((hmm..at last, It's time for...Gray, ver. 2.0!)) xd
Most people problably would have just changed to something else, but Gray actually didn't Have anything else-he washed his clothes at night, usually, be it in a stream, or in a laundry room...in short, no spare shirt.
When he baled out, it wasn't like was looking for a wardrobe while running...
Previously, he may have been too shy to actually look for kayako to request his sweater back, but....
Gray's link to Mercury ran deep, bizzarely so. Whatever effected one, effected the other, even if they didn't realize it.
Gray had been quiet whiel flying back to the ship because of his head feeling hazy, blurred and shifting: his feelings suddenly felt clearer, he felt more confident....
previoously, he might have stopped and gone "how strange..", but now, he just shrugged it off, shaking his head dissmissively.
Gray was sitting on Mercury's shoulder as the mech sat in a crouched posture in the hangar. Gray's barring had changed: he was acting subtly different; not quite so introverted.
Generaly ignoring shouts from the hall about random things and such, Gray examined his arms and legs in a disinterested fashion, as if what he cared about at any given moment was the sole event in the surrounding area.
"Hmmm...It's sore. I'll have to see about that...."
Gray remarked-aloud. Normaly, he thought those things, but rarely spoke.
He rubbed his arms, noticing dull red marks on them where he'd locked them into the control frame.
Gray glanced over at Mercury.
"So, all grown up, now, huh? Geuss I'll have to find out how to handle the new you...however, I need my sweatshirt. That is priority!"
Gray declared in a energetic fashion, as if he ruled the world suddenly. It wasn't a shout, just a absoluteness in his vioce, as if he were speaking to a crowd that listened raptly to his every word. Amusingly, he raised a hand, holding up his pointer finger, jabbing at the ceailing ofr a moment to emphisize his decision.
Sliding down, he walked out of the hanger, a new semi-cocky attitude about him; for that was the best summary of his behavior pattern....

A impatient fist knocked on the door, a rapid series of blows upon Kayako's door, as opposed to the timid, shy aproach he should have favored...
"Kayako. You're in there, right..."

Gray looked up towards the ceiling slightly, raising his hand and pointing up agian, as if giving sage advice. "I am not so shallow. Those who are shallow would easily be pieced through by the harsh rays of truth when the sun comes.... But, since I do not desire it to rise, the sun shall hold back untill I say so."
Gray finished, lowering his arm and holding his sweatshirt with the other. He seemed to have ignored Kayako's line about other sets of clothes, and instead given a cryptic and slightly arrogant response to her accusation of perversion.
He seemed aloof, but unlike his previous shyness, this seemed more like he was bored with the world rather than afraid of it.
Turning, he Checked his sweatshirt breifly, then nodded to it, or maybe to himself.
"You shall have to be washed. -then, what matters now is the luandry room..."
Gray started to walk off, issuing another declaration.
"So! we'll see to this, next-everthing else matters very little untill then."
Gray said seemingly to himself.
It was obvious now that Mercury's shift had cuased a visiable change in personality, but was this new Gray better or worse than the old, edgy one?

The loud crashing of a bat echoed down the hall's. Reiku stood up open the door and saw the bat hit Gray's head he slowly retreated into his room so he woudn't get hit in the head. " Wonder what gray did to deserve a baseball bat to the head?" He rubed his head and and stared at the picture's of drawing's he did before he met Kayako and the gang.

(((In other words, Sho's being Sho...)))

"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! You....THING!!! GET BACK HERE, THING!!"

It is sad when one has truly gone so far that they must be presented with the second rule of traveling in this day and age-When Kayako runs out of insults and starts calling you 'thing', you had better run for your lives.

And here's hoping that he did, because immediately after this occurred, said purple-haired girl armed herself with a vase and chucked it around the corner in Gray's general direction, then ran over and jumped at his legs in hopes of tackling him for unknown and probably non-existent reasons.

"ATTACK!!!!" and these same reasons were probably behind her screaming every action she did. Or maybe her brain was just stopped...as usual.....

