Now Ben was feeling quite silly at his own awkwardness. For some reason he had let himself get wound up in simple things. He shook it off and then laughed.

Oh...eh...ha ha ha! Of course..but, no, I like yours too.

Ben watches you slip the patch over your eye and then nodded with slightly pursed lips. You had to put your mask on in public but maybe you would show your true identity when they were alone here. He knew why you wanted it but still wished things were different. His face, however, showed none of this but he gripped the hand that you looped through his arm with his spare hand and led you out the door. He released you just long enough to lock the door and then went back to being interlaced with you.

Ben noticed how quiet and still the tavern was at this hour, most of those few tenants had gone to bed and the sounds of the shoes each other wore made a slight echo. At first, this might take them off guard but only a moment before the eeriness wore off.

He walked with you out the front door. When he reached the exit, he had a mental flashback of the strange O Ren person. Thinking smartly, he locked all three of the tavern locks to protect the inhabitants. He was sure, though, that Cap would take care of it if anything happened.

The night air was fresh on the two as they walked down the path, a slight wind licking them warmly as it slightly moved the trees. This hour was usually called the still hour since most animals slept but the trees were as alive as ever. Ben looked over and smiled as you walked.

Ahhh...fresh air. This is...nice.



((Well, I could see how it might make you talk about it but still...that's not very fair to do! Okay then...if you don't want to carry on OOC convo then don't get all hurt about not getting to talk to us OOC. xp ))

*Synge smiles as you compliment her clothes again. She gripped your hand as the walked through the empty tavern, it was a bit spooky at this hour. Synge instantly felt happy when they got outside. She had stayed up many nights outside in nature at this hour, just enjoying the feeling it gave her. She was happy she share this time with Ben now. She smiled brightly and nodded. Although her patch was back on, she was still the same loving girl Ben had come to know.*

This is beautiful. I love this time of night, it just has a good feel to it.

((Might want to not lock the doors, as Hikaru and Keira are seconds away from trying to come back inside from their shopping date hehe))

*Hikaru walked with Keira back through the trees with bags in his hands. He had bought a good amount of new clothes and was happy. In his mind, the date had been great fun. He stopped at a spot between all the trees for a moment and turned to Keira.*

Sorry we were out so late, but thanks for coming! I hope you had at least as much fun as I did.

((Let's stay here until Synge and Ben are out of sight. I don't want them to see each other haha I am too lazy to RP that right now.))

*Synge also slipped her shoes off as the hit the beach, holding them in her free hand. She wasn't going to get them all sandy like last time. She really couldn't think of the creepy time he was talking about, to her everything from twilight on was beautiful. She didn't really care about that right now though, she cared about being with him. She nodded.*

Ready! I can't wait to see...if you thought of it I'm sure I'll love it.

*Keira blushes as Hikaru tried to open the tavern doors. She felt in a trance like state but shook out of it when Hikaru couldn't get the door open*

As the two walked down the beach it was low tide and the water was gently rolling up the seashore. Ben made the path follow close to the shoreline so that with each flow of the water, their feet caught a nice cooling water splash. As the two walked along, the moonlight danced lazily across the surface of the Dark sea. From here, the world felt so huge and they...so small...but Ben was happy and he was pretty sure Synge was too.

After walking for a few minutes, Ben paused at a section of the beach and smiled, taking your hands in his and smiling brightly.

This is the site of our first water dunk...I won't dunk you but I do want to do something I should have done back then!

*He then stepped forward, wraps his arms around your waist and kissed you softly as the water brushed against your feet. He took longer than normal when pulling away from this one as it felt right to him.

There...that's better!

He pauses a moment longer and then takes you with him as he continues to walk along the beach behind the two were a strand of dual footprints, some washed away and some still there.



((Eh...anou...you still never decided what the middle "B" was for...did you? But of course I control my urges. That doesn't mean talking about it in a situation like this is FAIR. Now does it! razz . What are you rambling about with LNS? Are you her keeper? rofl ))

*Keira sighs*

I hope so. I really don't want to sleep out there in the cold!

*Keira looks around a moment and ponders*

No, no I don't think so. I guess we are just going to have to wait for him to get back?

Ben bursts into laughter as he hears what you called it.

Hahaha! Yes...I betrayed you but only to win your heart...that should be a good enough trade, right? Besides...all your squirming today while we were spending time together...geez..the least you could do is forgive the betrayal.

Ben laughed again and winked to show he was kidding too. He took your hand in his and kept making his way down the path with you nearby. Occasionally he would let you walk a little in front or a little behind so you kept your feet wet like he did.

He seems taken aback when you seem to change gears so suddenly but he keeps walking, turning to face you slightly though so you can share facial expressions.

Thanks? Thanks for putting up with me...besides...it isn't like being with you is something I have to do...I want to do it. You deserve more than you give yourself credit for...why do you run yourself down so much? Synge...

He stops and then picks you up in his arms, lifting you from your waist to a foot or so off the ground.

Synge...you are a wonderful person...I found so much in you that...I was missing...I owe you more thanks than you do me!

With that, he leaned you down to steal a kiss and then sat you back on the ground. He then points ahead to an area where the rocks seem to extend out into the sea, barring their path.

We're going just beyond that rock there.
