Shucks. I've heard you can't get a hoop the first time you get the piercing in your cartilage. But, if I got one, I'd want a hoop in the first few weeks.

Yeah, the hole closes up more if you put a wire earring in there first.

If you take any earring out the first day you got it done...I think it can start closing overnight..

When I got my second piercings, it had been like seven years since I had gotten my first ones, and for some reason, I thought you were supposed to take them out and clean them every day...
And they closed up in like two seconds.
I got them re-pierced the next day, though. ^^;;

I'm a little daring I never went to any piercing place to get my ears pierced I pierced them myself with a earring, not the smartest thing to do but hey it worked out pretty well

I had to ask just because some people say they don't feel the piercing at all...but they say cartilege ones hurt a lot...
You pierced your ears with an earring? OW! eek . My ears get sore if I'm having an off day and pierce the dull earrings into area of the ear that has no hole...but you were okay after that, Kuu-chan? No infection?

Having three cartilidge piercings, I can say that, yes...they do hurt a lot. ^^;; Can't sleep on that side of my head for a couple weeks. xP
