UniKorn Tiger I think I'd rather do that then work 18 hours a day nopenname... I can understand that. I don't work a physically hard job and it's located in my apartment (I'm an apartment manager) but it's always one damn thing or another, and I'm starting to like people, in general, less and less because of the inconsideration around here.

I Ceymore Ratz Thank you. My son is not up yet, so can you explain how I am to change this around. I used a program called photoshop to open the image, then I used Image->Image size, and made it 120xwhatever pixels. Avatars are 120x150, and with constrained proportions, by making it as wide as a gaian avatar, it was slightly taller. Just the proportions it was drawn by, I suppose.

ai ai ai ! I am finding these holidays such a drag! Someone recommend a book, or a movie please!!! It's getting a bit tragic- my poor avi has had three haircuts in three days because of it, which is hard on my Gaia wallet. This is the season to be jolly- and to count money to make sure everyone gets a prezzie xd - so I am left to entertain myself (and I don't find me very amusing rolleyes ) plus my friends and family are all still hard at work, being breadwinners as opposed to uni students like me, and Theo is still attending his daycare so as not to lose his placement.............. ai ai ai!
blaugh end whinge, please excuse blaugh off to watch the spin cycle wink

[start] man... work is so taking over my life.. mad [/rant] lol.. well, i'll do it later. time for me to go to bed... but, good news with naaman... catching him saying a lot more stuff and he recognizes some letters now... whereas he only acknowledged numbers before.

Papers and my costume shop currently consume my life... That and Christmas gifties... We're so tight on money this year that I'm handmaking gifts for everyone. Better on our budget, but it takes a lot of time. I'm working on a 10-page paper for one class, a Meier Link costume from Vampire Hunter D2: Bloodlust, and an afghan for my in-laws. sweatdrop Trying not to lose sanity as well... only partially succeeding. There are other things I need to be doing too...
On an upside, my avi's no longer nakey... I dropped out of that contest because my avi was looking so depressing. I needed something more cheerful, so several thousand gold later, I have a much brighter and holiday-ish avi. heart I'm also done with classes (even though there's still 2 papers left to turn in--at least one of those is finished)...
On a side note: My soon to be 2-year old (turns 2 Dec. 20) is going through a massive stripping phase. We're trying to direct him to the bathroom since he does seem to be interested in going to the potty like his brother... Still he doesn't quite have the concept, but if he insists on being naked, it would be nice if he could learn bladder control for when he doesn't have a diaper on. His current favorite time to undress is when he goes down for a nap. He gets up a few minutes into it, strips, and then goes to sleep, and he always waits till I settle in to do something aside from watch/check on him... Since he's in a toddler bed, he ends up making a really nasty mess all over his room. gonk Any suggestions on ways to get him to keep his clothes on or potty-training children who are too young to effectively communicate...

If he's too young to effectively communicate, he might not be ready to be potty trained. Logan has been interested in the potty for about 6 months now, but not that it's accomplished anything.
He's a horrible stripper! The other night, he took all his clothes off and his diaper and was walking around naked in the living room. I kept telling him to bring me a diaper and he kept saying no. Finally, I told him, "You better not pee on the floor!" and what does he do? He, I swear, purposely peed on the floor. He's been clenching his abdominal muscles lately to get himself to fart and he didn't pee that much on the floor. It was just too comical that he stood there RIGHT as I said it with his wienee in hand.
Although! he did use the potty before we took a bath, it was a small amount and I think he forced it out again. Still, I was really surprised!

xd I do think Luke is too young, but we try to encourage him since he's interested, and I get tired of cleaning his messes up off the floor from where he's taken his diaper off and peed/other on the floor. stressed
