Bleeding during sex can happen, but it can usually be avoided if you just do your homework first. Pain and bleeding during sex are usually due to lack of lubrication. So a water-based lubricant will usually solve that problem. If it does not, she needs to talk to her ob-gyn about it.

Of course. You can get any method of birth control without your parents.

Condoms and spermicides are available at most stores that have a health and beauty aisle. Never rely on spermicides alone though. They make an ok backup method, but they're not meant to be a main method of birth control.

Hormonal methods are generally more effective. If you can drive or get a reliable ride, you can get them from an ob-gyn. Try a clinic such as Planned Parenthood or Family Planning. You can go there even if you are underage, and you may qualify for free or low cost birth control. You'll also need to schedule a pap with the ob-gyn if you think you might become sexually active soon. You can visit www.plannedparenthood.org to search for a clinic near you.

thanks^^;
do most people start off with just condoms and spermicides?
and I'm kind of scared of doctors, so I dunno if I have the guts to go see one sweatdrop

The pill and condoms are probably the most commonly used methods, especially for younger people. The birth control pill paired with a condom will offer you great protection from both STDs and pregnancy if you use them both as intended.

Truly being ready for responsible sex means:

-seeing an ob-gyn
-having birth control that you know how to use (preferably two methods)
-knowing about pregnancy and fertility
-knowing about STDs
-having a plan in case of accidental pregnancy (no method of birth control is 100% effective)
-knowing about your body and lubrication

If you really don't feel you are ready to see an ob-gyn, you are probably not ready for sex quite yet. Seeing an ob-gyn is about getting reliable birth control and taking care of your body.

In addition to being able to give you hormonal birth control, the ob-gyn checks you for cervical cancer. HPV is a virus that can be sexually transmitted and can lead to cervical cancer. She will check you for other STDs too if you want. Having sex increases your chances of ripping, tearing, swelling, redness, urinary tract infections, and other non-sexually transmitted infections. Those are all things your ob-gyn can keep an eye out for. She can also give you a pregnancy test or Plan B if you ever have a birth control accident such as a condom that broke or a missed pill. You should also talk to your ob-gyn about all of your birth control choices. While many people go with the birth control pill, the pill isn't for everyone, and there are many other options. Your ob-gyn would tell you everything you need to know about each method and help you decide which is right for you.

In my opinion, seeing an ob-gyn is a lot less scary than it might seem. I preferred going to a clinic. Since all they deal with is reproductive health, they're often less crowded than a general doctor's office. That means you're less likely to get rushed in and out. Obviously, that will vary somewhat from place to place or doctor to doctor, but I was always very pleased with everyone at the Family Planning near my house.

If you go to Family Planning or Planned Parenthood, they will not let anyone find out you were there. If you go to a general doctor though, your parents might be able to find out if you're on their insurance.

I have a weird, embarassing, and frustrating problem. When I go to masturbate, it takes me pretty much ten seconds to c**. And well, I don't want my first time to be ten seconds long. What should I do? sweatdrop

Sex might be different from masturbation or oral sex, so you may last longer than 10 seconds during sex. But there are things you can do to try and last longer. 3nodding

When you're masturbating, when you feel yourself getting close, stop and trying to focus on something else. When the sensations or whatever die down a bit, then continue on. By bringing yourself close and then backing off, you're teaching yourself control and stamina.

i'm the same way, except when i mateubate i lasts about 5-10 minutes. but my girlfriend somehow with a cominations of oral and using her hand makes it last 20-30 minutes... the outcome (no pun intended) is always a hell of a lot better too.

Me and my boyfriend finally had sex . . . but it didn't last long. It's not that he came too soon, he didn't come at all . . . he lost his erection a few minutes in because he was so nervous. How do I help him relax so his erection lasts long enough to finish?
PostPosted: Fri Aug 15, 2008 3:11 pm

The only way that will happen is with time.

Im not saying become sexphiles or something like hat but the more you do it the more relaxed he will become.

Do lots of stimulation (oral or hand) first. Get totally in the mood. Perhaps you could go on top to take some pressure off him? He might be worried about hurting you. If he loses his erection again, you could always try stimulating him again. Kiss him and touch him a lot, so he knows everything's okay and feels comfortable.

Just a few thoughts.
