Zanza wasn't much for talking right now, he was just kinda sitting back and taking in everyone's ideas. But now that houka had put in his idea's, Zanza did have a few things to add. " I agree with houka. A loose formation will give each of us room to use our abilitys in the best way possibal. Plus, it'll give me pleanty of room to stay out of their range. Normaly I wouldn't be concerned, but right now i'm not at 100%. I can't even use my good arm, so I'll need to use speed instead of stregnth. " He said, rubbing his arm from the elbo up to its shoulder. " If we use Ame as a target, me and Houka can split up and blend in with the crowd. A ninja's greatest ability is to hide in the light. Any chance we could get radio's so we don't haft to shout to comunicate? " said asked in Rei's direction. Short wave radio wasn't typical for genin to have, but for this mission they might be able to have an exeption. " And one last thing. I think I might know where we could get some information on our Pyro. I noticed some real shady lookin guys hangin out at a bar downtown. Maybe we should start our search there? "

As if already prepared, Rei pulled out four sets of mini radios with their headphones. "I think you guys have this mission down so far... I'll just tag along... ya know... keep an eye on you from the shadows to make sure you don't die... " He laughed slightly at this as he tossed each of them their own radio and headset. "Why don't you three start downtown then, I'll catch up later."

Zanza took the first radio and atached the ear piece to his ear. He tucked the radio in his pocket and took his scarf off, then neatly rerapped it around his head and neck, neatly hideing the ear piece. " Gotta love blue tooth. " he said while checking all his equipment. With everything sorted away neatly, he turned to the group. " Alright, I'll stick to the big crowds and keep my eyes and ears open. Ame, you go where ever the center of atention is. If you see anyone makeing a sceen, you make sure the pyro knows your a ninja. Houka, you stick to the shadows. Keep an eye out for thugs, feel free to interigate any of them if you think they know anything, and radio for back up. And sensei, i'm not telling you what to do, but if i were you I'd stick to the roof tops. It'll give you a clear veiw of everything happening and you can keep out of site. I'll go on ahead. " he said heading in the direction of town. He used Shunshin no jutsu to increase his speed so he would get there before the others.

Ame nodded at her directions and placed her ear phone into her ear as well. She didn't bother covering herself up though. her hair kinda hit the earpiece, but she was supposed to be an obvious ninja... "Alright... center of attention... got it." She would head out after Houka and her brother went off... make things look a bit less like she was really with others...
Rei still had his arms crossed and merely nodded. He was going to let them figure all of this out... as this was another test for their teamwork. When Zanza, supposedly the new leader of the squad, gave his plan and such, he decided to just go alone with it and vanished from their sight

Ame waited a while longer before heading away. She counted to herself, watching as, one by one, eveyone passed her by. Then it was time to go. With that she headed out with a running start. Of course, Ame couldn't help but laugh when Zanza came up with a code name for himself... and Houka as well. Bother were quite humorous. She would have to think of one too then...

Yumi brought a shinai down onto the body of the dummy. She smiled as ft made contact with the dummy. Her smiled broadened. She didn't want Giglamesh to feel that he was wasting his time with her. It made her feel important having Giglamesh as her sensei. Yumi wasn't aware of any other students under Giglamesh's training. She had hoped that she was the only one. Her competitive side was taking over and it probably wouldn't end well if she had someone to compete with. At least that was how she felt about it. It could prove advantageous but Yumi wouldn't ever think so. She slide back away from the dummy and got into the stance again of the clan. She prepared herself mentally and physically for the next attack on the dummy.
I will prove to Giglamesh-sensei that I am worth training.

