I would like some real Necromatic spells. Like raising the dead to serve as my minions. I know Shadow would love that too, she is listed as a purple mage. Specializing in summons and other minions.
Also I would like an alternate spell to fireball, that has a similar effect. But isn't fireball. Anything but fireball.

Well...
Fireball is 3x magic damage on one turn
Poison is 3x magic damage over 3 turns
...
Is that close enough?

There's an item already planned that Shadow would likely appreciate. mrgreen
As for other summoning spells, I want to make sure they're balanced so that a casual user can get some benefit from them, but a dedicated summoner won't be overpowered unless monsters concentrate on killing summons. There's always the 1x summon hard cap, but I'd rather not go down that road, as it doesn't particularly make a summoning character enjoyable.
Perhaps I'd be more inspired if the necromancy school RP thread wasn't so lonely, eh? rofl

Don't think that the thought of a few other RP threads hadn't crossed my mind. rofl
The only problem is there are so many potential schools of magic, and methinks it would go a bit crazy if I gave each one a thread. And then there are the fighters to consider...

Don't forget defensive abilities! If we are going to have special magic, and special attack abilites we need defensive ones too.
I really want an ability called Reversal. Like if my defense is higher than the other guys attack then inflict the difference as damage. So if they are pretty close to my defense they only take a minor hit. But if a zombie with 2 attack tries to break through my 12 defense he's gonna get blasted into next Tuesday.
We need more defensive abilities and magic. Maybe a reflect spell? Bounce the spell at a random target. Maybe assign a number to each player and then use the random number generator to see who it hits.
