance Hall and somewhere in the Halls of Learning (if it hasn't already been changed). And then post in the Entrance Hall or something to let the teachers know the rules have been updated.
