Wei bowed to RuiZhi's newest companion. His brother's company usually calmed him...or made him more overprotective. It depended on the person. But this boy seem rather confused.
Confused creatures did tend to lash out when back into the corner. He listed that as a possible reason for why the natives were being like this. Had something significant changed that would make them want to lash out?
He opened his bag, taking out a notebook and a pen. He wrote down his thoughts and observations. To be studied later of course. And who knows, the adults were too busy fussing over the survivor they might of missed something.

Rylenn looked down. He hadn't been paying attention. He... had gotten lost in his own thoughts, over on the side. He watched a cricket jump from spot to spot until it moved close to some feet.
Feet? Rylenn looked up and blinked at his lover. He smiled gently and walked over. He touched Weiyuan's shoulder and leaned over the other. He kissed Wei's ear and purred faintly. "What's wrong, Love?" His arms wrapped around Wei's waist and nibbled on his ear. "It's okay.. I'm here... I'm sorry.. I was distracted."
His hands ran up and down Weiyuan's stomach. "Relax a little... don't be so uptight.. or should I.. uh... -loosen- you up some."

Sable blinked, taking a moment to respond before walking back to RhuZhi and company. He glanced at his brother, nodding his head and offering a hand. "Pleasure," he said with a grin, brushing bangs out of his face with the other hand. He didn't seem to mund RhuZhi's less than perfect English. It was still English and he could still understand, and at this point, that's all that really matters.
"Erm...problem?" He shrugged. "I'm afraid I don't really have anything important to contribute...I mean...I've never been here before." He gave them a sheepish smile. "All I know is what you told me, RhuZhi."
He paused as he suddenly noticed the third kid. Was he a student too? His eyes widened a little as they interacted like neither he or RhuZhi were here. ...what was going on? "...er...hello? Who're you?"

RuiZhi smiled a little apologetically as Weiyuan seemed to not greet Sable at all. "Please forgive him, he lived here, too." He glanced at Weiyuan, then Rylenn as he joined the trio. There was a brief flash of sadness as the red-head didn't say hello, but he knew the other was worried about his boyfriend. He turned to look at Sable as Rylenn started talking, so only Sable saw the grimace that crossed his face at the other's words. "This is Rylenn McGreggors." Any other introduction would have to come from one of them; he certainly was not going to say what they were out loud. He'd just come to terms with it, it didn't mean he was ready to deal with it out in his day to day life.
The boy did what any other budding teenager would do when a strange situation presented itself: he pretended it wasn't happening. "Well, the riots and strange deaths are still uncertain. No one really knows anything. That's what we're here for, to find a better answer than 'that's weird.'" RuiZhi smiled at Sable, hoping the older man would ignore the other two. He didn't know if this was how they dealt with problems, but it wasn't his way, or Sable's for that matter. He was young enough that he didn't really know what to do.

Wei clutched the notebook, biting his lip a little bit. Rylenn's words went staright to his pants. He turned a bit, attempting to hide the growing problem.
He pulled Rylenn close kissing the boy before whispering to him. "I thought I was the sex kitten. We can play later...when there isn't a crowd around us." He licked the red-head ear before turning back to the group, his arm encircling the elder's waist.
He wondered how much work he'd actually get done tonight.

Rylenn looked at RuiZhi and smiled. "Hallo, Rui." He held Weiyuan close to him and smirked. He whispered in his lover's ear. "What.. no voyeurism?" He smirked against the other's ear. He leaned his head on Weiyuan's and eyed Sable.
"Hello there.. you're new.. I don't know you... should I?" He smiled gently and rubbed Wei's back gently. He made sure no one saw what was his.
It -was- his.

"Ah." Sable nodded, though he wasn't entirely sure how living here excused Weiyuan's rudeness. Maybe he was just worried about his homeland? Wait. No. He had that redhead hanging off of him. Somehow, Sable doubted worry was distracting him. Rylenn McGreggors? This one must not be Chinese. "Pleasure," he said shortly, continuing to give them puzzled looks. Sex kitten? Voyeurism? Who actually talked about that sort of stuff in public? Wasn't that sort of stuff for those porn video things he'd found in Juno's locker? Ug. Juno's locker.
He half-listened to RuiZhi, still trying to focus on the other pair. "Er...no," he replied to Rylenn. "I'm Sable Hazard." There wasn't much else to say. Should it be Sable Hazard, Lab Tech? Wait, he was hanging around two doctors-in-training years younger than him. Heh. He pushed his glasses up even though they hadn't started slipping. Nervous habit. "So...yeah. About this...weirdness?" Nothing like an obvious change of topic.

