Robin barely managed to finish the run, when she finally managed to make her way back to Tony Tony and Ampersand she fell down to the ground. Laying there Robin tried her best to draw air into her lungs and ignore her limbs that were throbbing in pain. She really hated running, did she mention that? "I did it?" Robin managed to gasp as she grinned at the other two she gave them a shaky thumbs up. Yeah she was sore but she was glad she did it. She had to be strong for her team!
"Robin get up!" Tony barked at Robin looking down at the girl. He was proud of her but he also had an important question to ask her. He watched as the girl pushed herself up from the ground and stood in front of him with a grin on her face. "You managed to get through the run and I am sure you did some thinking on the run. So let me ask you. Why are you doing this?"
A frown appeared on Robins face as she thought for a moment. Tony Tony was right, even if she had hated the running she had spent some time thinking. Looking down Robin spotted her pokemon around her, looking up at their trainer some of them tired and some of them not so much. " I am doing it so I can be stronger so that they can accomplish their dreams." She said after a moment a grin on her face.
Robin's grin was not to last for very long, apparently that wasn't the correct answer and Robin was punished justly. Tony's fist connected with Robin's face just a moment afterwards knocking her down to the ground. "Is that all you learned! Is that it! Do you have no ambition for your life! You could do so much more with yourself! Only thinking of your team? Help everyone! You need to be strong enough to help anyone who needs help!"
At Robin's side her pokemon made to leap forward to defend their trainer but they were waved off by their trainers shaky hand. Picking herself up Robin stared up at Tony with wide blue eyes as she took in his words. Help everyone? Was she really strong enough to do that? She barely thought she could help her team accomplish their dreams. All she thought of herself as was a person to take them around, they were the ones who did everything, she just gave them the opportunity to do it. Was that what she was training for? Not to give them the chance to come true, maybe she could get strong enough to make sure their dreams came true? Yeah. She liked the sound of that. "I am training to make sure that everyones dream comes true!"
An irritated look appeared on Tony's face as he stared down at Robin. "Wrong!" He yelled as he punched her in the face once more knocking her down. "Think harder girl! You have a great talent in you and I won't see you waste it!

Kilik dug his foot into the dirt. Barry was on the other side of the field, smirking at him. He seemed pretty smug about winning the match, though he was certain that that wasn't going to happen. Kilik clenched his fist and looked at the oncoming Starly then over at Chimchar. The ape narrowly dodged the attack and then noticed a strange Pokemon appear next to his trainer. His tail flared up when he saw the Pokemon and he almost went to attack it before he saw Kilik's hand keep him in place. I can't help but feel that this Alakazam is...familiar to me somehow. Certainly, they'd met before but the boy couldn't quite place where. Yet the Psychic-type definitely knew who Kilik was.
"Wha! Hey!!" Barry stomped his foot angrily, "If that's your Alakazam, it certainly can't come into battle right now!"
"If this was my Alakazam," Kilik said, "do you think that my Chimchar would be freaking out?" He looked over at Treecko and Chimchar, who were immediately recalled back into their Pokeballs by the Psychic-type standing in front of him. He then felt a warm sensation come over his entire body. "Guess I'll see ya later, Barry." He nodded at Oracle and was suddenly whisked away from the battlefield. As he was being pulled through the field of psychic energy, he felt a strange bubbling sensation in his stomach.
Then he came into contact with the floor, landing on his feet harshly. Kilik fell to his knees, clutching his stomach, trying his best not to heave his lunch. His vision was blurry as he slowly tried to stand back up. He could see Mike sitting, looking rather blankly at nothing. Then there was Sasha and...Nina? It felt like an eternity since he'd seen the latter. It also felt substantially warmer than anywhere he'd ever been before. The smell of volcanic ash was unmistakable. While it certainly wasn't Mt. Chimney (he'd know that smell anywhere), the scent was still fresh in his mind from when he first captured Koffing here. He was back on Cinnabar Island. Though why he was here, and why a few of his friends were too, he had no earthly idea. Finally feeling back to normal, Kilik cleared his throat. "Alright," he said glancing at Sasha and Nina. "Which of you would like to explain what's going on?" He looked down at Mike. His friend certainly had seen better days.
Something told him that this wasn't just a casual party.

It was as though he was having a nightmare. A cold, terrifying nightmare from which he could not awaken. Jaeshan struggled to keep the panic from his chest, and his head above the water, both tasks quickly becoming increasingly difficult as the seconds ticked by. He knew he hadn't been in the water for very long, yet at the same time it felt like an eternity; the fact that he was a very strong swimmer didn't seem to be helping him out at all. Shoulda worn a life jacket, he thought stupidly, as now his lungs and nostrils burned from the seawater as it mercilessly forced its way inside, depriving him of precious, needed oxygen. He coughed, forcing out a mouthful of water only to suck another one back in, and a sudden flare of panic welled up in him and he faltered, his head slipping below the surface of the water as a result.