Yumi took two quick shuffles towards the dummy, using the reverse blade she did an upward slash to the dummy. She stumbled as she went right past the dummy completely missing every aspect of it. A bead of sweat was the only thing to make contact with the dummy. Yumi wasn't going to let that be the only thing that made contact with the dummy. This training was definitely taking all that she had to complete. "I am half-way done." She muttered as reassurance to herself.
Dc:3-7 1d20: 3 Times Completed: 6/15
After muttering her reassuring phrase to herself Yumi pivoted on the ball of her foot. She spun around to face the back side of the dummy. She launched herself back at it and jumped into the air. A burst of energy had suddenly come about her and she planned on using the adrenaline to keep pursuing through this exercise. Yumi brought the right shinai onto the dummy's shoulder and came into contact with alot of force, especially from someone so small because of the jump that she had done. Granted it was only a few feet into the air but it made a difference in the impact. Yumi's shinai's revereberated in her hands. She was slightly shocked at the impact but thrilled none the less. Her face only showed being determined nothing else because she was concentrating so hard. When the shinai stopped vibrating in her arm she pulled it away from the dummy and was ready for the next attack.

Yumi was trying to get this aspect of Giglamesh's training completed as quickly as she could. She wanted to prove herself worthy and thats what she was desperately trying to do. Yumi took two steps towards the dummy quickly. With the shinai in her right hand she did an upward slash to the dummy. When she did it tore the fabric that covered the dummy's torso. The shinai's weren't sharp but with the angle that she had attacked with the fabric caught the wooden shinai just right and it tore it in the way she had attacked it. Yumi was starting to display knowledge of the stance and using the shinai with more skill than she had been. She stepped away from the dummy and took a breath or two in apprehension for her next attack.
Dc:5-9 1d20: 17 Times Completed: 6/15
Yumi mocked the attack that she had just done to attempt a connected series of attacks. She did the upward slash with no force attached to it in order to set herself up for the follow up attack. With the shinai in her right hand stuck in the upward slash motion she took the reverse blade that rested in her left hand and went to slash it across the dummy's head. She was off in the attack by a few inches. She heard the whoosh of the blade as it missed the dummy's head by a few inches on top. She was off and the force from the blade moving made her stumble a few feet over to the right. She was making improvements but she was still tiny framed and easily maneuvered against her will. She recollected herself again for the next swing of the shinai.
Dc:1-5 1d20: 9 Times Completed: 6/15
Yumi used the reverse blade this time. She took a step to the right to follow through with her swing of the shinai. She moved her right arm to slash from the bottom of the torso to the right shoulder of the dummy. Yumi missed the dummy and refrained from stumbling through the attack. She managed to keep her stance and feet remotely steady. She was trying to do a connected attack and since the first one had missed it would basicaly set her up for the second one. Granted these moves were slow and inconsistent but she was only an academy student after all, so just the fact that she could think of what she was doing displayed some skill.
Dc:18-2 1d20: 19 Times Completed: 6/15
For the second attack in this series Yumi was still using the reversed shinai. She kept the shinai parallel to the ground. She moved with the blade to keep herself in front of the dummy. She slashed backward across the dummy's neck. She connected and the shinai tored the fabric around the neck of the dummy. This puppet was starting to look as worn out as Yumi. Although it couldn't even remotely feel what Yumi was feeling. Beads of sweat would randomly drip onto the ground of the badlands. When the made contact with the ground they would instantly hiss quietly and evaporate. That showed how hot the temperature was in the badlands. It was extreme conditions Yumi was working in. She pulled the shinai back away from the dummy and stepped backwards. She assumed the stance and was ready as she was ever going to be for the next attack.
Dc:1-5 1d20: 8 Times Completed: 6/15
The thoughts that were running through Yumi's head were just about finishing this training. She felt she was so close to completing it and getting to rest, she refused to let her body get too weak to finish. She preferred using the reverse shinai as it was more entertaining to use. She took her left arm and did a crescent moon motion with it. The shinai would start from the bottom of the dummy's torso to the left shoulder. It was a good attempt but Yumi missed and didn't connect with the dummy. Yumi was starting to love using this stance it was so convenient to attack with. She had set herself up for another attack on the dummy that was starting to be torn apart.
Dc:7-11 1d20: 10 Times Completed: 6/15
She used the shinai in her right arm this time to attack. Her right arm was still in the air with the reverse shinai. She was starting to bring it back down so she had more range of motion with the shinai in her right arm. She slashed down diagonally across the torso again. The shinai slashed all the way down the body of the dummy. Yumi stumbled through the attack because she was slightly off balance. She dropped the shinai in her right hand and put her hand on the hot ground. she winced from the temperature of the sand and stood up quickly as soon as she regained her balance.
Dc:18-2 1d20: 17 Times Completed: 6/15
Yumi glared at the dummy as if it was the source of all evil. She wasn't blaming Giglamesh because she had asked for this training and would pursue through it even if it took her last breath. But she needed to keep her spirits high somehow and that was how she was doing it, by focusing on tearing the dummy apart. She took a deep breath and was ready to attack again. It was a straight-forward attack on the dummy. She was a few inches off from the dummy and the shinai went sliding past it. She pulled the shinai back in the same pattern and waited a few moments before attacking again.
I will prove to Giglamesh-sensei that I am worth training.

