Alexa-sama ZeekSlider POKEMATH QUESTION! Assuming that Gyarados can learn Fly and that the battle it is in is against an electric type while Rain Dance is going on, how much damage would Gyarados end up taking if struck by a Thunder Attack while Flying? Show your work!

There'd be x1.5 'cause the move is the same type as the Pokémon... Nothing for Rain Dance since it only powers up Water-Type moves.. x2 since Water is weak to Thunder.. Another x2 'cause Flying is weak to Thunder... Assuming that the attacking Pokémon isn't holding anything..
x6 damage?Close enough. xp I was looking for a number with the base attack of Thunder and all that fun stuff. And Rain dance does do something to Thunder. It makes it never miss. On top of that, when a flying pokemon is in the air, Thunder doubles. Am I the only one that sat through the Stadium2 teacher?!

Zacius Why isn't she scanning and shooting everything that moves? Or is she just in the scanning phase Give her a break.. She just finished filming Echoes. She's on vacation.

ZeekSlider Zacius Thunder Couldn't hit him while he was flying Yeah it can. I've been on the receiving end of that every time I use Fly in the Challenge cup, so I know it can hit when you use Fly, just like how Earthquake now can hit you when you use Dig.

Alexa-sama Plus, I never knew that Thunder attacks did x2 damage to a Flying-Type if it was using Fly or Sky Attack while hit,. Not during Sky Attack, but during Fly because it is "in the air" in G/S/C