He was suddenly angry with himself for not having any of his Pokemon with him, though none of them would have really been able to help. Only Squirtle was a Water-type, though his phobia of the water would have been more of a hindrance than helpful, and mentally Jaeshan chuckled at the irony of his situation, fully sympathizing with the turtle Pokemon's fear now. With a grunt he kicked his legs and forced himself to the surface once again, coughing and sputtering as he gasped for air. Thinking about his Pokemon had made him wonder about any nearby sea-dwelling Pokemon, though he quickly realized that it would be impossible for him to spot any aquatic Pokemon at this time of night, even for those few fleeting seconds when the moon and stars were not obscured by thick, dark clouds.
Time continued to slip past him, and yet he continued to struggle to stay afloat. His arms and legs ached furiously from the exertion, though by this point his mind had gone almost completely blank save for a few simple thoughts, as he was starting to feel like giving up was his only option. I'm gonna die, he thought, causing another jolt of panic and fear to shoot through him. It also didn't help that everything around him was still pitch black and he could see nothing, except for the occasional twinkle of a stray star in the sky, but then again, his vision had become so blurred that it was possible he was hallucinating, and not really seeing anything at all. Refusing to give up, he began to flail his already exhausted arms and legs around as though it might actually help, but his hopes for survival were fading fast, just like his energy. He tried to call out for help, but the salt water had left his throat dry and raspy; he never thought he could be so thirsty while he was surrounded by so much water. He could feel his stamina petering out once more, and though he tried to force himself to keep swimming, to keep flailing, anything to keep himself above the water, he just didn't have the energy to do so anymore. Never before in his life did he feel so helpless, so alone. He was too tired to even cry, and he closed his eyes as he felt himself beginning to sink down into the inky blackness once again. This is it, he thought numbly, no longer feeling the ache of exhaustion, the cold, or even the fear. He felt strangely peaceful yet it didn't seem to bother him anymore. It's just like going to sleep...

Crenu nodded as he watched Fearow preform another Pursuit attack, it was reassuring to watch this magnificent bird execute commands. Sure there was some roughness to his attacks that he could do without, but at least Fearow was confident. Fearow was pretty good and he knew it himself, being a magnificent golden color, he always held himself in high regards. All the other Spearow in his flock, no in the world, were second rate compared to him. And now that he was a Fearow it made him even more important. In fact the color didn't even matter, he was just as magnificent and superior without it. But being born that way was just natures way of letting everyone know he was that much better than them. And he was glad to have been caught by a trainer that understood this. He wasn't so keen on the idea as one as glorious as he being under the command of another and being told what to do, but for now this was alright. Something about this trainer's eyes...it was hard to explain but Fearow couldn't look Crenu in the eyes without a deep discomfort that made it difficult to want to cross him. Either way at least he recognized his obvious power and asked only that he used it to crush other less worthy pokemon. Fearow didn't know why Crenu even bothered raising the other five, he was all that was required to succeed. No matter. Fearow beat his wings and hovered in place for a bit before diving back into his next attack.
"Very good. But it's to simple. Fearow what's the best way to make your attacks more effective? To get more power out of them?" Fearow finished his last attack before landing on the ground, cocking his head to the side as he thought about it. "It's simple Fearow. It's a principal that one of our most powerful attacks incorporates. Drill Peck. You don't know this move yet, you're not yet powerful enough to use it, but by adding a spinning drilling motion to certain attacks can increase their effectiveness. A drilling motion adds a piercing effect that is key to making precise pin pointed strikes and will allow you to break through defenses and attacks. It's not a perfect guarantee of course, you won't break through everything just by adding a spin to your moves but it can help in some cases. Not to mention that the added swirling effect helps give it some more appeal. I want you to try it now with your Pursuit. Now go." He said simply, though Fearow was still giving him an odd look. Sounded reasonable...but could he do it? Wait, of course he could. He was magnificent after all right? Fearow got back into the air, taking a few moments to think about how he was going to do this. Fly down, use Pursuit, spin. Ok. Fearow shot down towards the ground at angle, straightening out as he got closer to the ground. The dark aura enveloping his body as he preformed the attack. "Alright Fearow spin." Fearow looked straight ahead, tucking his wings in and pulling them back as much as he could to make his body streamline as he started to turn to the side. But the maneuver proved to much for Fearow and he ended up losing control. Veering off to the side Fearow spun out of control and crashed into the ground hard. Slowly getting up he took a moment to check himself over, feeling undignified as he glanced over to Swinub and Froslass who had been watching this moment of failure. This was wrong! How could this happen? He was great and wonderful and full of unmeasurable skill, how could he not pull off this aerial maneuver!? No this would not do, he had to get this perfect.

Groaning Robin rubbed her throbbing cheek and picked herself up standing in front of Tony again with a determined look on her face. She had talent? Frowning Robin thought for another moment. She really didn't know what she could do. She wanted to help her team. "I dunno. What can I do?"
Looking down at Robin, Tony Tony crossed his arms over his chest and after a moment decided to explain it to the girl. She was pretty dumb even if she had a lot of spirit. "Robin you have the ability to help people just by being around them. You cheered up grumpy little Ampersand there. The reason you need to get stronger is because you have a lot of challenges to face in your life. If you continue on the path you are going you will come across dangerous people who will try to harm you and the people you care for. You need to be stronger so that you can protect people who need your protection. That is what you do with power Robin."