I am Akimoto Ayumi Dc:8-12 1d20: 4 Times Completed: 9/15
Yumi wanted to sit and rest but knew that she couldn't do so without failing Giglamesh's desires for her. She wanted to make him proud of her and show that she had the ambition to complete anything he had to offer her for her training. She stood in her stance and swung her shinai that was in her right hand. She aimed for the torso of the dummy. Unfortunately she missed. Yumi refrained from getting upset as she had missed her target. She resumed the stance and prepared again for the next attack.
Dc:6-10 1d20: 11 Times Completed: 9/15
She took the shinai in her right hand and decided to use it to attack. She frowned as she had a feeling this was going to be a tough round of training. She crouched down to attack the legs of the dummy only to be incredibly disappointed. She slashed the shinai across the legs but was a few inches off from the dummy. Even so Yumi followed through with the attack. She stood up calmly and tried to present herself as collected as she could. She wiped the sweat off of her brow and prepared for the next series of attack. Dc:16-20 1d20: 6 Times Completed: 9/15
Yumi was deciding to alternating using each shinai. She had already decided that she had preference for the reverse shinai. Her desire was to be proficient in both arms and aspects of the stance form. Yumi drew the shinai in her right hand back to attack the dummy with it. This attack was very basic and her face showed her exhaustion from all of the training. Yumi refrained from falling to the ground. Resting was not an option and she wouldn’t let herself. “I can do this.” She thought to herself.
Dc:3-7 1d20: 4 Times Completed: 10/15
Yumi made the attempt to connect the attacks but it wasn’t really successful because of her exhaustion. She did the same maneuver with the reverse shinai as she did the shinai that was not inverted in her right hand. She drew it back and brought it towards the dummy. She contacted the dummy and the shinai shook in her hand. She gripped it tightly as it shook and waited for it to stop. When it did she adjusted her grip on the shinai’s and corrected her stance in anticipation for the next attack.
Dc:6-10 1d20: 11 Times Completed: 10/15
Yumi wanted to use the reverse shinai again. She was going to use it to slash up the body of the dummy from the bottom of its torso to its right shoulder. She took a step toward the dummy as the shinai slashed towards the dummy. She missed what she was aiming for and looked at the dummy as she slashed. It missed the area she was looking towards and didn’t even tear the fabric like it had been. Yumi was starting to wish that she was using actually swords instead of the shinai. The reason for that being she wanted to stab the dummy instead of just abrasing it. She knew she wasn’t at the skill level for being able to use one but she was hoping that soon she would be able to. It wasn’t that Yumi was angry but excited to advance and proving herself. That was her main mission and with such a skilled and tough sensei she had a lot to live up to by learning under him. Yumi regained herself after the attack and then prepared for a continuation swing.
Dc:2-6 1d20: 7 Times Completed: 10/15
With the attack that she had just swung through she used the reverse shinai to slash across the dummy’s pseudo throat. She did so except she missed yet again. This time she barely had missed just like the prior time that she had attacked. Yumi wasn’t going to give up this training because it did hold value to her. She was trying to keep focused and determined but it was difficult because of the heat that was starting to affect her. She hoped that Giglamesh would give her a break after this portion of the training would be completed. She didn’t know if that was likely or not, but she was hoping. Yumi stepped away from the dummy and was ready for her next attack on the dummy.
Dc:7-11 1d20: 16 Times Completed: 10/15
Yumi took the shinai in her right hand and was ready to attack the dummy again. This repetiveness was getting tiring and slightly boring. She wouldn’t admit it to Giglamesh because he would take it as Yumi being lazy. She swung the shinai that was in her right hand to land on the dummy’s shoulder. She had sweat that dripped into her eyes and that caused her to miss her target completely. She stumbled past the dummy. She tried to regain her balance and barely managed to. She had recollected her balance in time to prepare for the next attack.
