The Legacy's captain stared in panic at the decloaking warships, at the sheer size of the opposition before them. He turned to Marr in his distress, but the dark lord was the picture of calm.

"Have our fleet disengage as quickly as possible," he ordered in a measured tone. "Order the battlecruisers to form a barrier between our ships and the enemy. Also, have the fighters and bombers attack their left edge, focusing their attacks to do as much damage to the larger ships as possible. As soon as the larger vessels have entered hyperspace, have them break off their attack and escape individually."

"But my lord, we cannot hope to stand against such a large force!"

"The battlecruisers will most certainly be lost, as will several more of our starships. However, their sacrifice will enable the rest of our fleet a chance to escape. And with our starfighters focusing their attacks, we may be able to do some damage of our own. We have lost this round, there is nothing that we can do to change that. However, we have exposed our true enemy and have a chance to keep this loss from being overly devastating."

"Yes, my lord," said the captain, regaining his composure and moving off to issue the necessary orders.

"Is our cloak holding?" Marr asked a lieutenant near him.

"Yes, my lord. All of their effort seems focused on the fleet. Revan's Legacy has gone undetected thus far."

"Good. Hold our position here until the battle is over."

"Sir," the Captain of the Princess Red addressed the Jedi Master as he disbanded with his pirate costume. "They're using their Battlecruisers to shield their other vessels' retreat. Their fighters are attempting to break our left."
"Its too late for that." Master Lee said calmly. "They cant escape. Our Numbers allow us to cut off their retreat. Its time we showed them that surrender is their ownly option."
Glancing to the special gunnery station, Lee nodded. "Engage the Lightlance. Target the nearest Battlecruiser."
The gunners nodded and made the arrangements.
The triple Solar Ionization cannons on the underside of the Princess Red's bow glowed whitehot and fired.
The Beam tore through the Keel of the massive ship and exploded out the back, shattering whatever shields they had like tissue paper. For a brief instant, the Battlecruiser seemed to be impailed on a beam of brilliant white light. And then it exploded, snapping apart as its surfaces rippled with countless detonations.
Meanwhile, the unoppressed right of the Fleet's formation was swooping in to cut off the retreat of the enemy ships, backed up by starfighters flying in from the center. The Forays might escape, but the entire fleet was hampered by the problems of needing to recalculate their Nav Computers. One can not simply jump right back into Hyperspace after such a sudden conversion, and while under fire the task is even more difficult.
The Left maintained defenses, using chaff and point defense cannons as well as their own Aruek Fighters to intercept and chew the fighter wings, leaving the ships of the center to advance on the enemy fleet, guns ablaze.

"The force is just an extension of you-" Sonya began before she clutched her chest in pain. The draining of her life had started. Dumb mutt, right as she was eating to. And he didn't even seem to be focusing, rather the oppoisite, no control over himself.

"You... mutt.." she began, falling forward. her left arm reached down for her saber, igniting through te table. She lifted it up, but dropped it as another surge of pain echoed. She reached out, flinging utensils at him, bladed edge first hoping to make an impact.

Volgen snatched the knife from the air with one hand and still drain the life slowly from Sonya. Clutching it in his hand blood ran down his hand. Volgen threw it into the wall and licked the blood from his hand.

" It is no extension... It is a part of us... " Volgen said this still in a distant trance.

" We are not just using the force... but letting use us... choose us to be its vessel... "

Volgen slowly came back as he saw what he was doing. Uncaring he let go. Volgen felt her power coursing through him. It was much different then any he had drained before.

" Tell me... Did you enjoy that? " Seeing her hold her chest he shook his head.

" If that was just an extension of me... then why did it hurt you so much? You want to learn... then learn. The force is more powerful then you know. If I am to teach you any thing it will be to let the force lift you... Finish eating. Gain your strength. When you feel up to it, we will train. Just like I did..." He slowly trotted from the room on all fours. Not seeming to notice any one, he weaved in and out of his drunken men. They stumbled and tripped as he passed but not a one touched him.