So she wanted to go with a stomach flu? Well that was an alright cover for it if she wanted, although Irame knew that at least she and Dante wouldn’t be fooled by it. She has smiled at Alex, but she had left too quickly for Irame to really say much to her.
“I know a healing spell that dulls… flu like symptoms in general if you would like it.” Irame said to Lina as the woman took her tea. Really it was a spell to simply dull any type of pains that you might be having. Useful for others, but not something that you could cast on yourself normally. “And Henry you said that you had information, if Dante or I could look at that it would be very helpful. Dante could probably get a glace at it fist while I’m here.” She said with a smile. It helped them look at everything and it also let her talk to Lina alone.

The boy felt very small, not at all liking the situation. Like most people who tried to ignore their problems, he was quickly finding that this one was not going away. He took a second path, and opted to flee instead. "Yes. I'm going to go talk to some of the scientists and see if there's anything new. I'm sure they can answer any questions you have, too." There. RuiZhi had at least tried to get Sable away from the two love birds. He'd be lying if he said he didn't know why he was so flustered; he still wanted time with his brother to himself, and given the situation, he wanted to be there for Weiyuan. But Wei...had Rylenn. He would make himself scarce so they could 'comfort' each other.
With a huge grin to deflect any perceptions that he was unhappy, he shuffled off towards one of the desks across the room, hoping the whole trip wouldn't be trying to avoid his love-sick brother more than lending his aid to their purpose here. He was studying to be a doctor, and he had to act like one, no matter the distractions.

Wei watched his dìdì move away, frowning a bit. Even now, it was still hard to balance his lover time and family time. Currently the family being Rui.
The brunette could see it in the boy's actions. He knew Alex would be able to see it too. Trust him to be put in such odd situations. But...he wasn't sure on what he could do.
There was nothing like the talks he and his dìdì had. And there was nothing like the touches he shared with Rylenn. The balance was so delicate.
This world just might shatter. It was only the beginning. Once the group really started moving on this he'd end up keeping his emotions locked up. And Rui would want to comfort him and Rylenn would want to comfort him. It wasn't like he prefered one's company to another. People could be so complicated.

Rylenn watched RuiZhi move away. He instantly stepped a good two feet away from Weiyuan. He put his hands in his pockets and looked down. His hair hid his eyes as he dug his toe into the ground. He wasn't going to make anyone else more uncomfortable. He sighed faintly. Did he always do this to people? Force them away?
Bad thoughts ran through his head as his eyes lidded a bit before he looked at Sable. He smiled. "So what brings YOU here? You a native or...?" His voice betrayed his bit of pain. RuiZhi didn't want him. Weiyuan stiffened when Rui left. He was the cause of everything. He shouldn't of come into the picture at all. Stay silent. Stay alone. Make no waves. He thought that had been his plan. But now..

Sable blinked, slightly stunned as RuiZhi quickly made an exit. He glanced back at the pair of boys before looking at the retreating student again. Okay? He was obviously missing something. RuiZhi was upset, and it started when the other two started getting all touchy-feely. He sighed. It wasn't his business, whatever it was.
He looked back over when Rylenn spoke. At least he was being friendly. "Me? I'm...a lab tech. Science. You know." He shrugged sheepishly. It was an adventure, a chance to prove that he was worthy of moving up and on. That wasn't exactly something he wanted to confide to a total stranger, however, and he hoped the redhead would accept the answer her gave him. He couldn't ignore his tone, however. No self-respecting scientist-to-be would look over details like that. "...er...do you guys need to go talk to him, or something?" He raised an eyebrow. He might not be social himself, but he wasn't completely inept. "I can just stay here if you guys want to go talk to him."

Lina nodded to Irame. "Thank you, um....Lady? Lady Irame."
She took a sip from the cup, pouring a few packets of the sugar/sugar substitute into it and taking a sip. It wasn't hot; but it was a good flavor of warm, one that Lina really liked. It warmed and loosened her belly and made her feel a little better--and sleepy.
"What kind of info are you looking for?" she asked.

Henry looked up and over to the elven man. His keen attention shifted to Irame, then Lina, and back to Irame. He gave a slow nod, standing and scratching his jaw. "I'll see if I can compile anything new we've found, as well as the bits you folk seem to already know. You ladies let me know if there's anything else you need." The man nodded to Irame and gave Lina an encouraging smile before turning and walking towards a group of men that a small Chinese boy seemed to be watching.

“Thank you Henry,” Irame said with a smile and a bow of her head. “I am sure that it will be a large help.”
As Henry left Irame looked around, then leaned closer to Lina. “You really must be careful now.” She said placing her hand on Lina’s stomach. “I can help with any pain that you might have, but that does not make you any less…” She looked around once more and lowered her voice. “Well just remember that you must make decisions for both you and the child now. There is more than one life relying on you and you must remember that.” She said, not chiding, just so that Lina would be sure to remember.