Wide blue eyes stared up at Tony Tony as the words sank into her mind. Protect people? "I need to be Superman?" Robin said after a moment.
"Yes, you need to be like Superman. You need to protect people no mater how big or how small they are, no mater if they are good or bad. Though if they are bad that doesn't mean you can't send to prison afterwards. Either way you have something I haven't seen in a long time girl. You have the heart and the will to protect people for the simple reason that its the right thing to do." Tony explained to the girl as he looked down at her. As she listened to his words he couldn't help but be proud as he saw herself like the idea of protecting people. She had a good heart, there wasn't a trace of greed or selfishness in there. Robin Knight was exactly what the world needed at this moment, it was now Tony, and Ampersand's to a lesser extent, to shape her into someone strong enough for the world to rely on.
To the side, far enough so that Robin's pokemon were still awake Ampersand watched the bunch with interest. He had wondered why Tony seemed so gungho about helping Robin. The man hadn't wanted to help train him for the longest time, so he had been wondering why he had agreed to help Robin so easily. Well now he had it. It seemed like Tony was going to try to make up for his past crimes by making the girl a force of good. Looking at Robin, he couldn't help but smile when he saw her, she had been punched hard, Tony never pulled his punches, and she didn't even seem to noticed that her face probably had to be aching like mad as she stared up at the man in front of her with wonder in her eyes. Heh, maybe Tony was right, by putting Robin out in the world with the training to protect herself and those around her maybe some of his conscious would be sated.
Being a superhero? Robin really liked the sound of that. She really, really did. Unable to keep the grin from her face, even though it hurt to do so, Robin held her hand out to Tony her eyes shining with her new dream. "Thank you for telling me what my path should be Tony! Or should I say Master now?"
Laughing Tony reached out and grabbed Robin outstretched hand in his own and the two of them gripped each others hands hard. "Robin I would be honored to have you be my student!"

Xipil disappeared once more, leaving the Drowzee alone on the battlefield. It looked around, searching for it's enemy. Xipil struck from behind, slashing her claws at the Drowzee's head. It took the blow without a protest, too tired, and fell to the ground unconscious. Eztli quickly recalled Xipil, and without a word, gathered up her things and started walking once more. She would not wait for Scott. She noticed the sky had darkened during the battle, and she grew uneasy. She hoped she would make it to Vermillion City in time for the ferry to Cinnabar, and then onwards to Sinnoh. She had to find Mixcoatl there, and save him. As she walked on, she thought about what she would do once she arrived in Sinnoh. She did not know where to even start looking for her brother, since it was obvious this organization he was part of was secret. It would not be easy to find. She rubbed her temples, then moved on to a more pertinent subject. She glanced backwards at the boy who sedately followed along, apparently in shock. The battle and Eztli's harsh style must have deglamorized being a Trainer for him. She nodded in satisfaction, and turned her attention forward once more. Once in Vermillion, he would not be allowed to follow her any longer. She would do whatever it took to get him off her back, but she could not drag him into this.
==========
Soon enough, the lights of Vermillion came into view. The city itself was rather small, but Eztli could already see the impressive harbor it boasted. As she entered the city, she passed by a large cave opening, and another sleeping Snorlax. 'At least this one wasn't in the way...There is no Jeremiah to help me out here...' She stepped onto the sidewalk along the street, and aimed for the center of the city. The Pokecenter was sure to be there. She saw the red roof come quickly into view, and she ducked into the Center, not caring if Scott had kept up. It would be easier for both of them if he got lost. Then she wouldn't have to send him away. She did feel a bit sorry for him, but that couldn't affect her journey. As she handed over her Pokeballs to the Nurse, she noticed Scott taking a seat on a couch a few steps away. Eztli sighed and went to join him. He looked at her questioningly, sensing she had something on her mind. She opened her mouth to speak, but he cut her off.
"You want me to leave, don't you?" Eztli looked at him in surprise. This Scott was quiet, and sounded unsure of himself, much different from the one she had met outside of Fuschia, loud and crass. He hung his head. "I know. I realized it when I was watching you battle. You're a loner, you don't like anybody. You are probably very annoyed with me. I should leave you before you snap my neck." Eztli almost thought he was being sarcastic, but he sounded convinced. She opened her mouth to tell him that he was wrong, but then she shut it. Here was the perfect excuse, and besides, if she gained a reputation as being an anti-social loner, then she wouldn't have to deal with nosy people. So instead she nodded to him, frowning. She wasn't exactly sure how she was supposed to play her part. But she still felt she should give the kid some kindness.
