Mekania In other news, I'm learning how to sew clothing. So when I get relatively decent, would anyone in the guild be interested in having me make their OCs clothing (for free)? I'll need the practice because I want to go into costume designing/seamstressing. well, that would be nice xD xD...but materials are onehella expensive >.>...

I'd probably just be going to Wal-mart or somewhere equally inexpensive. I wouldn't be buying imported silk or anything for freebies sweatdrop But otherwise, I wouldn't mind paying for my materials.

Mekania And sex. Mmm. Catagia: it really helps me out more than it's doing anyone else favors. I'm a newbie and I want to do this as my career (and I'm almost 19 too) so it's a bit of a late start. We'll see when the time comes around though heart Better late than never! ^^ It's never too late to do something you'll enjoy (19? Too late? Pssh xd ), I wish you lots of luck with it! Actually I envy you a little...I have always secretly wanted to be able to make clothes but, sadly, my talent with a needle is almost as bad as my talent with a pencil. xd I just don't have the patience for sewing.

Ooh, I'm totally inable to make clothing of any sort. XD
lol, Mek, would you want to attempt something of Rivek's?
Much like J, i can pay in artwise. Or, like, with a combination of that and casholas.... but I don't have many casholas. XD;

Audley Alexandrea Zenne Hello! ._.; I'm not a member of this guild, but I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out IRL pricing for commissions. Nora suggested I ask y'all for help. ^^ Hello Alexandrea (: I always feel a bit nervous offering commission pricing advice to people because, well, obviously, you will know more about it than anyone else. My advice would be to not settle for prices that you ultimately would find not worth your time - I see people do that and they end up resenting commissions, even if they really need to take them. I can't offer much advice beyond that, but I suppose something between $15-$30 for a headshot might be in order - it's a large gap, I know, but I base this solely on my experience of prices other artists charge (looking at other people's rates might give you an idea of what people are willing to pay). Good luck (: Thank you! This is a lot of help. X33!

What do you do when an artist doesn't complete the trade even though the art is finished and has been finished for nearly six months? I sent her a message a couple months ago and she still hasn't completed it.
