Will hadn't drunk anything before the moonshine, he was well used to drinking the powerful liquor, and he hadn't drunken more than two-thirds of his glass. As such, although he had a major buzz going on, he wasn't drunk to the point where he was devoid of all inhibitions. Only years of training and his meditation abilities allowed him to remain in relative control of his hormones. Crap, s**t, shiste, and other forms of excrement! OK Will, you can handle this. You can handle an attractive, desirable woman who seems to be coming onto you in a drunken stupor. Breathe in, breathe out, count to ten, count to ten backwards, calculate the square root of phi, ignore all urges from below the waist.... Man, this is not good, not good at all. Fuc... No, no, no! Not going there! Bad thoughts! Baaaaaaaddddddd thoughts! Think of something smooth to say, quick! Work brain! WORK!!!

Forcing down both a nearly atomic blush and the need for a REALLY cold shower, Will carefully untangled himself from Dee. Standing, he held out his hand and gave her a winning smile which was half compassionate smile and half cocky grin. "Well, m'lady, since your bored, shall you accompany me to the dance floor where we shall dance both the night and our cares away?"

Deidre giggled, a drunken blush seemingly permanently etched on her face. "Ah never woulda pegged you for a dancin' man," she snickered, still swaggering now and then, grabbing his shoulder for support when she did. She took his hand in hers, pausing for a moment to think of something. It looked like it was proving to be a very difficult gesture. "I don't have to kiss your ring, do I?" she asked, with what seemed like honest sincerity, "Bein' the Hunter king and all?"

Will threw his head back and laughed with mirth. "Ha! Hunter King, am I? Heh, I only got this job for two reasons. Reason one, I'm good at killing things. And reason two..."

He smiled down at her and winked. "Reason two, nobody else was dumb enough to take the job. Nope, I'm no 'Hunter King', my ego isn't quite that large. I'm just your friendly neightborhood leader of an underground paramilitary militia dedicated to the eradication of supernatural forces beyond the comprehension of saner people than us. Like I said, nothing special."

His eyes were sparkling as he squeezed her shoulder lightly and spoke with a soft, kindly voice. "Thank you. In this business, laughter is precious and hard to come by. And in answer to your question, yes I dance. When you're surrounded by death, it helps when you can do something to remind yourself that you're still alive. So, shall we dance?"

Deidre laughed. "Hell yeah!" she exclaimed, forcibly pulling him onto the dance floor. Even drunk, she could quickly tell that the people dancing had made up their own groups, not wanting to mingle with the other dancing styles. In front of the DJ there was something of a mosh bashing around, but the largest group was in the middle, spilling out sometimes to influence the other groups. It was composed of those who liked to grind against each other, and seeing as that had never gone out of style, other dancers were never afraid to join in. Several people were standing off to the side, couples from the looks of it, waiting for a slow dance. Something of a rave setting was set up closest to the two of them, with a greater distribution of glowsticks to people than any of the other groups. Off in the far corner, Deidre could see some people having a dance-off, and though she'd normally jump at the occasion, she was still lucid enough to know that she wasn't stable enough for anything fancy.

The song booming over the speakers was loud and angry, spurring the mosh pit on. It wasn't something Deidre would normally be dancing to, but there was always room for new experiences. "I'll dance anywhere you want to," Deidre giggled, making what she felt was a cute face at William. It was. "Just...no breakdancing, please. Not today."

Cady walks into the place and cringes. He did not like the music they played here. But he walks to the abr and sits down and his eyes brighten when he sees brandy on the menu. He orders the drink, and waits. He was neither talkative nor friendly, besides everyone there was too young. It wasn't right people as young as these giving their lives to fighting things most people didn't know existed... he was always sad when he saw new soldiers, fresh from their mother's homes... then again. He was one of those once, except his mother's home was only ever a second home. His life had been the military since 11.

Skiaska took the key Will ahd given her and unlocked the employee entrance. Sighing in relief as it clicked, she went inside, locked it, and went down into Haven. I'm SO glad, I gave them the employee entrance area instead of the main entrance... This was her thought as she heard a few trucks pull up to drop of furniture and junk.

Nodding, and feeling his insides melt at the cute expression on her face, he guided her towards the center of the dance floor. Gently turning Dee around, he started to let the music and the rythym lead his body's actions as he teasingly bumped and brushed against her back. He never actually grinded against her, instead teasing her as all contact was fleetingly brief and feather light to the touch. He'd found that the promise of contact, the the cycle of brief points of touching and then having the physical contact removed only for the contact to be renewed shortly after that, was far more intoxicating at times than actual grinding. Letting his instincts take over, he nestled his face next to her neck, inhaling the scent of her hair, of her skin. His hands ran across the curves of her body, not actually touching but close enough to brush the invisible hairs on her exposed skin. He had to admit, that this felt good.

((OK, this is as Hunter, the NPC owner of Hunter's and the bartender.))

