Daniel nodded and listened intently, politely waiting for her to finish so he could say something. A noise from nearby made him jump and look in that direction. He breathed a sigh of relief seeing that someone had left the window open and the wind had pushed over a bundled up stack of parchment.
The nervous teen looked back towards Aideen and their lips connected. At first his eyes went wide with shock, but after the initial shock he practically melted at the feeling as he kissed her back.

Carina smiled, remembering that they were going to go find Neville. Well, maybe not. It was already too close to class to cut it short. He'd be in there though, that's when she could see him again. "Maybe we should just head to class. We'll be late if we don't. Besides...He should be there too..." .
"Oh, hah ha Draco. Just because I know how MgGonagall is when we're late." She said hushing him with a kiss. "Alright, off to class, and to find our secrete mystery man!" she said giggling.

Aideen was a first a bit shocked; she wasn't expecting what was supposed to be a simple kiss on the cheek would turn into a full on actual kiss. When their lips met Aideen felt her knees go a little weak and could have sworn that she saw fireworks. After several moments of being in this wonderful embrace, she pulled away. "So...," Aideen said a little breathlessly looking at Daniel. So. That was the only thing that Aideen's mind could think and function enough to say.

Daniel didn't want the kiss to end. Yet he kept his arms stitched to his sides. But he kept kissing her not wanting it to end. But it ended anyways. And he stared back at her before slowly looking down, blushing deeply.
She spoke first, he opened his mouth to say something, then snapped it shut. He didn't know what to say. Not even a single world could materialize in his mind. Nor could he utter anything but his own breath.
He reverted back to his first action. His arms wrapped around her waist and he drew her closer for another deeper kiss.
At the same time Jake was passing by. He was deep in thought, but not so deep in thought that he didn't notice the sudden movement in the Transfiguration classroom. Slowly his eyes rolled in their direction and looked away. It's just Daniel and that Irish chick he thought to himself before he stopped mid-step and froze completely. "Daniel and that Irish chick?" He asked himself, before peeking back into the room.
Jake Defi watched the exchange between the two before his hand automatically produced the digital camera he had with him. Silently, he put down the noise level of the camera, took aim and took two pictures. One was a wide, vertical shot of both Aideen and Daniel. And the other was a close-up shot of their kiss. Straight out of an Anime... The American thought to himself before he went on his way, adding an extra step in his walk as he put away his camera with a huge grin on his face.

Neville had preoccupied himself with reading a book about herbology after Daniel made his leave after Aideen. He had honestly lost track of time until he looked at the clock and realized he had very little time to get to his Transfiguration class. He dropped the book into his school bag and rushed out of the common room and down to the McGonagall's classroom.
Anna-Marie wiped her eyes. She was determined not to shed another tear. Not for him. She was sure she'd be seeing plenty of Jake still. He'd probably be sent to fetch her for the Carrow's. That would be awkward, but she'd most likely keep her mouth shut. She made her way to her next class. Being a sixth year, she was in Divination right now. Fine by her. It was actually her best subject, being a seer and all. ..
Carina smirked at the way Draco and Raven interacted. It was cute. Maybe one day, her and Neville could be like that in public. "He'll probably be there..." She noted as she began to walk to Transfiguration.

Aideen was in a complete state of shock when Daniel grabbed her waist and kissed her again. It wasn't a bad shock, just shocking shock that was similar to being lightly zapped by a light switch or static electricity, but more enjoyable. Soon enough though, her arms made their way to around his shoulders. Aideen was actually quite content to stay like this for quite sometime, but suddenly remembered that class would soon start and she found herself not breathing. She pulled away from Daniel slightly.
"Um...Daniel," Aideen said quietly, "I'm sorry but can't breath." Aideen took a deep breath trying to get rid of a lightheaded feeling that she had, which was partly from a lack of oxygen and partly from kissing Daniel. "That and class will be starting shortly in this room, and I would like to avoid having Professor McGonagall walk in and find us..well, like this." Aideen realized that she might have sounded a little harsh. "I mean, I'm not trying to tell you to not kiss me. It's actually quite the opposite. I'm just suggesting that we continue this at another place and/or time." Aideen finished this by giving Daniel a kiss on the cheek.
Aideen just happened, at that moment to look at the doorway and see Neville. She was mortified and her face flushed a bright red.

Daniel blushed deeper and he looked down while backing away, when she suggested to continue at another time. Though he agreed he could hardly believe that these were words used towards him. He fiddled with his hands, and stared at them.
Then he suddenly threw his arms around Aideen in blissful happiness, not even vaguely aware that Neville was at the doorway. Trying to bury his face into her body, he finally rolled his head to the side and opened his eyes finally seeing Neville.
But to his own surprise, he didn't blush and look away. He let go of Aideen and ran towards Neville. "Neville! Neville! I did it! I finally spoke to Aideen!" He shouted with excitement and full of smiles as he threw his arms around Neville next, grinning up at him.

Aideen stood there staring at Neville and watched as Daniel ran up to him excitedly. She was frozen in one spot. How much of that did Neville see? How long was he standing there? Oh Mary mother of God! Aideen did nothing but stand there lost in her thoughts. Finally something snapped. "Oh. Uh...hi Neville," she said quietly.

