Upon emerging from the portal, Rex gave a large yawn and made a straight beeline to his room, completely exhausted from class. King had already fallen asleep, which was no surprise as the clock chimed 12 o'clock.
"G'night Mom..." Click.
"Night Rex," Silencer mumbled and slammed the door shut, effectively cancelling the portal they had emerged from. Sleepy and dry-eyed, the girl disappeared into the kitchen for a drink before heading to the bathroom for a quick brush, then finally heading off to bed.
