Hikari had practiced with her reiatsu immensely and, unbeknownst to her, was ready to call her shikai. She took in a deep breath and began channeling that twisting mass of reiatsu right where she wanted it. She'd seen shunpo used plenty of times, but the technique was only glanced over in the book Nagi gave her. She doesn't know how, exactly, it works. Licking her lips, she figures it's about time to give it a try. She springs off towards the tree line.
From the start, Hikari's actually concerting her reiatsu to enhance her speed. That's, perhaps, the difference between her and the other students present. She had a greater understanding of her reiatsu, and more of it when compared to nearly all the students. She doesn't disappear like she'd seen the senseis when they used shunpo, but she was able to cover more distance a bit quicker then students at her level at least, possibly showing she's progressed above some others.

Hikari recalls her training with her zanpakutous' avatars and Sumizome. She was able to concentrate reiatsu to stand on a hollow's arm. Maybe she could do something similar here. As she reaches the tree line, she aims for one of the trees and jumps towards it, extending her feet in its direction. As she feels her feet 'stick' to the bark, she springs off, so she can keep her speed heading back. She actually managed to crack some of the bark with the pressure from her reiatsu.
Hikari easily bounds back to the starting point, the place used for executions. As she reaches the massive zanpakutou, she slows down and begins drawing her reiatsu back into her body. She can feel herself breathing a little harder, recovering from the exertion. "That proves shunpo is a difficult technique at least... Even with my reiatsu control, that's pretty much all I can do. She places her right hand over her chest as she lets out an exaggerated sigh. She may not have been trying to race or get the best time, but her high reiatsu and reiatsu control probably meant she did anyway.
With that out of the way, Hikari cheerfully walks back over to the instructor/captains before making her way to where she rested her zanpakutou. Seating herself next to it, she figures she may as well look around. "Neh. Luna-chan. Artemis-chan. This is going to be an interesting day." She beams a smile as she talk to the avatars resting in her zanpakutous.

"Haruko-chan.. It is me who should say I am sorry. Which I am doing, right now. You never did anything wrong through my perspective. You simply unleashed the power within you! And I deserved that treatment you thought of me as an enemy and you won! You did good and nothing less!" he hoped his little speech sheerd her up, since he had already made one person hurt.

Power within me... Yeah... I suppose so... She said, sighning softly. Haruko raised her gaze, looking for a moment into his eyes. You know, people say that you don't really know someone until you fight them, and others say that its not until you look into thier eyes. Haruko had now done both, and she could tell without hesitation that Shin was a kind, good-natured person. Although she felt better inside about the incident, when her voice came out it was still her usual, quiet, meek voice. "You have nothing to apologize for... But... thank you, Shin-san..."

Although Hito had been there pretty much the whole time, she was... asleep. Despite being generally known as a light sleeper, she slept through a lot. Pretty much everything... then she was eventually jolted awake by the thundering of many feet against the ground she was laying upon. "Unh, what the-?" She stared blankly at the numbers of people moving.
She spotted the only face she remotely knew and ran towards her. "Haruko! Haruko! What the hell is going on here?" She asked, not paying attention to the fact Haruko was already involved in another conversation... and not really caring about that fact in the first place. "Oh man, and you wouldn't believe the crazy dream I was having either. I coulda swore it was real... except for the penguins... I'm pretty sure those were fake..." She trailed off a bit then shook her head. "Anyways..." She looked around a bit "What the hell is going on??"

Haruko turned towards Hito, her untidyness seeming worse now than every before. Haruko had no idea what to say... hell she thought Hito had wandered somewhere and gotten locked in Rugonkai, or even eaten by a hollow. Haruko shook her head softly, not knowing what exactly to tell Hito, except to ask one of the captains. "Um... alot. Maybe you should ask one of the people in the white haori..."

"Snapdoggies..." Hito looked down, almost looking pensive... if such a thing were even conceivable. "Alright, one o' thems?" She asked, pointing to two women clad as Haruko had weakly described. She didn't really wait for an answer but marched up towards them. When she was in front of them she made an amiable wave although there was something about them that kinda bothered her. Perhaps it was some sort of nervousness? Not likely, Hito was never nervous, although there was the fact that these people seemed rather authoritative and she had been... well... slacking.
She shook her head and looked at them pointedly. "I'm Akisaka Hito, and..." she paused wondering how she could put this to avoid that issue. She pointed down at Haruko "-she told me you could tell me what's going on?" She tried to put on an 'innocent act' and smile nicely, but it didn't work so she stopped and stared blankly.