Neville had been thinking as he headed down to the Transfiguration class room. Therefore, he wasn't really paying attention to what was going on around him. However, as he entered the designated class room, he found himself ambushed. Not by Slytherins, but by Daniel, much to his suprise. The boy had given him a hug. After the initial shock wore off, he understood what Daniel was so excited about. He had spoken to Aideen. He gave Daniel a smile upon remembering the whole scene between the two earlier. "Great..umm..Hi Aideen...Daniel, could you please let me go?"
Crucius wasn't one to pass up an opportunity to make fun of a Gryffindor. Therefore when he walked into Transfiguration, and he saw Neville with Daniel's hands around him, he couldn't help but laugh. "Wow...I had wondered why neither of you had really had a real girlfriend before...I guess now I know..." He said with a smirk. Not too long after that statement was out of his mouth beofre his sister walked through the door. "What say you Carina...?"
Carina had been hoping to see Neville soon, but not under the current circumstances. As soon as she heard what had come out of her brother's mouth, her face turned red. What the hell was she supposed to do. She couldn't make fun of Neville, but if she didn't say anything, her brother would most likely be suspicious. Despite that fact, she remained speechless. .

Aideen saw Crucius and heard his comment. She wasn't about to let that go off unchallenged, and she knew that Carina would say something because she was a house mate and friend of Neville's if Crucius wasn't her brother. Shaking away the shock and bliss of what had just transpired between her and Daniel previously, Aideen gathered up her courage and Irish fury. "Téigh trasna ort féin." She said to Crucius. "May you melt off the earth like snow off the ditch."

Raven and Draco were right behind Carina when they walked into the class room. Raven resisted the urge to cover her mouth with her hand in shock. Crucius was present in the room, meaning she could not show her care for Neville.
Draco stepped in, grabbing Neville by his robes. "That's filthy. Longbottom's mine boys. I'm going to teach him a thing or two." he pushed Neville out of the classroom roughly, hoping that he would understand once they were in the clear.
Raven nodded, pointing her wand at Daniel. "Let's go." She tried to give him an apologetic look.

Daniel let go of Neville as soon as possible and in embarrassment. His head bowed as he blushed deeply. He and his friend were being teased, first by Crucius, and he was sure Carina would say something soon.
And in front of Aideen...how could he let this happen. His hands tightened into fists as he fought to hold back the tears and the anger. He shouldn't do anything stupid. Jake did many things stupid but he had ways of getting out of his choices and mistakes. Where was Daniel Evans in this matter?
Just another punching bag?
"Let him go!" He suddenly yelled out as he ran and attempted to tackle Draco Malfoy with his fists flying to pummel him. Finally to show him who's boss and hopefully not be humiliated further in the process.

Raven grabbed Devin by the back on the robes, pulling his ear close to her lips. Quietly she whispered to him, "Just shut up, and go with what we're telling you to do so no one's none the wiser. Carina's in a bad spot. Crucius is her brother. He can't know about them." She kept ahold on his robes for good measure. "You won't be fighting with a prefect. You're in trouble now." She said out loud with a smirk. They lead Neville and Devin out of the classroom.
Draco patted Neville on the back. "I'm sorry about that Neville. I just wanted to get you out of there for Carina's sake."
Raven nodded, letting go of Devin. "It just wasn't safe. As prefects we did what we thought was best for the situation. It also keeps up our appearances, sadly."

Neville pretended to reluctantly go with them, just for the time being. Before long, there wouldn't be any of this secretive planning stuff. He couldn't take being teased any longer. If Crucuis only knew that he was dating his sister. Internally he smirked. However, he kept his face a mask and went out in the hall for Carina's sake, casting a quick look at her before he exited the classroom.
Crucius raised an eyebrow at the little redhead. Just exactly who did she think she was? He began to take a step towards the girl, but something stopped him. While the other two Gryffindor boys were being hauled outta there, his sister hadn't said a word. Instead of taking a step towards Aideen, he turned towards Carina. Her face was flushed red. Odd. Why whould she be blushing? Wait? Did Neville just look at her? That set something off inside of him. He decided to follow Neville out of the room. He brushed past his sister like it was no big deal, knocking her into the doorway. "Hey...Schlongbottom...Keep your eyes off my sis. There's no way you'd ever be with her...So bugger off.." He said threateningly. He acutally went up and turned the boy around. However, next thing he knew, his face was met with a fist, and he crumpled to the ground.
Carina felt so horrible. Her brain was unable to relay the command speak to her mouth . She watched as the scene unfolded. Her eyes had met with Neville's for a moment, but unfortunately for them, Crucius spotted that, and went after him. Great, now there'd be a fight. She felt so useless and unhelpful. She went to stop her brother as he chased after Neville, ignoring the pain that had shot up her back as Crucius all but shoved her into the doorway. However, a second or so later, she watched as Neville hit him and knocked him out cold. If anybody was shocked, it was her. Probably the only one more shocked than herself was Neville. Instead of checking to see if her brother was alright, she hurried up to Neville and wrapped her arms around him. He looked proud in a way, and she was proud of him. It was only a moment before she felt his arms wrap around her. "I'm sorry I didn't say anything earlier..." She trailed off. He knew why, hopefully he understood. .
