Chupi the Terrible Mademoiselle Fraise Chupi the Terrible Mademoiselle Fraise I managed 83% for the science test. I didn't study overnight. I knew already that physics was the study of the behaviour of organisms and the reason why, geology is the study of the earth, NOT organisms. But I didn't look at my notes for graphing and tabulation! gonk
Matter is composed of atoms. Atoms compose up cells. Each cell has a different duty to do. Cells make organelles, a number of organs working together is called a system. That's what I remember, it's all a little confusing. @_____@ I feel I missed some points.
We might dissect something soon, yay. surprised No no no. @_@ Cells make tissues, tissues make organs. Organelles are the little bits and pieces floating around inside of cells. Kkk.
Phew, I have a terrible memory when I am not supplied with visuals or media. Curse my super photographic memory. Must memorize! @_@ Becka, Whitney and I spent the whole science lesson muttering to ourselves. Becka: "Atoms make cells." Elishia: "Cells make tissue." Whitney: "Tissue make organellies." Science teacher: "They're organelles, get it right!"
Every organism in the universe is made of atoms. Atoms compose cells, and each cell has a different duty to do. Cells make tissues, tissues make organs.
My science textbook made it so hard to look for information, gaah. It was just a big block of words. Think about it this way... Organelles are like organs, but the name is "cuter." So, they are too. =O Which means they're smaller. They are the cutesy organs of the cell, which composes tissue, which composes organs, which composes systems. My science teacher described it similar to "miniature organs". I get it, but I don't get it. >_<
It's strange, I tend to memorise songs (Bratja from FMA for example. I don't even need the music. 'Tis second nature to me), images and faces instantly, but chinese characters and scientific information takes a longer time to process, but languages are easy for me to learn.
For instance, I can remember every little detail about the man sitting opposite me on the tram and I only saw him once, but I can't remember my chinese characters and I see them at least 6 times a week.

XP But other than that...SPAAAAAAAAAAM!....sorry, random moment. I'm a vegetarian. talk2hand But still drink milk and such, yes? Because despite vegan propoganda, it is scientific fact that removing all animal products from a human's diet WILL kill them. Why? Vitamin B12. It's an essential nutrient that humans cannot produce, and that is only found in animal products, period. But humans don't need much, so they can often go many a year living on our body's reserves of it. Still, once that runs out they croak. (This also disproves the entire concept of humans being meant to be herbevores, as if that were true then every generation would have a mere fraction of B12 that their mother had, and she would soon die because of losing from her reserve to make the child. Assuming she survived to a point where the child was no longer dependant, the child would still have little or none left by then and die themselves. Humans would have never taken off as a species at all. And you can get synthetic B12 suppliments now, but it basically destroys your liver.)

Technically, in scientific terms I still am an.. omnivore. >>;;

Chupi the Terrible What's to be dissected, anyway? Er... Answer in the OOC thread, as it seems more appropriate than conitnuing said conversation here. Chicken wings. :3
Simple, but I might as well draw chicken wings correctly. Animals are not my forte. It may seem pretty useless, but my friend loves chickens, I might as well draw her a portrait of her hens just in time for her birthday.
Perhaps I should take up a medical career, and I could dissect human corpses.. ninja

Oh yes, I've got anatomy books, but it's better for me to do things hands-on.
I asked my art teacher for some books on anatomy, but they were rather useless to me. You can only go so far with books.

Oh, and I have no money. xP My parents wouldn't want to waste their money on books for my own sake. However I am fine with my very thick, very informative and very disorganized Pocket Anatomica.