"You are right. You do annoy me, and several times I wanted to drop you in the middle of the ocean. But I won't. I'm no murderer...Hey, before I leave, I'll help you catch your first Pokemon, alright? That way you can make it back to Celadon." Scott nodded, a wary excitement building behind his eyes. Eztli stood, and crossed to the computer. She checked the ferry schedule, and found she could just make it in time to Cinnabar to catch the Sinnoh ferry. Relieved, she gathered up her things and bought a green tea from the vending machine. She sipped at it, sitting on a couch far away from any people. 'Mixcoatl...Where are you? What have you gotten yourself into?' When her name was called, she stood and stretched. She picked up her Pokeballs, then, on a lark, researched the type of Pokemon found in the area. She closed the window, then left the Center, not wanting to blow her cover by making sure Scott followed. She headed north, to Route 6. As the tall grass grew up around her once more, she began her search. She wanted to get more training in for Zolin, which meant finding a Magnemite. But those were pretty rare in the area, so she told Scott what she wanted and sent him in the other direction, telling him to yell to her if he found a Magnemite, or to scream if he got into trouble. He bounded off, eager to find his future Pokemon. She watched him go, almost sadly. 'Mix...I wish this could have been us. You watching over me as I caught my first Pokemon. But you were always gone, training your own Pokemon or visiting Dad. I instead had to find my way around a bunch of manly men, earning their respect by learning not to cry when I burnt my hands. You gave me my education, and my respect for our past, but you didn't give me any love. So why am I so desperate to save you?' She closed her eyes, pondering these thoughts detatchedly, no emotion behind them, just logical, rational thinking. She would not get caught up in emotion for someone who had abandoned her for six years.
==================
Mixcoatl sat in his cell, his head in his hands. It couldn't really be called a "cell", seeing as it had all the comforts of home. A plush, full-sized bed, a fully stocked fridge, a desk, pencil, paper, even a laptop, though it only had the default office programs installed. They had even left him his only Pokeball, Quetzal still inside it. He guessed that was more because he couldn't release the Fire Lizard without being crushed then actual kindness. He thought about his predicament. The only way out was suicide, which he could commit any number of ways, but he wouldn't. He still held a faint hope that Eztli would come for him, though how she would he had no idea. He didn't even know where he was, only that it was somewhere in Sinnoh, and every so often he could hear waves crashing, though that was possibly his imagination. He sure hoped so, he hated the water. As he thought more about how exactly Eztli could get him, the less sure he became. This all depended on whether Eztli had heard him, on whether she could make it to Sinnoh on her own, on whether she could locate Doulos, and finally on whether or not Eztli even wanted to save him. He understood that Eztli probably didn't like him very much right now, possibly even hated him. He had abandoned her for six years, wallowing in sorrow and self-pity, not thinking for one second about the little 9 year old girl he had left in the care of strangers. And even while he was with her, he hadn't been a very good brother. He had ignored her when she asked what he was doing all the time, how was he, could he play with her. He even flat out refused to show her his Pokemon, or help her catch one of her own. He was only her teacher, and she his student. That was the way he wanted it to stay, wanting to sever the last tie he had to his family. But he could not hate his own flesh and blood. Eztli definitely could, but Mixcoatl could not, would not. He leaned back against the hard concrete wall. No matter how much they had tried to spruce the place up for the former agent, a Doulos prison cell was still cold and unforgiving. Mix felt around his neck, where the tip of a cut was still bleeding. He could feel it all down his back, one of his punishments, but he was in no pain. He was trained not to feel pain anymore. At least physical pain. He still felt a deep-rooted emotional pain, loss, pity, confusion, and above all regret. He knew what he had done in the past was wrong, he knew exactly what he deserved. The lashings he had received earlier were only the tip of the iceberg. he thought back to some of his previous missions.
'"Mixcoatl, your last mission went well. The man will speak no more of this agency," the man before him said. What he said was the truth, Mixcoatl had cut out his tongue. And to be sure, he had severed several of the mans fingers to prevent him from writing it down. Mixcoatl could still feel the blood on his hands. But he said nothing, knowing it had been for the good of Doulos. The man before him leaned back in his office chair. "Your next assignment should be easier. All you need to do is infiltrate one office, and burn it. Should be easy enough with that Charizard of yours. Here is the address." That was all Mixcoatl ever received. An address. No name, no history, nothing that was not important. It was best not to see the targets as real people. He noted the address as being in Celadon City, not far from his current location. He nodded to the man, then stood and exited the room. He quickly pulled his Pokemon team together, clicking the Pokeballs on his belt one by one. 'Tropius, Metagross, Kabutops, Ampharos, Jynx, and...Quetzal,' he said aloud. He paused on Quetzal's name. The only one he had nicknamed, Quetzal was the only Pokemon on his team that did not battle on these missions. He was there to burn and destroy, then Fly Mix out of there. He had never tried to rebel against him, and had always happily complied with whatever Mix threw at him. Maybe that was why Mix treated him better then the rest of his team. Quetzal was never subjected to the painful stress tests, ice baths, electrical shocks and heat rooms. And Quetzal was the only Pokemon Mix had ever broken the rules for. Mix had detoured after accomplishing a mission to nab a Fly HM for the newly-evolved Charizard. Those silly Badges meant nothing to him, he could use any HM he wanted. But he was prohibited from stealing something that did not pertain to the mission. Mix had received a harsh punishment of lashings, but he hadn't had his fingertips severed. The boss had seen an upside to his theft, allowing Mix more movement then any of the other agents. He had immediately promoted him after administering the 7 lashings.'
