which reminds me. should i keep it pencil, or ink it? if i keep it pencil, it'll have more of a personality, but if i use ink, it'll look a lot cleaner. whaddya say?

i agree. there's something more robust about pencil lines. the clone picture i did, i used pencil exclusively until i photoshopped it, and i left the shading lines. i have some inked stuff i colored on the comp, but it looks more like cell animation unless i use photoshop effects to the extreme.

i'll probably photoshop this heavily. you notice it looks different (and slightly better) each time i do it... i'll add shadows and better lighting when i finish the line drawing. so far what i've shown has been purely for demonstration purposes.

Nospai, you already told us that the archer was mara jade. You've posted that before, i believe.

my secret? the dodge/burn tool, and the blend tool. ^_~

elements is like a bastardized version of photoshop. i have 4.0, but i have elements somewhere. elements makes it a lot easier... also has most of the basic tools. and about a billion memory saves to ctrl+Z.

8.0 is out, it's on the comp in CA, but not on mine. =(
