Kaleb floated the little rose to sit on top of the box of expensive chocolates, and took another sip of his drink. He thought perhaps he was enjoying it too much, but Riley said it was okay, so that thought was easy enough to dismiss. It didn't really taste like alcohol...

He had his drink half drunk buy the the middle of the movie. Looking at Kaleb he grinned. "Ya like tha movie so far?" He was horribly dorky and silly but at least it was entertaining.

Kaleb smiled back and nodded enthusiastically, but by that point he had matched Riley's drinking speed and the alcohol was starting to get to him. Even if it was only a little, it still made him feel pleasantly warm and relaxed.

"Good." He didn't want to make Kaleb watch something that he wouldn't like. "Want another drink?" He finished off his and got up so he could get another one.

Kaleb hesitated a bit. "Yes, but... are you sure it would be okay?" he asked. It was good, and he was really close to finishing off his first drink, but two might be too much for him.

"Yea. It'll be fine." He waved his hand and headed for the kitchen. Two would be fine. Not as bad as those damn drinks that Reno got him.

Kaleb smiled again and snuggled against the couch. If Riley wasn't concerned about him drinking, he shouldn't have anything to worry about. Riley wouldn't take advantage of him like Reno would so he knew he was in good hands.

He flopped back on the couch and set Kaleb's other drink on the table to be picked up when he finished the one he had. "Jus'don't drink it too fast"

The little mage nodded, he kind of remembered what happened the last time he drank too much too fast, and it hadn't been pleasant. He didn't want that to happen at Riley's place as well, tonight was supposed to be fun.

He snickered at the movie and got comfortable on the couch again. "So ya wanna watch somethin sappy after this .. or somethin in subtitles?"

"I don't know, you pick," he said with a smile, and finished his drink. He reached for another chocolate kiss before he went after his second drink, and carefully unwrapped it before sticking it in his mouth.

He stole one of Kaleb's chocolates as he flipped between the channels for the sappy movie and the subtitled one. The French movie looked pretentious so he stuck with the sappy one.

Kaleb started into his second drink after a couple minutes, idly sipping at it as he watched the movie Riley had chosen. He didn't think it was as entertaining as the first one, but he still didn't mind watching it. He was undeniably feeling the effects of the first drink by that point, and more than once he had to catch himself before he attempted to lean on Riley's shoulder or just lie down and relax.

"If ya wanna lean on me ya can." He looked over at Kaleb before taking a sip of his drink. It wasn't like he complained when Kaleb leaned on him normally.

Kaleb smiled happily and shifted over a bit so he could lean easier now that he had permission, except he missed Riley's shoulder entirely and fell into his partner's lap with a surprised little noise. "Whoops," he said with a bright blush.
