It's people like that Goten person that remind me one can only be helped when they want to help themselves. Also that a good chunk of people are no better than the feces monkeys fling at one another.[/moment of bitterness]

To be honest, the kid's an idiot. That, and I like Melee better than I like Brawl.

I agree...but of the trio I prefer the original best.

In any case, I'll have it around midnight on the release date my time? Who wants some? Send me your codes and everything so we can get the whole wifi thing going.
I had an idea: I think it would be cool if we could set up a thread that invited players to brawl and then use that as a reference page for those that want to see how well their connection holds up across various distances. We could have all the information such as time, date, location a & b, what connection speed they had, and what issues they encountered along with a comment section. We could divide the headings by where the hosts (us) live and then make some state subheadings so we can do different towns too. Hell we could use some kind of map service to find approximate distances too. Sounds like a useful and fun service we could provide right?
...maybe?

If you're willing to stick around for the entirety of the service, then sure. I know I'mma be in line at midnight. Edit: Was in line, and it was one of the most memorable times I've had by my lonesome. I got to see the tail end of the store tourney and participate in a trivia tourney they improvised(and actually got to the last round). The same guy won both events.I don't think I remember a time I enjoyed just hanging out with people waiting for something. I hope when the time comes again, I have someone with me to make the moment even more special. And I hope to have the system to play it on.

Cute. 3nodding
On a side note, I'd love to play- if my wifi worked with my Wii. Damned internet issues. gonk
On a side note, after playing Brawl for a few days, I can say with confidence that it's mostly unchanged; the attacks of original characters are almost identical (With some exceptions, of course), you can play the old levels, and many of the older items are still there. The controls are identical with the regular Gamecube controller, and the Wii controller isn't much different.
However, the changes are welcomed (At least, they are to me); there's plenty of newer characters to supplement the old, with new items to match. And don't get me started with the 'assist trophy'; pulling it out and watching Mr. Rossetti from Animal Crossing rant on and on while the brawl's going on (With the text often distracting and in the way) is a mix between annoying and funny. Especially since I used to play the game all the time. =x
In either case, while my favorite characters remain (Link, Marth, and Kirby), I must confess:
We like Ike. sweatdrop

So I just had a chat with a friend of mine who's head doctor instructed she not speak to people on the internet anymore. I listened and knew tat it would be best for her, so I told her to do what she felt was best. I know feel a bit melancholy from the whole thing, and feel as if I need a hug.

Well I don't understand your dilemma(Either you were tired when you wrote it or my brain still has yet to awaken) But I'll offer you hugs none-the-less.

~zzang~ Well I don't understand your dilemma(Either you were tired when you wrote it or my brain still has yet to awaken) But I'll offer you hugs none-the-less. In short, my friend has issues related to the net, so her doc prescribed she separate herself from it. This makes me quite sad, since I am unable to contact her, and she was also my inside eye to Japanese culture.

Awww, is the guild dying?
I suppose it doesn't really matter, as I have not been gaia-ing as much recently, but I am now chat-forum starved! And require places to post that are not boring.

It's not really dying, since it's never been that active to begin with. What we do need is fresh blood and people getting the guild's name out there. When we get people who meet the kind of standard we'd expect from our members into the guild who will post often, then we will see more life in this place.
In short: STOP LURKING BITCHES and post every once in a while
