I didn't really think about it until Angel reminded me, but since Tetsu left the lot in front of the apt complex, he passed the barrier, meaning it's gone from his consciousness. Idk if you forgot that, but for all intents and purposes, he has no way of getting back unless A) Lee lets him back in which is unlikely since Tetsu just got mad at Suzume, or B) Hei breaks it apart, which is about as likely as Hibiki giving birth to a porcupine.
Also, Veer, didn't Akane leave the lot as well? He'd have the same problem.
Finally, Cliff, if Lee did not leave the lot, then all his words fell on deaf ears, since they would be gone from Tetsu's consciousness just the same. Considering it's his barrier, it'd be fine if he stepped out and then adjusted it to let himself back in a few minutes later.
Not trying to be a nazi, just playing by the rules of the Kido. It's there so they don't get attacked, after all.

Tetsunosuke should get lost, then have to watch on desperately for two hours in the cold while everyone has happy family time, then have a meeting before they leave for SS. So he gets left behind and has to find his own way back, but his Senkaimon lands him in the boondocks of the 79th Rukongai, being chased relentlessly by the man who will be Kenpachi in 100 years.

There's no parking lot, just a "grassy lot" that's directly in front of the apartment complex.
It was my understanding that Akane went for a jog around the block, yea?
