no no no Bellatrix was a head mistress!! she couldent possibly be young. but my god did she have to be that ugly? in my head he was this beautiful big woman. in my head he was wearing pale blue silk, not big nasty heavy looking robes, her hair was up in a bun, not tight like crazy but loose and elegant. she looked amazing in my head. but no0o0o0o she was like someones fat grandmother who noone wanted to talk to cuz she looked as crazy as she was. i mean jeez people this is FRANCE the land of love and beauty! ...she looked frumpy british queen type person to me on screen (no offence to the brits) and dont even get me started on how WAY OFF Sirius is.

Bellatrix Lestrange headmistress? I think not dear. Phineus Nigellus (I hope his name is spelled at least close to what it really is) was a headmaster, but not Bellatrix.

I am dissapointed (sp?) at the order of the third movie because the firebolt was at the end when it was supposed to add to the threat of sirius Black and they put it at the end! that was messed up and i think Mike Newell did a horrible job in the layout of movie he left out so much info if a person who only watched the movies of Harry Potter they would be so confused. The best director by far has been Chris Columbus he followed the plot to the "T" and put in much detail. I only hope the OotP director can measure up.

The movies actors are good, like the characters were portrayed well on screen. However rthey took way too much out of the plot.

I liked the movies but they do leave out too much detail. I think the characters are fitting enough and some say not enough passion goes into writing those screenplays but I liked them anyways. My favorite movies was Goblet of Fire so far.

Bellatrix was never anything close to a Headmistress, and the OotP has absolutely nothing to do with France. She's supposed to look crazy! She's been in Azkaban for fourteen years. She IS crazy! Bellatrix was probably once as beautiful as Narcissa with the same gorgeous looks Sirius inherited. But now she's a psycho and she's out to kill whoever her master lets her kill.

SaphiraJade Who is directing OotP? Something Yates isn't it? Yeah, David Yates. I haven't really seen anything that he's done before, but I guess that'll depend on how he does on the 5th Harry Potter movie.

I'm new here so I have no idea what has been said to this point but, The movies where ok in the begining but they became progressivly worse. I understand that not all the information can be put into a movie, like the Goblet of Fire, but still they choose to take out some of the most important stuff, or just change it completely... I won't be seeing the fifth movie until it is free on demand.

Well, neither do I, but the first Dumbledore died after Chamber of Secrets. So they had to pick one. Personally, I think Ian Mckellon would have made a better dumbledore than the newer guy.

My biggest issue with the movies was the color of Harry's eyes..THEY WERE GREEN! I don't understand how hard it would've been to just make Daniel Radcliffe wear contacts!! I mean, JK even opened the first book (well, sort of) with the color of Harry's eyes being key in his physical description..I just don't understand the reasoning behind his eyes not being green

They tried. Dan tried contacts in part of the first movie, but it iritated his eyes so much that they wouldn't make him wear them. Then they tried special effects photography and photoshop, but Dan said that he'd rather go with his own eye color, because the touched-up shots made him look too fake.