For the last time, the disguised Jedi moved out into the arena, equiped with a vibroblade. As agreed with his opponent, the battlefield was to be an empty pit wit a sand floor. No tricks or terrain alterations.
Armor clad and twirling his vibroblade, he awaited for his opponent to show.

Stepping into the Ring, Mythosaur Axe in hand, the Mandalorian Warrior woman was prepared to finish the contest and win glory for Mandalore. Her grip tightened on her axe as she paced forward.
She would need to take the Echani down in a hurry, and even his armor would be no match for her Mythosaur Axe and strength. And if it was, well her lightblade would cut open his inferior armor like a can-opener.

Over the world of Zhar, the great Sith Fleet lay holding as the ships formed around the Star Empress in Battle Formation.

Aboard the massive flag ship, an irritated Demaia drummed her well manecured nails on the armrest of her throne.
"Explain to me again why we are wasting time in this back water system." She snarled angrily to her nearest subordinate.

Sir Vor, her Stenax General patiently addressed her.
"My Lady, we are establishing a forward supply base. Our scans have shown Zhar to be a suitable world to help maintain the long arms of your mighty empire. Furthermore, we need to let the rest of the fleet catch up to us. Not all of them have the same quality hyperdrives that we use."

"We've already conquered half a dozen other worlds!" She snapped, slaming her fist down on her throne's armrest. "Worlds with cities and technologies and people who I can tax and have worship me! I should be squashing that insolent whelp Darth Marr under my heel! Not building sand castles on backwater worlds!" She paused and rubbed her chin in thought, adding, "Remind me, Callista, that I wear my stilleto heel boots when we finally meet with Marr."

As her seceretary filed that information away, Vor tried to convince her again."Milady, those worlds are recent conquests. Their loyalty can not be completely depended upon. We need a foreward base to rally to and keep our lines supplied. Otherwise our ships will run out of consumables long before reaching anywhere we need to be."

"This is a waste of time, Vor." Demia told him, her amber eyes burning, "Once we destroy Marr and rip that undeserved title from his name, reducing him to the begging, helpless Jedi he is, I alone will be the best canditate for a position on the Council. No one else."

"I understand that, my lady, but please understand that we must take precautions-" Vor felt an invisible hand tighten around his neck and was silenced by it.

"Are you saying that the Grand Sith Fleet, MY Grand Sith Fleet, might not be enough to obliterate the pathetic defenses of Lyrra?" Demaia asked, a razor's edge in her now calm tone.

The Stenax shook his head as he struggled to breath.

"It certainly sounds like you are..."

"My lady," Callista said suddenly. "I am sure that Sir Vor is only thinking of your best interests. While you may not need this base, it provides your armies with something to exercise themselves, a warm up for any possible battle ahead. And would the Grand Sith Fleet look as Grand if the entire fleet was not present at once?"

Considering this, Demaia released Vor, the Stenax gasping for breath.
"Very well. We will wait. Vor, let your soldiers build their little base. It will keep them busy at the least until we have to subdue our next target. But those ships better arrive soon. I am a Patient woman, but even I have my limits..."

((I was hoping you'd make a stop before Aurin's location.))
On the outer edge of the Zhar System, Battlegroup Alpha of the 3rd Tett Expeditionary Force quietly monitored the position of the Grand Sith Fleet.
Aboard the Ashla Class Dreadnaught, Darkblade, Jedi Lord Dorog Xrandla stared patiently at the void before him, trusting the high powered scanners of the Alpha Battlegroup as well as the ripples in the Force from Demaia's anger.

"She seems upset. They must be parking for a time." He stated.

The Ship's Captain nodded. "Our readings indicate a large number of shuttle exchanges between the fleet and the planet. They're apparently engaging in surface activity on a large scale."

"I'll admit." The Ubese muttered as he continued to stare into space, "I did not think much of Lee's plan to shadow them. But now its about to pay off. Tell Battlegroups Gamma, Beta, and Delta to begin broadcasting on those Sith Frequencies and drop in outside of weapons range. Commence Operation Blue Harvest."