A knock on the door brought Mix back to reality. He knew the knock was only a courtesy. For a barbaric undercover organization, they had surprisingly good manners and hospitality. A contradiction of itself. The agent who had kidnapped Mix unlocked the door, and strode inside.
"Boss Andrew would like to see you now." Mix was still bewilderd to hear his former bosses name. How could someone with a name as plain as Andrew be the head of something as brilliant yet as dangerous as Doulos?

Train's eyes opened a bit and she stared at the light coming in around the shade that covered the window of the room. She yawned largely and stretched, turning onto her back. She reluctantly opened her eyes again and turned to the other side, greeted by a very bored looking Pikachu, causing her to assume he'd already been awake for at least a little bit by now. She patted him on the head before turning back over and closing her eyes again, laying there peacefully for a few short moments before finally opening them again and sighing. She pushed the covers back and sat up, stretching again and then letting her hands drop into her lap as she pulled her legs up to sit indian-style.
After another few short moments, she finally put her feet over the edge of the bed and stood up. She dropped lazily to a crouch beside her bag and pulled out her regular clothes, going into the bathroom to change quickly and wash up. Once she was finished, she shouldered her bag, running a hand through her hair now that it was nice and brushed before exiting the room along with her Pikachu.
She walked down the hall to the door that led back to the main room of the Pokémon Center, glancing around for Carlos while heading to an empty seat in case he wasn't out of his room yet.+=+=+=+ Leon all but blatantly ignored the other people on the bridge, giving a simple, "No," to the ones that challenged him, though one stopped him by grabbing his shoulder and insisted that he had to battle once challenged. Leon had then proceeded to stop momentarily and, without turning to look at the guy, had simply informed that he hadn't made eye contact and therefore had no obligation to accept the challenge. Without another word he had begun walking once again, tugging his shoulder from the guy's grip and making his way to the end of the bridge.
From there it was actually a pretty short walk to Rustboro, at least compared to the other parts of the route. Soon he'd entered the town and glanced around, searching for the Pokémon Center that was in every town or city.

Laughing unable to hold back her joy when Tony accepted her as his student Robin turned towards her pokemon and gave them a thumbs up. "Ha! I have a trainer now to guys! We all gotta work hard together so we can all accomplish our dreams!" Wow she had a dream now! Robin had never had a goal before, no reason to get stronger herself. Now like the rest of her team she had a goal to accomplish to.
"Well then. Now that you have a goal for your future I am going to give you the rest of the night off. Your training though will begin at the crack of dawn tomorrow though. Meet me here at 5AM Robin!" Tony barked at the girl even if he did have a grin on his face. Robin just grinned at him before saluting and she and the rest of her team scurried off to do... whatever. Turning towards Ampersand Tony Tony gave him a small smile. "Your going to be helping me out with her training to you know."
Shrugging his shoulders, Ampersand didn't really mind helping train Robin all to much. "Thats fine with me. The faster we train her the faster she can get me to Snowpoint. What are we going to do about her pokemon though. I can't be there while you are training them."
"Just leave that to me." Tony said with a grin as he watched Robin put her pokemon into their pokeballs.
While her Master and Ampersand talked Robin was thanking her pokemon for their hard work before putting them inside of their pokeballs. When all of them were back inside Robin grinned over at Luffy who looked happy but tired, exactly of what she felt like. "How about we take a shower before hitting the sack Luffy?" Robin asked just before she was interrupted by her phone. "Ah hello?" Robin answered not looking to see who was calling her.
"Oh Robin sweetie so glad I could catch you before you went to bed." The voice on the other end of Robin's phone was a very familiar if excentric voice.
"Charlie! How are you doing?"Brightening up upon hearing her new friends voice Robin felt a small wave of energy coming back to her.
"Oh girl I am doing so good! It is all thanks to you to! Because of your spectacular job of catching that one crook in my outfit my business has been booming! So many people are buying I have sold out of clothing! I have to make a bunch more! I wanted to tell you that thanks to all of your hard work I am going to make you two new outfits! Don't even think of refusing me I want to do it for my favorite customer. Your in Sinnoh right? I am going to make you a winter outfit for over there since I hear it can be quite chilly! The other one is just going to be a big surprise! Oh I can't wait to get started on them girl!"
Blinking a few times Robin tried her best to process everything that Charlie told her. "Ah I don't have any problem with it. If its ok with you that is."
"Oh don't worry girl I will make you look fabulous!" Charlie just laughed and the two of them said goodbye and goodnight before hanging up on each other.

"What made you want to come back to Mount Moon? I would have thought nearly being blown to bits would scare a person away for good."
The familiar blonde girl had to avert her gaze as her face went bright pink. "I came to find a present for a friend," she stammered. "I promised him I'd bring him back a Moon Stone, but I kind of forgot after all that happened yesterday."
"Ooh," he replied with a small smile. "Is he your boyfriend or something?"
The girl's face turned from pink to scarlet. "No! Nothing like that! I-I..." she trailed off, and stared at her feet. "I just promised him, that's all."
