Oukan smirked at Orochimaru's comment. He kept the same speed with the saanin, even though that speed was constantly increasing. He looked back at his passenger, and silently thanked the fact that Kabuto's sleeping potion bit, worked. All he'd had to do was wave it under her nose, and it would still be a few hours before she woke.
Kaebu gave a small nod from beside Choujasu, though the other man was mostly talking to himself. He led off their departure from the room, moving out via window and going across rooftops. He made sure Choujasu caught up with him, before moving a little quicker, off to the listed location.

Anekio blinked a little before rolling her eyes at him. "Hnn... Let's go with the ignoring." She gave him a small smile, "Where should we head out first? We've got to get to Orochimaru, but if you want to find Takeshi, I understand."
"Now then," Orochimaru mumbled to himself, thinking of a way that would probably work best if they were ambushed. "Oukan, be prepared for anything, even the unlikely." He darted his gaze towards the line on the other man's face before going back to staring ahead.
Choujatsu remained a little behind Kaebu as they continued, making sure that he'd be prepared for any sort of battle. With a soft sigh, he looked towards the forest that was of a slight distance away.

Oukan nodded. He let Ran hang from her hands for a few moments as he grabbed two kunai from the pouch on his leg, tucking his arms back under the Kaguya's legs for support again. He looked back and listened, judging how far Konoha's shinobi might be. The barking of the ninja-dogs was a bit far off, now, but that didn't mean they were out of the hole, yet.
Suddenly, Oukan noted movement to his left, and he threw a kunai at it. He gave only a slight smirk as he heard a cry, and something crashing down to the forest floor, before he frowned. One meant there was most likely more. He gave a glance to Orochimaru as if to ask 'what's the plan?'
Kaebu continued over the wall, and into the forest. However, as they got to a certain distance, he paused, holding up a hand to tell Choujatsu to do the same. There was a strange fog coming in in one particular area.... There was a very vague sound of running water, as well. The suna-nin looked over to his comrad, as if to ask if they should investigate that, or move on.

Yuhi hung his head slightly. "We were ordered to go after Orochimaru so that's what we must do. If we happen to run into Takeshi along the way, then we can make a little side trip." He crossed his arms over his chest as he looked at Anekio, then turned towards the gate. "Anyway, I'm ready when you are." He adjusted the giant kunai on his back and started walking.

"Do whatever you must to keep Ran-chan safe," Orochimaru hissed, pulling out a vial of poison. "If you can do it, drizzle some of this over the top. If not, don't worry about it." The Sannin sighed a little, but continued going.
Choujatsu lifted his hand the same way Kaebu had, listening to the running water. Shrugging slightly, he nodded, heading towards the direction.
Anekio rolled her eyes, "I know that. You really must be as dense as you look. I was giving you this opporitunity to go ahead and do what you need." She sighed and stood up, following after him lazily. "Stupid..."

Oukan took the vial, doing as told while Ran hung from his back. He also removed some senbon he had hidden in his pouch, and did the same- projectiles being his favorite weapons. He corked the vial again and put it in his pouch with the knock-out vial, each one having a different shape so he'd know which one is which. Armed fully once again, he tucked his arms under the Kaguya's legs once more, careful to not cut her.
I forgot... we've still got a ways to go before we get to the base. And, we've still gotta shake these guys off our tail... Oukan thought, gritting his teeth slightly. Another figure moved up from his left, and the second Kunai was launched, getting the guy in the shoulder. However, the poison seemed to work quickly, and the guy quickly crumpled and fell to his death.
Kaebu followed, this time, finding the fog to thicken more as they went. He soon paused again, his hands moving slightly. There was no visibility whatsoever, and the sounds of a fight were heard, echoing slightly through the fog.
"Kugutsu no Jutsu" he whispered, his voice almost a low hiss as chakra strings moved from his fingers to the bundle on his back. Wrappings were undone automatically as a bird-like puppet emerged. A few twitch of his fingers, and the bird was flapping it's wings, the wind from it effective as it started pushing the fog away from him so he could see more clearly. Choujatsu was soon spotted, and he gave him a small nod.

Mai-lin laughed. "I don't know why. If a boy had longer hair then me I would be kinda mad. I mean, I'm a girl, I should have the longer hair." She flushed slightly. "But I shouldn't really be saying that since I hate other people who are like that...who sterotype.....oh...oh no..." Her face flushed an even deeper shade of red and she hid it in her hands.
Mamoru let the earthquake go and sighed as it slowed down. That had been held for too long. She stood there, panting and sweating, unawares to the danger. "Why you hidding, nee? Scared of me already, nee? Well if that little show was all it took you aren't a big bad, nee?" Even as she said this she was trying to stop herself from collosping by leaning on her sythe. Her cheeks had lost the warm tint to them and she almost seemed less alert

"You're the one who was just telling me to go against the Hokages order. I'd go after Takeshi if we didn't have to worry about Orochimaru first." And I'm not strong enough to defeat him alone, not yet. "We need to hurry before they leave Fire Country." Yuhi took off at a run, knowing the Jounin would easily be able to catch up with him.
"You sure are a strange girl, Mai-lin." Kei said as he watched her cheeks turn red. "don't tell me you were thinking something about my brother?" he asked with a raised brow. Does she have a crush on him or something?
"I hide from no one!" Takeshi shouted as his water dragon slammed into the ground a few feet from Mamoru. Dammit, I missed her! I need to get her away from Koneko before something happens to her. His own strength was down to 75% after using that technique and he'd need the rest to get back to Mist. Others were drawing close, he could sense them, but he wasn't going anywhere without Koneko.

