I've been reading the Dexter series by Jeff Lindsay, i.e. Darkly Dreaming Dexter and Dearly Devoted Dexter. It's very dark (tis to be expected of a book about a serial killer) but very intriguing!

Well, I havn't posted in a wile... so long I hardly remember how many books I have read.... god..... at least two dosen! Just stick to what I have just finished.
Recently finished: Inkheart
I loved that story! OOOOHH! I felt like I was right there in the action, and it was so artfuly written. If it was written any other way the fourth wall would have been broken... in fact it probably was but not desprately so. Still, wonderful story I would highly reccomend it. I am debateing weather or not I want to read the second one though, since the first one ended so perfectly... Dosn't seem like it needs a sequil.
Just started: An Unexpected apprentice
The reviews all say, in short "What the Lord of the rings would be like if Frodo or Bilbo where female" Sounds promicing if you ask me! 3nodding

I'm half way through Captive by Tom Pow. It has two different story lines. One from the fathers point of view and one from his son.

I feel like I haven't posted here in a long time! I'd list all the books I've read since I last posted but I can't remember them all and that would mean I need to look up authors so I won't.
Recently finished: Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
I've had the book for atleast a month but I haven't felt like reading it until a friend asked to borrow it and I didn't want to lend it to anyone until I read it first. It was great though.
Currently reading: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
I got half-way through it when I first got the book and then instantly lost interest in it. I'm only getting back to it just now. sweatdrop

Currently Reading: Walden by Henry David Thoreau The Selected Short Stories of Maxim Gorky Caligula by Albert Camus
Walden has proved to, so far, to be rather intersting and thought provoking. However, there are several points on which I greatly disagree with Thoreau. This is, of course, the place at which I will not delve into those points.
Maxim Gorky, however, has been to some extent my liesure reading. His short stories are wonderfully entertaining. They, in general, take very simple and everyday happenings or situations and Gorky makes the interesting. This can be said of many writers, but, to me, that is a mark of a wonderful piece of liesure literature.
Caligula is an interesting play, to be vague. It is deffinetly not something you would desire to read if you dislike the morbid or are not well disposed to cynicism. However, if you are a fan of Albert Camus' other writing, Caligula will prove to be another worthwhile read by Mr. Camus.