He gave a small laugh. "Well, it turns out you're in luck," he smiled. "I know a spot that's usually bursting with Moon Stones. We also may get lucky and see some Clefairy dancing around. They're usually very shy, but they can be pretty friendly once they get used to you."
"I'd love to see one," the girl replied happily. "I've heard they're extremely cute." She paused, looking at her new friend with excited, bright blue eyes. "You mean you'd be willing to take me?"
He nodded eagerly. "Yup. I have no problem. You're very nice, your Pokemon are great, and I'm always up for a little adventure. Just beware that there will be lots of strong, wild Pokemon in the area. Not just Zubat and Geodude, but their evolved forms, too."
"No problem," the blonde gave a thumbs up and grinned broadly. "If Ariel can take down Brock's Onix, I'm sure she'll have an easy time with some wild, untrained Graveler."
"Alright. But seeing as it's getting dark, we should camp here for the night."
He was jolted out of the hazy dream as a wave of warm water sloshed over him, and he pushed himself up onto his hands and knees, coughing. He had no idea where he was or how he'd gotten there; all he knew was that he was wet, exhausted, and that his body seemed to hurt everywhere all at once. His eyes felt as though they were on fire and it hurt to try and open them, but he forced them open anyway and slowly crawled forward, until he was out of the shallows. He hadn't even noticed he was missing a shoe, and that one of the legs of his jeans had been shredded almost to the knee, nor did he notice that the sun was just starting to rise up over the horizon. He gave a labored, painful sigh and collapsed in the sand, too exhausted to remain awake any longer.

Keegan continued to enjoy his smoke as he listened to Sabrina's explanation, finding it somewhat interesting that whenever he closed his eyes, he could practically see the story unfolding before him in his mind. It was quite incredible, everything that had happened to Sabrina and Nina, but even he couldn't help but be glad that the elder psychic was alive and well, as he remembered just how close she and Nina were. He looked over at her as she finished, raising an eyebrow as she sent out a rather powerful-looking Alakazam. In the blink of an eye, it teleported away, and he sighed, lighting up a second cigarette as his first one had done nothing to relieve his already-quaking nerves, watching as Blaine and Sabrina went off to another room to discuss... something.
He took in a shaky drag of it as Mike had begun to speak now, and he looked over towards his former best friend, not entirely surprised by the words that were coming out of the boy's mouth. He scoffed and flicked a bit of ash to the ground, finally jumping down from the platform and making his way across the rocky floor. A part of him sympathized with Mike, and even felt afraid for him, but the other part couldn't help but be actually amused. He stopped only one foot away from Mike, looking down at him with a stoic expression. "So, you went and died, and were revived by Moltres, huh?" he asked, unable to hold back a bit of a laugh. "You never were the type to do anything the normal way." He laughed again and ruffled Mike's hair, though it was not like it made any difference with the state it was already in.
"For what it's worth, I'm glad you're not dead," he added finally, before heading off in the direction Portabello and Nitro had taken Kasiya and Mitsu. "I'm gonna go check up on the girls." He looked over his shoulder as the Alakazam had suddenly reappeared, bringing a somewhat sickened-looking Kilik with him. "It's a full house now," he mumbled, shaking his head. He took another drag as he made his way down the corridor, and after a few wrong turns finally found the correct room. "Knock, knock," he called out, peeking in the room. "Everything okay in here?" ===== Miharu continued to quietly follow along behind Sam and Kya, stopping every so often to make sure the two HM discs were still in her pocket. Once they'd arrived at their destination, she couldn't help but study the house, and as she looked towards Kya to say goodbye, two small boys came tearing out towards her. She smiled meekly and offered a small wave, unable to stop the sudden pang of jealousy that stabbed unmercifully at her stomach. "They're... cute," she said, nodding at them, and she did mean it. Even still, she couldn't help but wonder what her siblings would have been like if she had them.
She involuntarily took a step back when Sam and Kya hugged, as she never really had been much of the hugging type. "Uh, yeah, we'll have to hang out again sometime," she said, somewhat uncertainly. The whole not-having-friends thing made it difficult to do the saying-goodbye thing, as she didn't really know what she should be saying. "Take care of yourself, and call us if you need us, alright?" she said finally, offering her hand for a friendly handshake.
((I really cannot put into words how sorry I am for making everyone wait on me. Real life got busy and it got in the way... so yeah, really, REALLY sorry 'bout that... please don't kill me. whee ))

((Tis okay with me Andy, I finally got around to other posts!))
Kya smiled, put one of her brothers down, and took Miharu's hand, hoping her eyes didn't show the good-natured pity she felt for her. She wanted desperately to pull her into a hug, to show Miharu that she wasn't alone, but she figured Miharu would be uncomfortable, and she didn't want to leave her on those terms. Kya looked at Miharu, wanting to make sure she understood. "I will most deifinitely call you. And not just if I need you. It'd be nice to just speak with a friend, you know?"
Sam stepped back from the scene. She felt that this was so abrupt...She didn't know what to make of it.
