Her body felt heavy as she pulled it from the bed. She didn't want to go, but she had to, especially since she hadn't went to ground this day. "I won't be long, Valzar...you can come with me if you'd like to..."

Valzar shook his head quickly, the idea of her approaching some random male, smiling at him, and luring him to some dark secluded spot to... Rage, dark and violent quickly flooded his mind.

I will not use a male for food. Not if it upsets you so. I would not want you coming to me smelling of another woman...so I will never come to you smelling of another man. She whispered it in his mind even as she bounded out of the cave, searching for female prey.

He rested his head back on the pillow, disturbed by the feelings and emotions he was experiencing. He'd never considered acting out any forms of violence, that was for the females, yet should Callista had approached any male to feed he would have wanted to kill him...violently. Valzar shook his head, "What is wrong with me?"

Nothing is wrong, Valzar...you're acting normal for a carpathian. She broke the contact when she found her prey, drinking heavily in case there was another episode where she needed to replenish Valzar.

"You appear more beautiful every moment," he said nuzzling her, then he paused remembering. "The entire world seems...more vivid. Not just sights, but smells, sounds..." he rubbed his hooves along her arms, savoring the feeling of her silky coat. "Sensations..."

She smiled a little guiltily. "I'd love to see just how much more sensitive you are, but I'm not sure you understand why this is bad...I'm afraid I've done more harm than good."

Callista's body responded to his touch, setting itself on fire and wanting more. "You're distracting me, Valzar..." She tilted her head back to allow him more room. "I'm glad that you enjoyed taking from me...but...there are consequences if we exchange again..."
