the kitten was really cute and furry. Like Miiya's Tako-san. Except that this one was alive.
Miiya envied the boy a lot.
((my parents went out for awhile, I'll use this opportunity to watch anime so byebye for awhile!))

Closing her book Miho moved inside the hall in search of what was causing all the noise. Miho blinked at the flash of white fur in the crowd. An animal? She would have sworn that animals weren’t allowed in this school.
Not that she didn’t like animals, she loved them, but she would have sworn they weren’t allowed in the school. Peering closer she noticed the animal rubbing about a boy’s legs. Was it his? It appeared to be… a kitten?

Through the crowds, Roka thought he caught sight of a familiar face. Yes! The girl he had seen eariler that morning! The one who had walked into a tree. Oh, but he hadn't caught her name...
"Hey, um...'scuse me!" he called to her from his seat on the ground, waving a hand. "Could you help me, please? I really have to get out of here..."

Miho blinked. The boy from earlier? He sounded desperate, with a soft sigh she headed over. Her eyebrows quirked “You got lost in the school hall?” Okay, so that had been sarcastic, but it was just too odd to miss making a snide comment about.
“Okay. Follow me, exit is this way” With an almost friendly smile she turned and headed towards the exit, glancing back occasionally to make sure he was still with her. Humans were stupid and annoying but she wasn’t truly mean and she was unwilling to simply leave someone who seemed distressed.
((xDD I don't think Miho plays THAT part very often *purrchew*))

((^^ ROFL, indeed. Then again, carefree Roka isn't often that desperate, either. Is this the beginning of a budding, reluctant new friendship? XD 'Tis the antisocials!))
"Hey, it's not my fault it filled up so fast! I was in the library!" Roka protested, getting up off the floor. He had narrowly missed being stepped on. What, were the students expected Miss Ayame to return soon?
Nonetheless, he was grateful for the girl's attention, even if she was just about as friendly as she had been previously. In any case, they were even now - he had laughed at her for the tree incident, and now she could have her laugh at him. The only thing that mattered to Roka at the moment was his sisters and the kitten - two disasters just waiting to happen.
"Wait, what - ?" Caught off guard for a moment, the boy glimpsed what he thought was a smile, but not a mocking one. Confused and surprised that the girl would so easily agree to help him without any terms or further jeering, he went along after her, but in a rather dazed state.
He almost lost her twice among the crowd, each time a close call. In the end, however, he caught up to her as she paused to check on him every now and then. "Thanks," he gasped, nearly out of breath as he leaned over onto his knees. "Miss...ah, what was it?"
Stupid! He had forgotten he hadn't asked her name! She must have thought him an idiot. And yet niether of them knew the other well enough yet, it seemed. Roka would have never guessed in a million years the girl would help him. Not this one. Maybe she's hoping to have me owe her, Roka thought randomly, seeking an explaination, his mind racing.

Chihaya was frustrated. She had left One set of her hair bells in the restroom. Now, where exactly was the restroom again?
She saw a girl leaving the hall with a guy in tow just then, and decided ask her for directions.
Tapping her on the shoulder, Chihaya said, "Ano.. Could you please tell me directions to the washroom..? I sort of.. forgot how to get there..."

It took Miiya a long while to notice that Tako-san wasn't on her shoulder.
Oh dear.
With a cry of panic, she started looking everywhere for the stuffed toy. It was her second most valued possession , first being the doll. Did she drop it anywhere? She couldn't really remember...

'Tako-chan! Tako-chan! where are you?' thought Miiya. If she'd shouted out for it, people would only stare. She didn't want to be stared at at all.
She decided to approach people that she had met before so that she could ask if they had seen tako-chan falling off her shoulder. This way it'd be easier for her to find the stuffed toy.
She spotted Chiha and the girl who had sat next to her previously near the hall entrance.
She was about to approach them and ask,"Hey, um.. have you.. uh, seen my octopus anywhere?"

The girl's eyes immediately widened in shock as the kitten leaped out of her arms and began lavishing her attention on a boy. What's more, a girl squealed so loudly that her eardrums could have broken. Groaning, Minori pushed through the crowd hastily; she was scared that someone might step on the kitten. Reaching her destination, Minori bent down and scooped the kitten into her arms, ducking her head abashedly. "Sorry, "She murmured, giving a slight bow to the two, and weaved her way out again. The kitten was a little annoyed at her mistress for doing that, but gave her best "I'm innocent" look.
Spotting Miiya looking frantic, she approached her, "What's wrong?" Rosemarie was delighted at the prospect of another person and meowed at the rather cute girl.

People, too many of them, Miho needed to get out into the open soon. She jumped as she felt someone’s hand touch her shoulder and a voice asking her directions. Great, help one person and everyone thought you knew what you were doing and that you were willing to help. With a sigh she turned and studied the girl. “I really wouldn’t know any better than you would since I haven’t been there. The only reason I know where the exit is, is because I just came from it. Actually you’d probably know where the bathroom is better than I would since you’ve already been there once.” With an only half way polite nod she turned away and started for the exit again, checking to make sure the boy was still following her.
“Welcome.” She spoke back over her shoulder, not bothering to turn her head very far. “Tamura, Miho. Class 1B. You are?” She noticed him studying her, he probably though she wanted something from him. She couldn’t help snorting softly; anyone else in this school would probably expect something for their help. For one she highly doubted that anything he could offer she wanted and two she didn’t believe in personal debts.
((Awww... I guess she's not ready to be THAT nice))

Miiya was rather surprised that someone had asked her if something was wrong. Was she that noticeable?
She had the kitten with her. Oh, so it was hers, after all? Confusing.
"I uh.. lost Tako-Chan." she said, while eyeing the kitten. "My octopus stuffed toy." she quickly added, as she probably did not know what Miiya had meant.

"Okay! I ask someone else then!" Chirped Chiya, and, oh, what a coincidence! Along came a certain girl...
"Miiya-chaaaaan~!" Chihaya saw the adorable girl come up and ask the same girl whether she had seen a certain Tako-san. "Hyaaa! You even talk cutely!" She glomped the poor little Miiya.
And then another cute thing appeared. The kitten. Chihaya peered down, still clinging onto Miiya, and grinned at it. "Why, hello!"