Kya released Miharu's hand, and picked her brother up once more. "Well...bye guys. Say bye!" Her brothers waved excitedly, and Kya turned and took them into the house. Her parents were now standing on the front step. Sam saw Kya's shoulders hunch forward just a little as she approached them, but she perked up as her parents enfolded her into a family hug. Sam turned away, and glanced to Miharu, her voice quiet.
"Now what?"

It was a beautiful morning in Sandgem town, the Starly were singing and the sun was shining brightly but the cool sea breeze kept it at a perfect temperature. It was a wonder that this small town wasn't more densely populated, or rather it wasn't because a certain moody professor owned most of the land in the surrounding area. That certain moody professor was currently taking his morning stroll down the sandy beaches of Sandgem. After yesterday dealing with annoying children and the loud, if friendly Robin Knight. Today Rowan was just looking for a nice relaxing day, maybe he would catch up on some paperwork.
With those thoughts in his mind Rowan was about to head back to his lab when he spotted something on the shore. Raising an eyebrow Rowan wondered what the beach goers were doing here so early. Shrugging it off Rowan started to head back to his lab, something though was niggling the back of his mind. Turning back Rowan located the dark lump that was lying on the beach. Now that he was actually looking though there did seem to be something wrong. If they were beach goers then there would be a lot more noise and more splashing around. Instead the figure just seemed to be laying there. Sighing Rowan headed over to the figure in the sand. Upon reaching the person Rowan took in the raged and torn up fairly young looking man.
Reaching forward with his cane Rowan poked the kid in the side nudging him a little. "Hey kid. What happened to you?" He muttered before resigning himself to another day full of annoying children. Bending over he grabbed the kids arm and sighing to himself, his suit was going to get seawater and sand all over it, he slung the kids arm over his shoulder. "My life just keeps getting better and better." He muttered. Slowly the two of them made their way to Rowans large laboratory.
~~~~~~~~
With her phone call over Robin and Luffy headed inside of the large pokemon center. Not wanting to fall asleep all sweaty and gross Robin and Luffy headed off towards the bathrooms. Grabbing a fluffy town Robin stepped into the womans locker room and putting her stuff in a locker she stripped down. Not really caring that this was a public shower or if there were other people in there Robin headed over to one of the shower stalls. Turning the water on she waited for it to get warm, at her side Luffy had stripped out of his vest and hat and soon the two of them were washing up in a lather of body wash and warm water.
Showers had to be the best thing ever invented. When Robin exited the stall she felt better then ever. The soreness in her muscles had eased and all she needed was a good nights sleep. Drying herself off, and Luffy at the same time rubbing him until he was full of static cling. Brushing her teeth before changing into her pj's Robin, grabbing her stuff and a spare blanket and pillow she and Luffy headed over to one of the available couches and the two plopped down on it. The two of them settled themselves down, Robin set her phone to wake her up twenty minutes before her scheduled work out time. That taken care of the two of them drifted off into a deep and energy renewing slumber.
The two trainers entered a small, bare room, a single boulder serving as the only means of decoration. "It's a dead end," the blonde girl said after a few seconds, disappointment clear in her voice.
"Hmm..." he was lost in thought for a second, and he looked around the small room, not convinced it truly was a dead end. "We should be well inside Mount Moon by now, so the passage may be closed off..." he mused aloud, making his way towards the medium-sized rock that cleverly disguised itself as part of the wall. He examined it for a moment before placing his hands on it and giving it a shove. It gave way fairly easily, revealing a hole that was just big enough for them to crawl through. "After you, Pikachu," he said, chuckling. The small yellow mouse nodded bravely and went in first, using Flash as she did so to light her way. A small, grey, canine-like Pokemon with black markings on its face followed behind after the Pikachu, and he followed along after the pooch, dropping down to all fours to do so. "Coming?" he asked, turning back to look at the girl before disappearing inside the hole.
"But I don't like small spaces," she answered in a quiet voice. She got down on her hands and knees as well and followed after the two Pokemon and the boy, hoping it wasn't that long of a crawl.
After about ten or so feet of crawling, the narrow passage opened up into another small room, and he stood up, brushing the dust from the knees of his khaki pants. "How about another Flash, Shocker?" he asked, looking around for the small electric mouse in the darkness.
"Pika!" the Pikachu replied happily, and her cheeks flared brightly and gave off a tremendous amount of light, just as the girl entered the room.
"Gah, my eyes!" she wailed, squeezing them shut and bringing her hands up to rub them. "Great timing," she muttered, unable to see anything but small bright dots.
Drat, the boy thought to himself, looking around as the girl continued to rub at her eyes and scold the Pikachu for temporarily blinding her. The Clefairy sure cleaned this place out of Moon Stones before they left. He frowned before making a snap decision, and he quickly strode across the room, pulling a small, glittering stone from the side pouch on his backpack as he did so, and with one quick glance back at the blonde girl he quickly bent down and tucked it safely against the wall. A thin smile started to spread across his lips as he walked over to the blonde girl but he managed to suppress it. "Are you alright?" he asked in a concerned tone. "That Flash went off right in your face." He didn't see the look his canine Pokemon was currently giving him, which was one that clearly stated 'You have got to be kidding me!'
