Moriah:
The Ring allows you to tunnel into the ground, but the grey beings jump in after you, clawing at you, trying to grab onto you.

Manra:
The twisted beings lunge at you, aiming their sharp nails for your throat.

Eleutherius:
"No, silly. The land was named after me. I am Lasai'ei, the Spirit of the Orange Ring!"
Soon, you reach the end of the light trail. There, you hear something moving nearby!

I start to get worried about the others. "Fi'hai... Are the rings conntected spiritually? If so, is there any way to contact the others from afar? It seems that asking the right questions is the key if they don't know what to do... I want to get that message to them."

Moriah:
You easily dig down about fifty feet within a few seconds. The grey beings are still following you.

Atlanta:
"Well, yes, we are," Fi'hai says. "Let me see if I can connect to the others..."
A burst of energy from the Red Ring becomes a long string of energy, which breaks into eight smaller strings. All of these strings jump into the orange-energy barrier behind you. Little beads of energy travel from the Ring and into the barrier though the strands. However, after a moment, the beads are all forced back and the strands vanish as Fi'hai cries out in pain.
"You didn't really think it was going to be that easy?" the voice calls out.
"No..." Fi'hai mutters through gritted teeth.

Eleutherius:
"Maybe."
Suddenly, you are attacked by what appears to be a large feline animal! How do you react?

I continue digging a bit deeper before turning around.
"Hey guys, lets shake things up a bit." I say, biting my thumb at them while making a tremor with my ring to collapse the tunnel behind me on my pursuers. I do my best to use the powers to protect myself from the debris.

Atlanta:
"Yes and no," Fi'hai says. "The Rings are at their full potential when used by their chosen Bearers. However, we're not dealing with a Ring here; this is Lasai'ei himself. There's no limit to his unbridled power!"

Moriah:
The tunnel collapses on them. When the debris settle, you are sitting in a very cat-like position next to Atlanta, whose energy is more focused than normal. Behind you is the orange barrier. Mashai'i is lying on the ground nearby, in a daze. Fi'hai seems to be in pain.

Manra:
"You feel only fear? This is why they attack. They cannot feel your love."
Suddenly, the floor beneath you opens up: you fall down to the next level. The others are following you, still with the intent to attack.

I flinch at the sudden attack and only manage to put up my arms to defend myself from the creature. After this, I try to throw it to the ground and get on top of it to hold it down.

Moriah:
Mashai'i groans as he sits up.
"What happened?" he mutters.

Eleutherius:
You feel a small bit of pain in your arms, but nothing serious. You fail to grab it at all. Instead, you receive a slash to the face!

Atlanta:
"Oh, I trust their judgement on their bearers," the voice says. "But I must test that you are worthy in the eyes of the Illusory to traverse this land and enter their chambers. You may even be worthy enough to wield my power."

Manra squeaks quietly as the floor opens up, surprised by it, but doesn't fight the falling to the next level, the voice ringing in her mind. Fear, huh?...yeah, I feared them for a moment when they first attacked... But, more than fear, I was confused and scared. But. Confusion, perhaps that's normal, but. I won't fear my friends. I'm going to believe in them. Believe that they are still there, that they are still my friends, because... that's what friends do. They believe in each other. She stands firm in her resolve, believing with all her heart. She'd find a way to return her friends back to normal, whether that was believing in them, or not fighting them, or just not fearing them, she wasn't about to give up on her friends. She couldn't; she wouldn't. They were too important to her.
