Nym's fighter? Hell yeah. That is a man's fighter craft. That probably comes the closest to being my favorite fighter out of all, but I generally rule it out because its unique.
The aurek is an impressive ship. Even stat wise in the KotOR Campaign Guide its nearly impossible to find a better ship pound for pound. The fact it is still in service to the end of the New Sith wars says tons about its adaptability.

Unique ships kick a**. But shame they're unique, cause if you mass produce 'em, they become nothing special.

Indeed. Let's thank god the Empire never had a pilot as crazy in love with his ship as Solo and behind the wheel of a YT.

....I'd argue that but not a single crazy pilot of Solo's Caliber comes to mind.

It's disheartening actually. That the Empire, in all their conquering glory, couldn't match one Corellian Smuggler...

Yes, but you have to ask, how much of his skill was attained on his own, as a Smuggler? He may have been a pilot, but could he really have learned all that he knew from the Empire?

Jaden_Ordo It's disheartening actually. That the Empire, in all their conquering glory, couldn't match one Corellian Smuggler... I'm sure that they had aces of their own. Solo just got more screen time... ninja

We're not talking about Aces. The Empire had loads of Aces. We're talking about Pilots of Han Solo's caliber.

Who could you compare to Han, would be the question. Preferably in a freighter since that is the line of the topic currently.

Exactly. the Empire doesnt have any hotshot freighter pilots. The Old Republic had Carth Onasi to be sure, and Dash Rendar can pick up Solo's slack, but the Empire has no freighter pilots like that.

Well, that's mostly due to the fact that flying freighters through black hole-infested systems wasn't exactly a major Imperial pastime. TIE, shuttle, or capital ship. Take your pick.

One could argue that. Once they got their hands on some Star Destroyers, the New Republic had some creative ideas for them.
