"You do that again, and I'll run away," Kushina muttered from under her arms against the wood, then lifted on hand to point at the folder now lying on Jett's "side" of the desk.

"And it's right there," sitting up right in her seat, Kushina shrugged. "Everything should be in there, but if you find something I've forgotten to explain properly, or something that seems to be missing, just tell me."

"Tell me again why I need to wear this?" Micoi asked as she was half-dragged down a hall by the taller Head Maid. Once again she had been forced into one of those constricting dresses, though this one had a not so deep cleavage as the previous one, instead of something lighter from her wardrobe in Arinas. However, it was still nothing compared to be pushed out of her bed at 7 am. The horror! A maid had come a half an hour earlier and tried to do the same thing... but it had failed miserably.

Now the Queen-to-be was following Neith down the hall on their way to the Dragon Emperor's office for some meeting or what not s**t. Micoi couldn't really care, actually, she was still a bit tired. If these were regular sleeping hours she would be dead before becomign Queen even.

"Because you need to get used to wearing these sorts of clothes. By the time you are more settled in, the pace will slow down. Then you can probably get away with wearing less elaborate things. Now," Neith stopped suddenly, turning to look at Micoi and smooth out her dress. "You are going to go into that office. Lord Jett will be in there. Kushina might be as well, if she managed to wake up by now. You will greet him politely and offer an apology for last night. Not too strongly, mind, as he's the one who should be feeling sorry."

Stepping back, she looked Micoi up and down consideringly, a worried tic etching itself into her brows. "There is an extra room attached to the office. You are to explore both rooms, get used to them. You will be spending a lot of time in both of them. There are pictures of the past rulers in there that you might like to see."

Neith shook her head. "I need to be going. Good luck."

"But I don't feel the least sorry!" Micoi objected loudly, grabbing hold of Neith's sleeve. "And do you really have to go?" she asked, fixing the other with large, pleading eyes. Was this the Queen-to-be or a younger sister not wanting to go to the doctor alone?

Neith smiled wryly, running a hand briefly over her face.

"Just apologize. It will make things easier later. Besides," she leaned in, a devious look on her face, "I never said you had to mean it. We can make him the sorry one later." Straightening back up, Neith continued, "I need to get down to the kitchens. I will walk you in, though. I should probably pick some things up from Lord Jett's office anyway."

Blowing up her cheek, looking much younger than she really was, Micoi pouted. Why did she have to apologize, even if she didn't mean it? You should say you're sorry if you meant it...

Following Neith, still making that face but less obvious about it, the two women walked up to the door leading to the Dragon Emperor's office. When Neith knocked on the door, Micoi finally dropping the face to stand straight, but she still looked a bit miffed.

Neith let both of them in, pushing lightly on the small of Micoi's back to edge her towards the Dragon Lord.

"Excuse me, my Lord, Officer," Neith smiled, the expression more polite than cheerful. Picking up the wastebasket and a few stray sheets of paper, she turned to look pointedly at Micoi.

Jett looked up to smile at him both. Only someone who was able to read expressions very carefully would be able to tell that it was a mask and the true emotion was one of stress and strain. "Did you sleep well last night, Lady Micoi?" It was as if the party had never happened, if one listened to the pleasant tone of his voice. Jett had been trained since birth to hide true emotions, and he was very good at it.

Meeting the Emperor's gaze, though keeping her head tilted an inch downward as if she was forcing her eyes to keep the orbs trained on him, Micoi answered. "I slept--" she stopped for a brief second to give the Head Maid a quick glare, "a little... too little. Your hours are murder," she mumbled the last under her breath, not really meanign it for anyone but herself.

A hint of amusement appeared on Jett's features. "Should I speak with your maid and have her let you sleep longer?"

Large eyes blinked and her head snapped up completely to stare at him, looking almost like a child who had just been offered a great treat. "Really?"

((XD;; Damn it, I would like to know what Neith would say here.))

"Speak to anyone, but just let me sleep longer too! Please! I die a little bit each time I have to go up early," Kushina complained from where she sat, and frowned at Jett and drummed her fingers against the armrest. She would wait a bit before poking him about excusing this whole situation with the party and introduction, but if he hadn't said anything by the point she was dismissed, he would regret it.

Kushina was, as she had often proved, time and again, not against a bit of humiliation of people... not even when there were people around. At least the "people" in here was just Neith and Jett's own Queen-to-be. Kushina had to smirk at that thought. It could be worse, after all!

Celia had been up for about two hours by the time Micoi made her way to the Lord's office. She was usually up early eneough so that the maids had just stopped comming to wake her, assuming that she was already up. This was even earlier than usual for her, but she was eager to get back to the library. She dressed in her usual outfit, glad to be out of the formality of the dress. She nudged Kahaku, who was sleeping on the foot of her bed, and said, "Come on Kahaku. Lets find Yoko, and then go to the library."

'...come on...just a minute or two longer...'he thought, tucking his head under his wing for a moment, as if to allow himself more sleep.

"Kahaku, you promised we could go back to the library today,"She said, lifting the wing slightly.

Kahaku seemed to sigh a bit, and then sat up grogilly. '...You wake even earlier than Rune did...And I was suprised by him.....'he thought, before crawling up her arm and positioning himself around her shoulders.

"Come on,"she said with a slight laugh, picking up her sword and then heading out the door. They found the tiny bird in the party room, his hangover in full swing. Celia took him back to her room, placing him in his rather lavish bird house (Really more like a doll-house, complete with squishy bed, carpet, and sort-of running water(Supplied by a waterbottle at the back)) and into bed. "We'll come check on you later,"She said to the nauseaus little puff.

"Wine....bad...."chirpped the little bird sickly. He curled up in the bed, and decided to try and sleep it off.

Celia crept out of the room quietly, and headed down the hallway back on the usual route to the library. She was hoping to run into Aurum some time this morning...She felt rather bad about not having answered him properly yesterday.

"Don't complain to me, complain to your Black Dragon Officer," Neith said with a shrug as she shifted the wastebasket in her grip, only in slight protest. "Micoi wanted to see the Fighters train and they get started early." She had decided to skip over the 'dirtier' details about Micoi wanted to actually train with them. The Lord didn't need to hear about that...
