"Shopping as in 'buy what you can, steal what you can'. Either that or just tag along for the trip. I myself just feel like browsing." Jojo grabbed his jacket that he had dropped on the floor near the main door, and slipped on his sneakers. "Come along if you'd like! The more the merrier."

The air was cool, and the city was bustling with night life. Jojo lead the way down an alley that lead to mainly clothing and shoe stores, but he was more interested in finding the technology section.

((I have work tomorrow, so only a few more posts and then I need to hit the hay! Sorry!))

Kurai stood up and stretched his arm out. "Well, the night is young! ...Day. Something!" What time was it anyway? "Hey Rio! We're gonna go get coffee and window shop, by the time we get back you might be out of the shower!!" He laughed and ruffled Nadia's hair. "Don't eat all the cupcakes!"

"Will do Jojo!" Shizuka yelled as Jojo disappeared in the sea of people. Shizuka hummed as she entered the coffee shop and ordered a frap with a Hawaiian blend coffee. Pushing the door open with her back she thanked the people in the shop. Looking around two muscular guys wearing biker jackets approached Shizuka, looking like they were passing by. One of the knocked his shoulder into Shizuka and smirked as he tilted his head back in her direction.

He walked back as Shizuka stared blankly at the coffee that had spilled. Shizuka looked up at him making a pout face. The guy laughed as he stepped on the cup and grabbed Shizuka's shoulder. Shizuka snapped into a defensive pose and grabbed the hand on her shoulder. Twisting it, she pushed it behind his back and kicked his calf making him fall on the ground. His wallet popped out as she took the few dollars she lost and patted the man on the head. "Thank you love." she said getting up. The stranger grabbed her foot and yanked her back to the pavement with Shizuka landing with a thud. "Owie..." She said as her face felt tender with a bruise already starting to surface. Shizuka took a few steps back then charged at the guy jump kicking him in the face as he fell backwards leaving a crack in the pavement.

The fall she suffered gave her some bruises, but that was it. Shizuka scooted back in and reordered everything. Coming out she waited on the pavement with her cold frappuccino as an icepack for the bruise on her face. ((big post biggrin ))

Jojo returned a few minutes later with a large brown paper bag in his arm. He walked over to the two theives and rose an eyebrown. "What happened here?" He noticed Shizuka's beaten face. "What happened to your face?!" Jojo leaned in to inspect her marks, and made a 'tsk' sound. "We should go back. I think Rio or Nadia should look at your face to make sure it's nothing serious." He patted Shizuka's head. "Like brain damage."He noticed the bag of ground coffee beans in her hand and took it from her. "Thanks for getting this for me!" He dropped the coffee in his brown paper bag. "Okay, we should head back now, unless there's something else we need to do here."

"I'm fine, just some scrapes and bruises, nothing big." She lied feeling the side of her pulsing and she refrained from twinging trying to put her best poker face on. "Don't worry about it." she seconded behind her first statement then sipped her frapacuinno. When they weren't Shizuka held her condensating cup to her face a replacement for an ice pack, it was good enough for her. "So anybody else want coffee before we go?" she said pointing behind her. Shizuka felt a few scrapes bleeding but they would stop, she stood up for her coffee and won, life wasn't that bad today.

Shizuka gave a simple smile and nodded. "I'm okay, just ran into some trouble while getting coffee.." She explained poking the cresent bruise under her eye. A little shaky, Shizuka went to her room to change into her comfy attire again. Coming out she sprawled across the floor and yawned, which hurt her bruise.

((hmm. I guess we’re at the base now… ))

Nadia followed the gang back to the base and led Shizuka into the bathroom to clean off her battle wounds. “This might hurt a little,” she said honestly as she gently wiped the scratches with hydrogen peroxide. She squeezed a drop of Neosporin onto the scratches, and stuck several bandaids of different sizes on them. She laughed as she looked at the bandaids. Somehow they had ended up with only bluesclues decorated bandaids. “Sorry,” she said as seriously as she could muster, “they’re all we’ve got.” She packed up the medicine equipment, smiled and patted Shizuka’s arm, “you’re good to go,” she said and walked back into the ‘meeting room’ to await the meeting they had never had.

((assuming that Rio still wants to hold a meeting..? also, I know this might seem stupid or w/e, but is it possible for everyone to have something that he/she specializes in? …technology… lock picking… planning… distraction…explosives… something along those lines, I mean everyone would still do the same general things, just with the addition of their specialty. just to help us to understand what ‘position’ each person holds and maybe to help make missions go smoother (not that they don’t) if everyone knew their role… just an idea tho.))