"Hunter" Wilson whistled as he cleaned out a shotglass and poured a hefty dose of brandy in it. Walking over to the newest Hunter, he placed it down on the bar in front of him with a sad smile. "'Ello, mate. I'm 'Hunter' Wilson, a retired Hunter and owner of this here place. I can see what you're thinking, 'cause I've thought it a million times before. It's so hard, seeing these kids doing dangerous work like this when they should be in school, getting a job, starting a family. Makes ya' feel old, doesn't it?"

She came into the bar from Haven, bright and alert thanks to a restful sleep, devoid, surprisingly, of nightmares and of dreams in general. She was thankful for that. She was none to fond of the paths her dreams where taking nowadays.

She stopped short, hearing something mentally. She tuned into it, covering her now white eyes, and was mildly surprised to discover that she was hearing William's thoughts. He sounded...agitated and upset. She saw him start dancing with the female hunter he had been talking to. Was she the cause of what she had heard? She had no idea, but she of all people knew how ignorant she was of the world outside the one the Labcoats had built. She decided she would ask William about it later and sat at the bar to watch the dancers.

As Krii'Ouce walked through Hunter's on his way to the Park, he saw William dancing with a new Hunter. He saw Lydia at the bar, and decided on another root beer.

Krii'Ouse walked up to the bar. 'Hey, Hunter, can I get anothe rbottle of root beer?' he asked. The bottle slid into his hand, and he turned to Lydia, opening the bottle on the skin of hir gith arm, similar to a bartender may. Only Hunter hadn't... *Oh well. He knows I like to do that.* he thought. 'Hey, I'm going to the Park for a stroll. Yes, I'm in Hunting gear, but that's because, last time I went there, I got attacked by a Lycan. Granted these aren't Silver weapons... but oh well. They'll do for now. I don't think Marcus is doen with my daisho.' he said. 'Have a good evening!' Krii'Ouse stood and headed out of Hunter's

It was at that time that Alex walked in.

He was angry. That was easy enough to tell. If anyone could see auras, they would see a firey red swirl of burning hate surounding him.

Without a word he ploped down at the bar. He slouched, his head almost touching the bar. Looking up, he took out a twenty from his wallet and placed it on the counter.

"I need some really good stuff. Something that will get me really, really drunk. Hell, just skip the watering down and give me some pure alcohol."

He was good, Deidre thought, giggling yet again. It was ever so slight, her giggles, but they came out with the liquor. It was a hand in hand deal - you didn't get one without the other. But he knew how to dance, and he wasn't just after rubbing his crotch all over her. That was such a turnoff...anyone who couldn't save antics like that for times actually reserved for it usually wasn't that great at it anyways. When you were dancing...it was a time for dancing.

There weren't nessecarily very bright lights, it was just that there was a lot of them, and like any good dance, the smell of human sweat hung on the air. Salty, but a part of any dance that they couldn't be without. Deidre felt William lean into her, taking her scent, and it was accompanied by another little giggle. She lifted up her arm, wrapping it around his neck as best she could, holding him there as they moved. Her other arm moved along his leg, brushing the actual fabric of his pants so he could feel it.

She could just turn around and start making out with him, but he didn't seem to be that sort of guy. Not from what she'd seen at least. She could test the waters at least, and there wasn't any need to think or plan that water-testing very hard - the alcohol took care of that. Deidre gave his butt a playful squeeze before lifting her hand up to join the other one, hanging from William's neck. She leaned her back against his chest, but nothing more, moving with the music. Now and then her hips would swivel and brush across his front, but the only constant contact happening occured to his chest.

Skiaska blinked a few times as she entered. Will was dancing... with a female hunter... And they looked ot be very... clingly. "Drunk... or at least close to it." She sighed and decided to work. She couldn't help but notice the brown haired man. Blinking another time, she smiled, remembering him a little. "Hey, your name is-" She paused, thinking.

Al? No... Oh yeah! "-Alex, right?" Looking at his sour face, Skiaska arched an eyebrow. Being tired, she realized it was her right she raised. Why would I notice something like that? Gah... "Why the sad and angry look?" Waving to Hunter and going behind the counter to get his order. "How about a Vodkian twist?"

The few years as a bartender came into play as she looked over their alcoholic inventory. The only other time she made the hard liquid was when she was young and stupid. Now that Skiaska was a little more clever, she was curious to what the effects would be.

((I have the mods permission to make up that drink. Yeah that's right! I made it up.))

"I just got fired... yep, fired. My boss went into a speech about how we had to 'downsize,' which is his way of saying he was giving his friend's brother's kid my position. I have worked at that company for a while now, pulled his a** through more then one fire, and this is how he repays me? He has no idea how to use a computer, for God's sake!"

Grabbing the drink, he took a swig. The dark liquid burned his throat, and he took too much at once. Well, that and he wasn't that much of a drinker. He began coughing roughtly. When he stopped thought, he didn't stop. He took another swig.
