"Hey Charmander, bive me some inspiration."
On that note, Charmander inhaled and blew a fireball right on Mike's butt, setting his pants on fire.
"Aaagggghh!! I just meant I wanted you to race me! Agh! Agh!!"
Patting his engulfed butt, Mike tore for the Pokemon Center at full speed.

"What do you mean I'm not allowed through?" Nina asked a security guard, somewhat annoyed.
"Look kid," he replied, "I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do about it. My boss told me to let nobody into or out of Saffron City, no matter who they may be, until further notice. You're just going to have to be a good girl and wait, like everyone else. Now scat." Nina felt herself getting more annoyed.
Don't, Nina. We can't make a scene. Misdreavus, why not? she asked.
Because it will seem as though the guard suffered temporary amnesia upon seeing you. People might grow suspicious. Nina's eyes darted to the side. Fine.
She looked at the guard for a moment. "Have a nice day," she said in a bitter and sarcastic tone as she turned her back to him and walked off.
After a few minutes, Nina said to Misdreavus, "I wonder why nobody's allowed in the city...?"

As young kids back in Mossdeep Ken and Mitsu were the most competitive two there was. Ken refused to lose to a girl and Mitsu loved to torment him when he lost. He will not lose to Mitsu this time. He refused to. "Pidgy!" His Pidgy cried to give him some more inspiration. His speed increased and now was running head on with Mitsu for the Center.
Mitsu reliving the good ol' days back in Mossdeep when she had beaten Ken had forgotten about the race. She turned her head to the left and saw Ken next to her. Determined to out run him ahe pressed on. Her energy was slowly depleting while Ken seemed to be full of life.

((Ok, thanks, but I can't see what an Oddish would be doing in a restaurant, unless it was on the menu rofl ))
The day was still early, but Kasiya could feel her stomach rumbling. It had been quite some time since breakfast, so she decided on a picnic lunch. After a bit of scouting, she found herself on the northern end of town, coming close to the route that lead to the forest. She found a shady spot under a large oak tree and set up for lunch. She released Eevee, who dived into her food hungrily. About halfway through the meal, Kasiya looked up to see a streak of yellow zip across the trail.
"What the-" she asked, but Eevee hadn't noticed over her loud crunching. Thinking she may have been seeing things, she shook her head and went back to her sandwich, still keeping an eye on the trail. The flash of yellow suddenly appeared again, but this time Kasiya knew what she had seen. "Eevee, there's something here with us," she told her Pokemon, her mind racing through all the different Pokemon she knew that were yellow. Eevee jumped into a defensive stance, her head occasionally turning to check that her lunch was still there. Kasiya stood her ground, her heart beating fast in her chest.
"Pika?" came an inquisitive voice from behind them. Kasiya wheeled around to see a Pikachu sitting on top of a rock, its ears twitching intently. Its face showed no real sign of emotion, only indifference.
"Look, Eevee, it's a Pikachu," Kasiya said softly. Eevee turned to face the small electric rodent, her nose twitching eagerly. Pikachu's gaze shifted to Eevee, then to Eevee's lunch.
"Pika pi," it said.
Kasiya's heart felt as though it may burst through her chest. Sitting before her was a Pokemon, and an electric one at that. Before she could even think, she set Eevee on the attack.
"Use Sand-Attack!" Immediately, Eevee jumped into action. She ran three steps, pivoted on two feet and kicked up a cloud of sand into the Pikachu's face. It growled in return, sparks flying from its red cheeks. Eevee stopped, her ears drooping a little.
"Let's try a Tackle attack!" Kasiya cried. Eevee leapt at the Pikachu, knocking it off the rock and into the undergrowth behind them. There was a brilliant flash of yellow that lit up the entire area, and Kasiya heard Eevee cry out. The little brown Pokemon came running out of the shrubbery and stood panting in front of its trainer, little sparks of electricity emulating from it. The Pikachu came out a few seconds later, looking a bit roughed up but still willing to battle. It rubbed at its eyes a few times, trying to get the sand out. Once again, Kasiya ordered Eevee to perform a tackle attack, and the move hit home. Pikachu attempted to retaliate by with a Thundershock, which Eevee was just able to dodge. Another tackle from Eevee brought the Pikachu down to all fours, both Pokemon breathing heavily. Kasiya reached onto her belt and unhooked a Pokeball. She took a deep breath and let it fly.

