Mario Power Tennis: If you liked the original, it's more of the same. A fairly enjoyable game for those who like Mario-sports titles.
Waaah... crying *wants a GameCube*

I LOVE Mario Tennis. Is Daisy still in there? She was my best player.

xd Yeah, Daisy is still there.

Halo 2: Do I even need to say anything about this game? Everybody else has it, or has at least played it.
Halo... *steams*

I don't have much against the game itself, but as a VG frequenter I find talk about it tiresome and repetitive. Plus, it's extremely overrated. It's an okay game, but it's not worth all the hype. sweatdrop Or maybe it's just a testosterone thing, but whatever. I know lots of guy gamers who don't like Halo (and yes, they're straight).

The last game I bought was DDRextreme... actually, my sister had to help. A lot. sweatdrop I'm poor.
How is Extreme? The last DDR game I bought was Max....

Beat it, got everything, sold it... sweatdrop

I doubt I'd remember how to help you, but, tell me where you are and I guess I'll give it a shot. I had a level 50 healer near the beginning of the game, and a lot of level 40s because of my merciless power leveling, so I just blew through it.

I'm such a sucker for Mario titles. I grew up with Mario, man. I was playing the original Super Mario Bros. on my grandpa's 8-bit at the age of five...then my dad got a SNES and a cartridge with all five of the games to that date on it (SMB 1, 2, 3, Super Mario World, and SMB The Lost Worlds). I also played MarioKart on my friend's SNES. THEN! N64 came out and while I never bought it myself, I played Mario 64 at three other people's houses. I owned MarioKart 64 and Mario Party 3, and rented Mario Tennis at least twice. Smash Brothers was a gift from God, and then when GameCube was released I ltached onto my cousin Jesse for a week just to play Melee....and he got Double Dash for Christmas, so we played that a lot, too.

So I think the only things I haven't played in some incarnation or another are Mario Tennis, the arcade version (although on DK64 they did have a re-creation of the DK vs Mario arcade game...) and Sunshine. (Sunshine looked kinda dorky. neutral )

Wow, I need to calm down. Stop ranting, Shaddi. *hits self in head*

Go buy it. (Or find a way to play it, since you said you don't have a Gamecube.) Now. Seriously, if you liked Mario 64 at all, you'll love Sunshine. Sunshine is Mario 64 with a cleaner (omfg pun) game engine and a water blaster thing, that really doesn't take away from the original Mario gameplay we know and love, but adds to it's greatness.

Edit: Have you played Mario is Missing...? xd gonk

Er..I'm at the part where you have that fight, the one where you have to with judgemaster Cid or whatever after, then the Totema comes and you end up being alone fighting the B-whatever guy and breaking the orb things..

I just can't seem to get through that first fight..then if I do, I can't beat the next guy. I've been trying to level up, but it doesn't seem to be doing me much good. gonk

Well, but I DIDN'T really like 64. It took something away for me...it just isn't Mario if you can move backwards and forwards. Mario = right/left, up/down. I mean, 64 was okay, but it got old after a while and all the stuff was really confusing. There are probably still moves in that game that I don't know how to do. (All I ever did was play the secret Princess Peach slide that you get to by going through that window, anyway. xd )

No, my favorite N64 game was Donkey Kong. I ate, slept, and breathed that thing when I still had my N64 (I sold it for con money...I'm so sad. But now I could probably get another one for like $10...it just wouldn't be orange... crying ). It wasn't even my game - I stole it from my cousin. And I never even beat it because I couldn't get the Rare coin (from the original DK arcade thing in Frantic Factory. I didn't know how to beat it! I could have if I had known how. It was just the last stage...I got so close and then couldn't) and you need the Rare coin to get into the final battle with K. Rule.

That game had SLIDES. I LOVE video game slides. (Although the ones in DK64 pissed me off because they were so damn hard. What's the point of sliding AND collecting coins at the same time? But I still beat them...stayed up past midnight trying too. I didn't even think I HAD beaten the first one until I looked at the Golden Banana checklist and realized that slot was full...I was so spaced out from lack of sleep.)

That's why I liked Ray-Man (the second one anyway. The first one was dorky and I never played Hoodlum Havoc). Sliiiides. And the Kingdom Hearts slides weren't that bad either, in the Tarzan place.
