Shadow dropped his right arm and raised his right leg as he hopped forward so that 9's shin and not her foot would hit him. He then extended his leg kicking at her stomach as he let her leg hit his bicep.

As Shadow kicked for her stomach she scooted back slightly and pulled out two daggers. She gabbed one at his ankle and the other at his knee.

As 9 drew the daggers Shadow's eyes narrowed and he began to pull his kick while twisting his right arm clockwise to wrap it around 9's leg. He then simply fell to his right planning to pull her down with him or break her leg. If the daggers continued toward his leg one would just miss his ankle but the other would be able to pierce his knee.

9 fell with him. Her leg was badly injured but didn’t break. Once on the ground she tumbled back out of his reach. It has been a while she had nothing to rely on except herself. She looked around the room and then up into the rafter. 9 leaped up to a rope and started claiming quickly.