Pants still ablaze, Mike ran for his little bottom's life towards the Pokemon Center.
"IHOPETHEYHAVEANEXTIGUISHERIHOPETHEYHAVEANEXTIGUISHERIHOPETHEYHAVEANEXTIGUISHER!!" Mike screamed as his Charmander laughed, both making a break for the red roofed building.

Mitsu took the lead and then. Oh no! A rock! Being her clusmy self and going at a speed far to fast to make a quick turn her foot caught the rock and her face plumeted forwards.
THUD!
Ken had already made it to the Pokemon Center before anyone else had. Proud and full of joy he hadn't notice the big fall Mitsu had taken and decide to go in after his Pidgy called out once more reminding him of their hunger.
Mitsu falling hadn't realized that she let go of her Ralts. The small Pokemon flew into the air thankfully landing on it's rump with minimun damage. Mitsu on the other hand didn't fair so well.

Still slightly bothered from the earlier experience with the security guard, Nina was sitting underneath a tree with Misdreavus to ponder her new route. "If only we had a map," she said. "It would most certainly be less frustrating..." Misdreavus' eyes grew concerned. Don't worry, Nina. I'm sure that we'll figure it out soon enough.
"I hope so," Nina replied. Looking around the area, Nina noticed a house near the guard watchtower where she had the confrontation with the guard. The building's door was ajar, so Nina's curiousity told her to inspect it. Walking inside, it was lit by a single light bulb in the ceiling's center area. The actual floor of the building, however, was as plain as could be. There was no furniture or anything on the floor, and no steps leading to an attic. "Well, this is a waste of my time," Nina said, and sat down on the floor rather fast, with a grumpy expression on her face. Misdreavus floated down to Nina and rubbed against her hands.
Suddenly, Nina spoke in a rapid and monotonous tone. "Do you hear something?" Misdreavus had no time to reply as the area of the floor around Nina collapsed. She fell no more than twenty feet onto a dirt terrain.

((Woot...back...and just after the screensaver went on too. We need to pull everone together somehow...it's lonely rping with myself gonk ))
Pikachu was pulled inside of the Pokeball, not even really flinching as it was hit. The ball hit the ground, wiggling and wiggling. Kasiya felt her heart stop - the moment of truth! The Pokeball wriggled for a few more seconds before coming to a stand-still - the red light dimmed - Pikachu had been captured. Kasiya blinked a few times, staring at the Pokeball in disbelief. It wasn't until she was tackled by Eevee and knocked flat on her rear that she realized what she had just done. "Eevee," she cried excitedly, "we did it! We caught Pikachu!"
"OUUIII" Eevee cried, nuzzling her chin then licking her nose. Kasiya stood up, and Eevee ran over to the Pokeball, sniffing intently. Kasiya bent down, patting Eevee on the head and picked up the Pokeball.
"I think it may have wanted to share our lunch," Kasiya said with a giggle. "Are you opposed to sharing?"
Eevee looked over at its half-eaten lunch, then back up at Kasiya and the Pokeball. "Oui," she said softly, and sat down.
"That is very kind of you, Eevee," Kasiya said with a smile. She tossed the Pokeball on the ground, releasing her new Pokemon. Pikachu looked up at her and blinked, then gave a sheepish smile and scratched behind its ears. "Have some lunch after that tough battle," Kasiya said, showing Pikachu over to where Eevee sat, looking a little dismayed yet happy.
"Pika!" Pikachu said to Eevee, before taking a bite. Eevee only grinned, and watched its new friend enjoy its lunch.
