"Fine I'll fihgt like I normally do." In seconds she was gone. "Come find me." Her voice cam from a few different spots as she watched him from the woods. Himi walked out from behind a tree, loking as the girl, careful to avoid making the same mistakes as before they both watched him before attacking at once. "Now Himi!" Mai-lin called and at the same time the two jumped into the air and threw kunai down at him.

"This is more like it!" Kei called as he did a few back flips and hid behind a pole to avoid the deadly kunai. Now, how to do this? he thought and pulled some shruiken from his pouch. He jumped out from behind the pole and threw them at both of them, hoping to find out which was the real Mai-lin.

One jumpped while the other just shrunk until it was himi. Mai-lin let out a small growl to the dog who just whimpered in reply, causing the girl to shake her head before turning back to Kei. "That all you got?"

Anekio laughed. "Wait up, I'll come with. The last bunch could barely handle that acient bell test." She laughed, running up to Tori. "Besides, they aren't defenceless, they choose not to."

Now would be a good time to practice my jutsus. Kei pulled a smoke bomb from his pouch and threw it, filling the area with smoke. That won't work for long with Himi's sense of smell. He ran into the woods and pulled out some wire, then quickly went to work.

Himi barked and Mai-lin nodded through the smoke. The girl dropped to the ground and started to crawl around, smelling for Kei's scent.

Kei hid up in a tree, shruiken in his hands, waiting for Mai-lin to appear. Attached to the wires he set up were kuni, he used his rubber ones though as he didn't want to actually wound or kill her. As soon as she shows, I cut the wires...

Mai-lin stood up as the smoke cleared. She looked around, still trying to smll the boy. She took a step closer to where she though he was, waiting for him to jump out and attack her

Come on, just a little farther in... Kei thought as he tightened his grip on the shruiken. Let's see how many you can dodge and if you'd be killed... "What's a matter, Mai-lin? Too afraid to come after me?" He called, but quietly so she'd have trouble finding his exact location.

Tori nodded. "I've put a little twist on that test. I let Fuki carry the bells and the team has to get them from her. There's been a couple of close calls, but no one's succeeded yet." She smiled and looked up at her friend who circled above them. "Anyway, where shall we start looking? They could be anywhere."

"No way! She growled, taking another step closer. "You're the one hdingfrom me. And member, I don't need your voice to track you. I can smell you." She called out, sniffing and once again folowing his scent.

One more step....now! Kei threw his shruiken, cutting the wires and sending the rubber kuni flying from every direction to where Mai-lin stood. He then threw a kuni and cut another wire which set off a flash bomb. Heh, let's see her dodge them now...

When Mai-lin saw the flash she knew she wouldn't be able to see anything so she closed her eyes and listened. She manged to dodge some but most hit her. She yelped slightly and opened her eyes again, letting them adjust again. "You win, Kei." She muttered, defeated.

Kei jumped down from his hiding place and gave her a smile. "Don't let it get to you, you were great. Besides, I spend most of my time training with my older brother who's a Chuuin." He reached into his pocket and pulled out another lollipop. "One for putting up a good fight."

Mai-lin laughed and grabbed the lollipop. "Thanks." She stood up. "You're really good. I'm glad those weren't real kunai. I would have been dead. I'll have to remember that trick both to look out for it and to use it." She smiled at him. "I'm kinda hungry, wanna go get something to eat?"
