Ryka giggled too. "Well, he's got his mind on something for once." Thunder turned around and gave Ryka a nasty stare. Then he ran after Shocker, who was nearing the gate to Saffron. "Hey, aren't you going to challenge Erika?" Ryka questioned.

"Wow, I hope he does soon. I think Aurora will soon too." Ryka replied as Aurora jumped into her hands. She scratched under Aurora's mane, but stopped to think for a second. "If you're going to face Erika, why are we going to Saffron..?"

"Oh.." Ryka replied, still petting Aurora. "Hmm, I was thinking.. I have a bunch of T.M's.. mabye I should teach Aurora one..? Do you think that's a good idea?" She asked Kassie. Aurora was cheerful and smiling from all the attention.

As they exited the West gate, Ryka set Aurora on the ground to play with Ariel, and got her backpack off her back. She dug into it until she found her T.M. case. "I was thinking Attract? That may be good.." She said, looking through all of her T.M's.

Aurora noticed the Vaporeon and walked up to greet it.

Kilik shut his eyes tightly and sat up straight. The pain seemed to increase ten-fold when the water slammed his shoulders. Koga continued to watch from the shore. Flareon made noises as it sat and had the water pouring against it. The boy's black hair stuck to his face. Slowly, he put his hands together. "Flare...flare..." the Pokemon groaned.

"We can get through this, Flareon. It'll take some patience," Kilik explained. The water ran down his stomach in many streams. The waterfall was begining to sound a lot louder with each passing second. Soon, the sound of the Pokemon's moans began to die out.

Alone in her room at the Pokecenter in Cerulean, Jenna was relieved to be inside and dry. Lying on her back under the blankets, she thought of the crazy day she had had. All of her pokemon, including Inferno, were getting treated by Nurse Joy for thier damage taken on the nugget bridge and for sheer exhaustion. Jenna flushed guiltily when she remembered her sneaky and underhanded way of crossing it. Shaking off those feelings yet again by justifying it with the urgency of her 'mission', she snuggled down under the covers and tried to sleep.
After what seemed liked hours of tossing and turning, she opened her eyes and looked at the clock. It had only been a few minutes! Wide awake, Jenna sighed and resigned herself to a sleepless night and got out of bed. Slipping into a pair of spare hospital type pants that the pokecenter had provided as all of her belongings were soaked, she padded quietly out into the main room looking for company.

"Let's go," Kasiya smiled, and led the way towards the West Gate. They had no problems getting through, the guards all knew who Kasiya was now, thanks to the whole Silph Co incident, and they were headed down the road towards Celadon City. It was late afternoon by now, and Kasiya feared she'd have to postpone her battle with Erika until tomorrow, yet again.
