May looked up at Kyle and nodded her head. "Okay. Have a nice rest of the day." She said as she finished off her salad. 'I got a friend.' She took a drink and looked at the card. 'Where to put this?' she thought. She then placed it in a small pocket in bag the she carried with her. She stood up as the plates were taken away. "Thank you." She said with a smile. Her personality was about to change. "Were to now?" She asked herself out-loud. May then made her way to the exit wondering upon where to go next.

The place really was scarce of people. Rezzo sighed and dug up her sketchbook from under the cans of paint and pill jar. She flicked through a few pages and fished out a pen from her messenger bag. Her calloused and bandaged fingers made swift gestures over the pale face of a blank page and brought some willful fantasy of hers to life in two-dimensional tangibility. Rezzo's flaming irises concentrated on nothing else other than the image that was thrust upon the paper with her strong hands.

Kyle gave a yawn as he rubbed sand from the corners of his eyes upon entering the dining hall. He went up to order a slice of strawberry pie and, with plate and fork in hand, sat at a random table. A random table that Rezzo just so happened to be sitting on. He looked at her with a smile. "Good evening." Then Kyle took his first bite of his strawberry pie slice.

The girl's eyes snapped up after this other sat down at the table she was atop. She studied him for a moment and then he spoke, so she answered, as she had to. "Yeh, g'evenin'." She lifted the pen once again and scrutinized it for a brief moment. Then she, in a swift, violent motion, snapped the writing end off of it, tossing it aside with a splash of ink hitting her face. She made jerky stabbing motions down at the paper, splattering black ink in great, gory gashes. She was satisfied with her macabre after a few seconds and gave a grunt of approval to punctuate her smirk.

Chewing and swallowing the bite of pie, Kyle watched the girl as she seemingly massacred the paper. When she was done, his eyes widened with amazement for a moment at the picture. "With a great talent for artwork, there must be a name for such a being as yourself. Mine's Kyle."

"Dis ding?" she asked, gesturing at her sketchbook with her digits bandaged in neon yellow. "My art earns me no name. But 's Rezzo." She set the sketchbook back down on the table, pulling the pill jar into her lap in its stead. "And what gives ya yar name? Some oder magic from yar mind an' fingers?" She grinned at him, screwing the lid of the jar off with no heed to it.

As if her question had prompted the reaction, Kyle let his black-feathered angel wings spread out. He smiled and said, "Just a simple half-angel. Nice to meet you, Rezzo." The dim halo appeared again as he selected the biggest strawberry from the slice of pie and popped it into his mouth.

Rezzo blinked at the display and shoved her hand into the jar of pills without much more thought. "Da's different," she said aloud, lifting a few of the drugs to her lips before swallowing them, chased by nothing but saliva. "But, yeh, sure, ya too." Rezzos' grimace twisted though and her brow furrowed. "Dammet, swallaed meh gum...."

His eyes went from Rezzo's gas mask and hair to the band-aids on her fingers. "Nothing I can do about that, but I could probably heal whatever is under those bandages, if you'd let me." Kyle held up his left hand and the fingertips began to glow after a moment.

Rezzo watched Kyle's fingers while they glowed. She watched them like a cat would observe some foreign intruder in its territory. "No, I don' wannit," she stated strongly. "It donnit hurt anyway, no need" She coughed a few times and put her pill jar away. "Danks for de concern, aye." She folded her arms over her chest and leaned over, pressing her elbows to her knees.

The glow dimmed until it had vanished completely from his fingertips. Kyle shrugged with a smile. "Alright then. You don't happen to like music that's mostly techno, do you?" He ate more of his pie slice. Lord almighty, these are the sweetest strawberries I've ever tasted.

"Hm? Ah, well, I don' mind it." Rezzo tilted her head to one side as if it had no proper muscles to hold it up. "Techna alone 's a bit soft. I much like de heavier stuff." A grin cracked over her sideways face as she continued. "Indust'ral. 'S mo' badass. De dark riffs and de creepy grindin' perpet'ate meh art. I dig it."

As Kyle listened to Rezzo, an eyebrow raised as he swallowed the portion of pie. "Maybe you and I should get together more often then. I've been growing bored of the songs I normally mess with..." He said before realizing that he hadn't told her an important detail yet. "You see, I'm a deejay but at the moment I only have mostly techno songs."

Rezzo nodded in a large motion, showing understanding; she added a, "Yeah, yeah," to accompany it. "Nah, I know some good stuff. Ya can ask anyding 'bout de music." A twist of spine had her sitting back up to a more upright position. "Dese bands are meh fav'rites," as if to illustrate, she pulled up her sketchbook again and flipped it open to respective pages with band logos in the corners to mark the original works she'd filled the page with. "Angelspit...an' Skinny Puppy...some dis Rob Zombie and Voodou. Not for dose who can't handle de poisons in some words." Rezzo gave him a serious sort of nod.

His eyes widened yet again as he briefly studied the logos and original works, left breathless at the amazing work done. Kyle recovered in a matter of 3 seconds before saying, "I'm quite sure I'll be able to handle it. The thing is that I mix songs according to what the public enjoy. Some of my personal favorite mixes are only admired by a select few. Perhaps you could give me your opinion once I become familiar with the songs?"