"Yeah, I'm okay," she said, blinking over and over again until the spots faded, and she looked up at him with a small smile, which faded when she saw how empty the room appeared to be. "So, is this it?"
"Yeah," he said, quickly feigning disappointment. "The Clefairy cleared out when the Rockets attacked, and it looks as if they hadn't been back since."
"All this way for nothing?" she asked, her disappointment clearly genuine.
"I'm afraid so," he sighed, shrugging. "You can have a look around if you want to, but I doubt there's anything here," he added, hoping he was being subtle enough. The pooch Pokemon rolled his eyes and shook his head. The Pikachu, meanwhile, hopped up onto the girl's shoulder, her ears twitching intently. "Just let me know when you're ready to leave." He couldn't help but let his eyes wander over to the spot where he had hidden the Moon Stone,
"I guess we can go," she said, giving the room a quick once-over. She had been about to say something else when her Pikachu began to point and chatter excitedly. The girl gave a questionable "Hmm?" and walked over to the place indicated by the mouse Pokemon. "I can't believe it!" she cried, and he had to make a real effort to wipe the smirk off his face as she reached down to pick up the shiny object. "Look!" She held the Moon Stone up over her head like a first-prize trophy, and she ran back over to his side, beaming brighter than any Flash. "They left one behind!" The excitement in her voice was worth far more than the money he'd shelled out for that thing at the store, and he felt like he'd received a bonus when she flung her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek. "Thank you for bringing me here," she said, stepping back and smiling. "I never would have found a Moon Stone for Mike if it wasn't for you!"
Again, the hazy dream faded from his mind like smoke in a stiff breeze, and he groaned slightly as he felt something hard prodding his side. He was aware of another presence nearby, and the voice he heard confirmed it, even though it sounded far away. The next thing he was aware of was a strong arm grabbing him and pulling him to his feet, and after a moment or so of steadying himself, he felt as though he could walk. "My life just keeps getting better and better," the gruff voice grumbled, and with the older man's help, they started to make progress towards getting off the beach.
"Th-thank you," he rasped hoarsely, but those were the only words he was able to force out. His throat was far too dry and at the moment, the only thing he wanted was a drink of water. He also had no idea where he and the gentleman were heading, but he figured it had to be better than where he'd been lying for the past several hours.
Miharu nodded as Kya shook her hand, and she looked briefly towards the two small boys. "Alright, I'd like that," she said, smiling, though she wasn't sure if it was because she thought she'd made a new friend, or if it was something else. She stepped back as well, taking her place beside Sam, and waved as the girl and her two brothers turned to head back into their house. Miharu felt another wave of jealousy tremble though her at the sight of Kya's parents, but she quickly shook it off and looked back to Sam.
"Whatever you'd like," she answered earnestly. "Whichever gym you want to go to first is fine with me." They started walking away from Kya's house, and Miharu thought back to the HMs in her pocket. "Have you made a choice yet?"
It was a lot easier to get the waterlogged boy to his lab when the other started helping out. The older professor used his cane to open the door and soon the two of them were in the cooler atmosphere of the lab. Setting the boy down onto one of the plastic chairs in the lab, Rowan made sure it was one of the chairs and not a stool, he headed off to the water cooler. Filling one of the small paper cups with water he headed over to where the castaway sat and set the small cup of water down next to him. "Drink up boy. Dehydration isn't good for you and I have some questions for you." Rowan muttered before taking a seat in a chair a little ways away from the other. He must be getting in his old age because his muscles were protesting his little rescue mission. Telling his muscles to shut up, Rowan waited for the other to get situated.
The alarm ringing so early in the morning was not the nicest way to wake up. Robin jumped in surprise before crashing down onto the floor much to the annoyance of the other people trying to sleep. Quickly Robin shut the alarm off and groggily she grabbed her uniform and headed to the bathroom to change, she would wake Luffy up when she had finished. When she reached the bathroom she was stuck with a small problem. She didn't have a sports bra and she was pretty sure she was going to be doing all kinds of active things today. Frowning she looked down at herself before an idea came to her. Didn't a lot of people tape them down when they were working out? Yeah she could do that!
After a quick raid of the medical supplies Robin came back with a few rolls of bandages and a few clips to hold them together. It was a bit difficult since it was her first time but after some fumbling around she managed to tape them down. Grinning to herself as she tied her hair up Robin headed to the kitchen really quick to grab a few banana's for her and Luffy's breakfast.
Packing the rest of her stuff away Robin kicked Luffy effectively waking him up. The sleepy monkey woke up really fast when Robin handed him a few banana's. Figuring that she would only really need her phone and pokeballs Robin put the rest of her stuff in a locker and the two of them headed out into the cool morning. They didn't have a lot of time to make it to the appointed area by that time so they jogged to the clearing from the other night. It was strange to see that such an alive city was so dead so early in the morning.
"Well glad you two could make it in time." Tony joked as he watched the two approach. Behind him Ampersand stood there looking sleepy but still more awake then anyone should look this early in the morning.
"Morning Master! Good morning Ampersand!" Robin greeted cheerfully
