Without Aeris dying, she and Tifa would have gotten into a huge fight over Cloud, which resulted in them killing each other. Cloud would have been thankful to Sephiroth for killing Yuffie and dropped all thoughts of revenge on him and went about his life... and the world would have been destroyed since there was no one to stop Sephy... or the weapons.
eek What an interesting turn of events.
What would happen if Cloud and Sephiroth switched swords?

Then Cloud would inadvertantly stab all his team mates because his sword is longer than he is used to while Sephiroth would break his back trying to lift a sword a good two to three times heavier than his own.
Sure, all of Avalanche is dead, but at least Sephiroth's crippled.... Bad trade...
What if Yuffie was a cheeto flavor? How'd she taste?

then, AVALANCHE would never have made it to defeat Sephiroth because everybody would either be dead from the initial explosion when she cooked something or would have died from extremely horrible food poisoning.
What would happen if you could have Cloud go on a date with Sephiroth instead of Aeris, Tifa, or Barret in the gold saucer?