Hearing voices, seeing violence, and just generally wanted to get the hell outta there, a certain other girl by the name of Asuka slinked down the opposite hallway and down the stairs to the hangar, avoiding Kayako and her craziness at all costs. The redhead found herself next to the resting LFO Silence, pondering what to do about all this ruckus.

'Well....' she mused 'I could always get Reiku to go up there, maybe wailing on a kid like him would calm her down a bit....'

After a quick glance around the hangar and a laugh, suddenly the redhead noticed something. There was Senturi, Mercury, Silence, Twilight, Jenny, and Glory......but where was that KLF they'd taken on...?

"Wha....Konner...? Now that I think about it, I haven't seen him since we landed..."

Just as Daisuke was starting to doze off he was disturbed by the echo of the altercation that was happening somewhere on the ship. Daisuke had no intention of sticking his nose where it didn't belong so he wasn't going to try to investigate. So Daisuke stood up and walked to the door of his room, slowly opening it.

At this point the only thing he cared about was making sure that the ship had the proper equipment to repair and upgrade his 505 if he was going to be part of the ship's crew. It didn't matter to him that the others onboard didn't trust him but he barely knew them.

"I wonder...." His thoughts were not of what was going on but instead of the equipment onboard the ship. He stepped through the threshold of his door into the hallway, looking from side to side. From his experience on UF ships, he figured that the equipment he was looking for would be in the hangar, so he began heading in the direction he was brought in from. After an intense search and getting lost several times, Daisuke arrived at the hangar. "Now, if I was that equipment where would I be?" He spoke outloud, thinking that he was alone fully unaware of Asuka's presence.

Gray didn't seem to concerned-after all, kayako had just tossed him a bat a second ago, right?
In a smooth, fluid sweep, gray droped to his knees, grabbed the bat, and continued to twist around backwards, even as he straightened back up to face the vase head on.
Gray calmly Brandished the bat.
"Batter up!!"
CRACK!!! TShhh....
Gray swung the bat in a powerfull stroke and smashed kayako's improvised projectile into ceramic dust and pottery shards; the force the bat had placed on it combined with the impact had been too much for it.
Pity....
Gray swung the bat down to his side, and right then something rabid and purple-haired tackled his ankles.
Gray toppled over thanks to the initial shock of being...tackled...
But managed to cut the plunge short with his free hand.
grunting as this action sent a shockwave up his arm, Gray glanced down at Kayako, still not overly concerned.
"How...excessive...! Honestly, if you'd wanted a hug, Kayako, there are less agressive means to get one...." Gray joked, tightening his grip on the bat incase she tried clawing him or something-who knew why she was so mad: it was only a sweatshirt, for gaia's sake!

"Medri, Gray's being a complete TOILET PAPER WAD!" was Kayako's response right after biting the blue-haired boy right on the wrist he held the bat in, not really sure why she said it or why he needed PAIN inflicted upon him. Or why exactly her choice of insults involved bathroom tissue products for that matter. Who knew, she sometimes just lost the rational half of her brain...if it was even there in the first place.

"But still....hehehehehe...." suddenly, the purple rabid thing lowered her head, letting her hair fall over her eyes ominously and started to laugh in a dark and evil fashion. Just then, she suddenly grabbed Gray by the legs and flipped him right over himself as she stood up with gusto, one fist in the hair while she smirked in victory.

"YE HATH BEEN BEATEN, THING!! THE BEAUTIFUL HEROINE WINS AGAIN!!!"

Smiling Kayako waved to Medri, twirled around in a dramatic fashion and walked off, right after she put a small hallway trashcan over the boy's head. No real reason, she was just in a 'mood'. Plus, he deserved it.......she was SURE of it. Whistling a tune, she rounded the corner and started towards some random place, probably the kitchen as she hadn't eaten yet.

((Beautiful heroin?!? O__O Kayako, I hope you know that's how you spell the drug. Don't worry, I fixed it for you! ^__^ All you needed was an "e." razz -rekk))

Nicole had made her way to some of the people who needed some basic medical attention. Cleaning and wrapping the wounds that she knew how to take care of, and taking them to places where they could rest.
Soon after she left to go wash some of the blood off her hands and go do something less emotional. Maybe I'll go check on that new guy Kayako brought back. she thought to herself and made a turn for his room.