((Gomen! I had to finish my Japanese paper.))
Mai-lin looked up sharply and shook her head. "No way! He's way too old!" She crinkled her nose and shook her head. "And too much of a filrt. No...I just...I'm sterotyping teme by grouping her in with all other mists and the people who killed Li-wu....And...I just...." SHe looked back down again.
Mamoru sighed as she moved closer to Tori. This is who he wants, nee. So I won't move away, nee. Won't hurt her... "I hope..." she whispered. "Nice jutsu, nee! I wish I could learn water jutsus, nee!" She said, smiling as she looked around. "Now why don't you come down and dance with me. Or are you no good with a wepon, nee?"

"You two seemed to be getting along fine the other night at the bar, even if you were in disguise. Age didn't bother you then." Kei turned away from her, suddenly feeling a bit jealous for no real reason. He likes Sensei anyway... he thought as he looked at some of the flowers. "What does age really have to do with anything? You can't really help who you end up liking, right?" Like the time at the academy where I had a crush on one of my teachers...

"A fast death it is." Takeshi pulled his twin blades out and ran up the side of the cliff to the top where the girl and Tori were. He jumped high into the air and came down fast and hard over Mamoru, the mist still heavy in the air.

"I was older then! I'm not now! And like I said, it had nothing to do with Yuhi-san! Nothing at all!" She crossed her arms and stared out a flower, pouting slightly. She sighed and hung her head. "Ugh." She muttered.
((And so? Mamoru thought he was above her. Just goes to show how 'good' a ninja she is when she uses up a lot of her charkra.))
Mamoru yelped and sunk to the ground, managing to avoid a huge wound and only getting a cut in her shoulder. "Nee! You should be more careful! I could have been Tori-san, nee!" She yelped as she pulled her sythe out from under her and moved it to get ready to swing it in a half moon. SHe readied it and started to swing but only managed to graze Takeshi's side with the tip. "Nee, you are fast!"

"You just looked older, and even when the jutsu was off, you were still hanging all over him." Why can't I let it go? Geh, I sound like an idiot...must be hanging around Yuhi too much lately. "You've got yourself some serious competition if you still want to go after him." He said with a grin, trying to lighten the mood again. "I don't think you'd stand too well against Sensei."
"If you were Koneko, I'd have been bleeding before this." He said and looked down at the cut in his side. "When she remembers who she is and everything else..." She'll be stronger than me, always has been. "Now, stop moving around so I can kill you and get out of here!" he swung his blades again, taking note of where Tori lay beside the rock. Dammit, I can't use my other moves this close to her without risk of hitting her.

Orochimaru smirked when the man died. "Kabuto's still got his brains, I see. Good." He smirked slightly, looking back towards Oukan. "You shouldn't need to much, I guess. When that messenger gts back I'll tell him to have some stronger troops prepare for an ambush." The Sanin muttered, running a hand through his long hair.
Looking behind him once more, he smirked. The Konoha ninja still weren't in view, which was a good sign. The one's they had sent ahead were probably just there for an ambush of some kind.
Choujatsu looked at the bird curiously. It was somewhat amusing as well, giving a short nod back, he looked forward, narrowing his eyes. Pointing his finger forward, he gestured they head that way as it was probably the quickest route. Looking back towards Kaebu he gave a look, wondering what the other wanted to do.
Anekio rolled her eyes, running after him. Once they reached the forest, she managed to get into the trees for safer hiding and began jumping from branch to branch, looking back down at Yuhi. "Then let's hurry up. The sooner we kill Orochimaru, the sooner we get to find Takeshi."

Oukan nodded, looking slightly relieved. He really wasn't up for taking care of every single shinobi that might try and attack them. Orochimaru'd probably help, but it was still 'his job' to take care of any troubles.. and, carry the girl. Still, he only had limited weaponry, as any Shinobi had, and wasn't too fond of the idea of having to stop to use a jutsu.
Kaebu gave a small nod, and gave a slight head-shake that almost asked 'do we want to interfere, if there is a fight?'. He went ahead a little to 'clear the way'. Although it didn't diminish the mist entirely, Gaichou cleared a path so the duo could see a little better.

Yuhi completely agreed with Anekio so sped his pace up. "What do you think our chances are of taking down that Sannin? I think that first time was just luck or something..." his eyes scanned the area around them as they hurried towards their targets, hoping nobody would try and stop them.