Dc:5-9 1d20: 1 Times Completed: 10/15
Thinking on her toes Yumi attempted to use the same shinai in her right hand to attack the back of the dummy. She pivoted on the ball of her foot in an attempt to do so. She looked extremely focused as she tried to do the impossible. The only reason it was mostly impossible for Yumi was because of her lack of skill. If she was more agile and had acquired more skill she would have gotten a chance of contacting the dummy. This time she didn’t stumble instead the shinai went in between the dummy’s arm and the torso of it. She slowly pulled the shinai out from between the dummy’s arm and the main body. She calmly walked around to the front of the dummy again. She wiped sweat off of her forehead and out of her eyes with her sleeve. She took a deep breath and regained the stance. Then she was ready for the next swing of the shinai.
Dc:16-20 1d20: 13 Times Completed: 10/15
Yumi had long ago learned that this was going to be the most enduring training of her life and the most difficult thing she has ever experienced. Life for her had been mostly easy and now it no longer was that way. She gripped the shinai tightly the next few attacks she was going to dance around the dummy. It would be a series of four attacks in a row. The first swing of the series was with her right hand. She slashed downward onto the dummy. Although the attack would miss, Yumi wasn’t going to let that discourage her.
Dc:1-5 1d20: 14 Times Completed: 10/15
Yumi stepped around the dummy and rotated on her foot to put her back at the dummy. The reverse shinai in her left hand swung in front of her body to attack the back of the dummy. It would have contacted but she dropped her arm at the last possible second which caused her to miss the back of the dummy. Yumi looked stressed out in her face because of the physical stress she was putting herself under. She knew it was all worth it and would keep going through it no matter how hard it ended up being. She kept setting herself up for another attack, which was nice about how the stance worked.
Dc:2-6 1d20: 7 Times Completed: 10/15
Yumi pivoted on her right foot causing her body to be facing the side of the dummy this time. The regular facing shinai was the next to attack. Yumi rotated and tried to hit the side of the dummy with a slice of the shinai. She came within an inch of the dummy. The tip scathed it but ultimately she missed. She knew that she was close by the whoosh of the shinai. Yumi couldn’t do anything more but hope that this training was going to pay off and that Giglamesh would believe her to be strong enough to continue. The next attack with the reverse shinai was the last one in the four hit series and it was with the reversed shinai.
Dc:4-8 1d20: 7 Times Completed: 11/15
Yumi sidestepped this time. She pretended to duck underneath an attack from the dummy when she did she slide her right leg out to duck down to knee level of the dummy. She didn’t look up at it instead stayed focused on the attack. She used the momentum to keep the shinai and her body moving. She brought the shinai across legs of the dummy. This was the first attack of the four attack series that connected. The shinai ripped the material of the dummy’s legs. Now the torso was torn in several places and the legs were. It looked pretty beat up now. Yumi waited a brief moment before standing up after the series of attacks. She needed to catch her breath after working so hard. She slowly stood up breathing harder than she had ever before. Wielding these shinai and attacking was definitely a hard task.
I will prove to Giglamesh-sensei that I am worth training.

A slow pace as they both walked. No real need to go quickly or rush. The badlands weren't a place that took kindly to those who moved fast. It was a placed that demanded your respect and your attention or else you'd die even if you stayed within viewing distance of Iwa the entire time.

"A kid and a cat? Good grief..." Complained one of the guards... "This is gonna be a long one..."