-----------------------------------------------------------------

75 warships dropped out of hyperspace outside of Turbolaser Range from Demaia's fleet. Arranging themselves into three battlegroups, the ships, all bearing Sith Sigils and broadcasting on an older Sith Frequency, began launching Concussion Missiles at Demaia's Fleet, provoking an engagement.

Siren came near the throne, giving a small bow to Marie. " Your hospitality is exceptional, and I must say this place fascinating. " she said. " I suppose you wish to discuss why I'm here now, correct? "

((oh you suck, cale.))

"Incoming ships...over seventy vessels of mixed class." Said one tech looking at his screen.
"Hmph. the rest of the fleet has arrived fairly quickly." Demaia said, somewhat pleased. She pushed her glasses up with her index finger and flicked a glance to the tech. "Have them fall into formation immediately."
"My Lady, they jumped in on a vector inconsistant with our fleet's previous destination. They're not ours."
Demaia arched an eyebrow. "Then who's ships are they?"
"Incoming Missiles!" Another tech cried out with dismay.
Demaia's face became one of shocked anger as she sat up in her seat. "What?!"
"Get our shields up! Brace for impact and prepare to return fire!" Vor shouted.
Explosions rippled across the fleet as the missiles struck the 250+ ships of Demaia's fleet. Some of those closest to the attackers were destroyed or heavily damaged, not raising their shields fast enough.
Parts of the fleet turned to engage the enemy while others sat in place, their crews confused as to what was going on. Demaia's Flagship turned sharply and began throwing sheets of energy at the new ships, engines firing up to draw closer.

((The problem with battles in a RP set-up like this is that the winner can't really be determined unless one of the players eventually is willing to bow out gracefully. Theoretically, I could have gotten pissed at his manuever and spent my time pulling random stuff out of nowhere just to try and fight back, but Cale had done a good move and I didn't want to spoil it by being immature.

And besides, I've been suspecting for awhile that Cale probably had something up his sleeve (the pirate's/jedi's acting was terrible). It would have been bad form for me to act accordingly, however, since my character is not privy to all of the information that I am. In the end, I believe I played my character like he would have reacted, and at the very least he now knows who his real enemy is.

And in the future, can we please keep comments such as these in the OOC thread...))

Jakar batted back the red blaster bolts, while slowly walking towards the final droid. The weapon's discharges became more and more rapid, forcing the runaway Jedi back. He removed his left hand from the lightsaber's hilt, attempting to repeat the deflection skill he used before. Jakar was successful, the red bolts began returning to their "owner", and he began moving forward again.

One blaster bolt hit Jakar's right hand, knocking the lightsaber out of his grip. "Melee was never my forté," he mumbled. Jakar jumped back and gathered the energy for a push. The droid began clambering forward on its spider-like legs, bringing its range of fire closer and closer to its target. Jakar then released the Force energy he held in his hands, and threw it at the droid, causing it to recoil back.

He then jumped into the air and gathered more Force power into his body and coerced it out of his finger tips. Blue tendrils of lightning shot out of his hands and at the droid, conduction doing Jakar's work for him. "Power! Unlimited power!" He landed on his chest with a grunt, oxygen leaving his lungs from contact with the floor. Jakar felt drained, but looked up at the droid and seeing it tremble and collapse. "I..." he gasped, "need to... learn... how to pace myself." He continued to lay on the ground, bringing air back into his lungs.

The Lyran ships tried to punch their way through the enemy, but met with disaster time and again. By the time the fleet managed to escape into hyperspace, only a third of their original numbers remained. Even those ships that survived were heavily damaged.

Marr stood on the bridge of the Revan's Legacy looking out at the wreckage of his ships with the same calm mask. The captain came up with a damage report, but he already knew what it contained. He had been beaten here, and soundly so, but he had uncovered the identity of his enemy, and that was a valuable piece of information.

"Take us home, captain," he said, moving towards the center chair and sitting down. "Send orders to have the majority of our other fleets depart from Yag'Dhul and return with us. Also halt all major supply shipments and put all of our defenses on high alert."

As the Legacy disappeared into hyperspace, Marr meditated on the recent events and on some that the galaxy had not yet seen...
