Keaton smiled as he pulled his arms to his chest the leaves on his glowing. he nearly instantly rushed the cat type and slashed the purugly.

Ceres looked at the dustox and ran up to it and bit it with her horns.

the moth pokemon fired off a blast of psychic energy

Ceres took the hit and immedately began to cry. the tears her signature move. fake tears.

The grunt laughed "Bah what a pathetic pokemon Dustox use gust"
the moth obliged flapping it's heavily buffeting Ceres with wind

Ceres continued to cry. She loved to play like this, she enjoyed the attention.

The grunt noticed that her dustox was starting to lag. "Dustox use moonlight"
the moth type used the low light that was around and unfortunately from Caliga

Ceres frowned slightly but it would seem to anyone else that she was just getting sadder.

Ceres continued to cry she was starting to get tired of her act but she kept on at it because she knew she could take the moth out with ease.

the moth landed and folded it's wings on it's self protectivly

Ceres stopped crying and ran up clamping her horns at the dustox to no avail

The rocket grunt smirked "Little tougher than i thought Dustox use gust"
the moth fley up flapping it's wings hard buffeting ceres again.

Ceres smiled and began to cry again the dark power causing the dustox to fall over.
Dustox -70 -5/270 remaining. Dustox fainted
the rocket grunt ran away "See ya sucker"

Mine is kinda cool" She held out her hand and starting from her palm a green light expanded forming the staff she carried around since she left dewford after the surgery. "I have been having some fun" she sighed as she looked at chloe in her new gauntlets. Julian was neat because he was becoming a hybrid. but sasha only knew that her psychic powers were comming back quickly, but there were other things that were leaving. She pointed the staff at Ceres, her hair began to move on it's own small green particles moving from the staff to the pokemon healing her.
Daisuke looked at Caliga his leaves beganing to darken in color, the photosynthsis using the diffrent light type in a diffrent way. "It's a good kinda interesting" he said with a small smile hoping that miyuki's comment didn't offend Caliga
Miyuki frowned she had an empty bladder so she couldn't pee on the two so she settled on hopping into sasha's free arm and snuggling up with her glaring at everyone. It would remind chloe of a certian weavile of hers. Miyuki looked at the Ice type with some interest only as an ally

Have challenged Felix to a double battle! The first grunt recalled the Glameow with a curse, as the second stepped forward to take over the battle from here, ordering her Beautifly to attack. "Use another Absorb!" she demanded of the butterfly, who flit over to Brom, latching on again as it sapped the Sudowoodo's energy once more, healing itself in the process. {{-40 Brom, +20 Beautifly}} Lv. 18 Hp 140/140 Tackle- 20 Absorb- 20 gain 1/2 Hp Gust- 20 Poison Sting- 10 Exp: +40 split between battlers

Chloe smiled to Julian's comment, "Thanks," she nodded, "Now if only I can figure out how to work 'em, I'd be set," she laughed.
"But yeah, Bray, Kaya, and I did some researching in the library at Canalave. It actually has to do with a legend that surrounds Kaya's homeland," she explained, trying to recall what they had learned.
"Basically those who come in contact with Kaya, and those who are close to him, are supposed to come across weapons and armor to help defend his home."
"Mmmm, let's see if I can remember right," Chloe murmured, looking to the roof of the cavern for a moment as she tried to recall the words on the book that Kaya had found.
"The Poison type weapon gives its user the ability to withstand any poison, I think," she recalled, "Its blade is also poisoned, and can easily kill anyone," she nodded.
Entreri was watching the corridors ahead. If Chloe was too stupid to keep an eye out, he might as well do it for her. However, the problem wasn't that he sensed anything. It was more like he couldn't sense anything. And that's what was bothering him.

Felix silently called back the sudowoodo. He could remember when he had treated pokemon like these grunts did, it hadn't been until a few months ago that he had changed. It had been finding, taking care of Gigi's egg and finally the moment that she had hatched to make him realize that pokemon weren't tools, though it was hard to be grateful to the little brat.
'You're still battling, pick the fifth ball on your belt and get on with it.' the voice commanded, and Felix obeyed, sending out a girafarig, who stomped her hoofs on the ground a bit. 'It's nice to be out of my ball.' she commented, and then before Felix could say anything she charged at the Beautifly and reared up before stomping down on the butterfly pokemon.

Brayden shifted slightly, looking to the buckler he had come across with a slight nod, "I'll give that a shot," he smiled, looking up to Kaya with another nod. Perhaps if he tried while he was near the water? That seemed to make sense, considering it would be easier to draw from a large source than to bend a smaller free source to his will.
Maybe then he'd have an easier time connecting with the power that was locked inside the shield. That was the best Brayden could come up with. He recalled that it was supposed to give him the power to breathe underwater, as well as control moisture.
Brayden paused for a moment, recalling... wait, there was that time in Petalburgh Woods in the river... Hmmmm... Back then he had attributed it to the lingering Vaporeon DNA in his system, although that power seemed to have dissipated since that brief moment where he had seemingly exhausted its abilities while trying to find that pendant.
Could that brief moment also be attributed to the buckler?
Filing that away to ponder later, Brayden watched as Felix finished wrapping up his battle.

"But it seems that these artifacts choose their own wielder," she nodded, "So you may have been chosen by your weapon without having met Kaya to begin with," she smiled.