"It was noth-.." Once agin that appeared to have happend quite alot these last days, he were cut of by a person. But that was not everything that took his attention away from Haruko. Even though Shin was really bad at sensing other reiutsu. He could feel the uncontrolled power of the boy who ran a couple of secounds ago. He kept his eyes on him the whole time he ran. There was something about him that botherd Shin greatly, he had a dark aura around himself. "I should talk to him. He seems so lonely!" he thought to himself as the boy walked past him and Haruko, even the teachers. After a few moments of courage talk, he followed his classmate and poked him on the shoulder. "Hi! I don't think we have ever talked! I am Takumi Shin. Loser of both of the Zanjutsu matches" he tried to make a joke as an first introduction.

Haruko sighed, hiding her inward rage towards Hito for trying to pass off some of the blame on her. She had already let anger control her to much... She turned towards Shin to apologize for the interuption, only to find he had run off to talk to someone else. It was starting to seem to Haruko that to be a shinigami you didn't really need manners...

Kaosu sighed, standing up. Alright, you're okay. He walked back towards the mass of shinigami crowding up, stretching his arms upwards as he yawned. As he approached, he noticed most of them breaking off and going in different directions, leaving one alone. One I don't know.
Kaosu smiled, stopping a few feet behind the mystery girl. "Would it be too brash to ask your name, miss?" He broke out into a grin, placing his hand on his stomach as he bowed slightly, showing every part the gentleman. It was...just the way he acted around women. Except Ran, perhaps. But Ran wasn't exactly here.

It took Haruko a short moment to realise the voice was talking to her. After all, people usually didn't just walk up and start talking to her. But then again, she had never really been in a situation where that would happen. It wouldn't hurt to make some freinds, right? Haruko turned to the person who had spoke, put her hands at her side and bowed her head a little. "I... I'm Kadota Haruko. May... may I ask your name?" Once again she spoke in her weak, quiet voice. She wished she could talk louder, its just she got nervous easy around people she didn't know. Haruko was grateful for one thing though, and that was that she hadn't tied her pale green hair up into a ponytail for the lesson yet, because it was covering her ears, which from the warmth they were giving off she was sure they were beet red, the coloration caused by her delayed response.

Keeping the grin plastered on his face, he stood straight and held out his right hand towards her. "The name is Kaosu Hokosaki. Nice to meet you Haruko." He toned it down to a smile. "Let me guess, you're kinda new here? You're a new face to me at least."
She seems kinda shy. He guessed, keeping his hand extended.

"Um... yeah..." Haruko said, hesitating a moment before accepting the Kaosu's handshake. He seemed positive... and energetic. Much nicer than Hito, atleast.

Masaru was standing with his arms crossed, observing the other students practicing. He heard behind him Kaosu speaking, so he turned around and thought he'd make some conversation with him to pass the time. He walked up to him and placed his hand on his shoulder as to get his attention.
"Hey there, Kaosu. I imagine you had no trouble with the hohou earlier."
He chuckled a bit as he looked at the student he was speaking with previously. He hadn't met her yet, so he figured now would be a good time as any. He took his hand off of Kaosu's shoulder and waved.
"I'm Ishikawa Masaru, by the way."

Hikari just watches as everybody goes about doing whatever. She can still feel her heat in her legs, which tells her she's not exactly up to speed with the other technique required for shunpo. She sighs. She's guessing its the technique the class is meant to study, hohou. She rubs her calves as she looks to her zanpakutou. "I wonder if I'm ready to hear your name yet." She hears a familiar giggle and smiles. "Maybe you are, and we're just waiting for the right occasion to tell you." Despite the mock insult, she still wears a bright smile on her face. "Well I hope to hear soon." She looks up, wondering what that 'occasion' might be. They probably have an idea that right now might not be the best time. She smiles and leans back once again. "Neh. Luna-chan. Artemis-chan. Tell me about bankai?" There is a long silence. "Not yet, child." Hikari simply nods. "I understand."
