Solaris lux Kurosoru finally had made it. It was time to get his starter. He had been thinking long and hard about what choice he would make, and he decided he wanted to have a Torchic. He walked in and said "I sent in a request earlier. I'm the trainer from Laverage town. Can I have my Torchic now?" "Ah yes! I do recall recieving a phone call about a young trainer who would be arriving soon. That's quite a distance to travel! A Torchic would certainly suit a determined trainer such as yourself."  or  Torchic (male) Lv 5 HP-40 Attacks Peck-20 Growl-10 Kurosoru recieved Torchic! *Be sure to roll for it's personality!*

Cloud grinned as he entered the lab. It was a long walk from Rustboro, but worth it. "Hey!" He shouted, waving at the infamous Proffesor Birch. He ran up to him, panting because he'd run when he saw the 'One Mile Ahead' sign outside the village. "Can I have Mudkip please!" He shouted happily, unable to hold in his happiness.

Professor Birch turned to look at the young man who'd entered his lab. The poor kid must've been right behind him as he had just returned from a short field research expedition. "A Mudkip eh?" he asked, with a chuckle, as he walked to his desk. "We don't get many trainers asking for those, lately." he said with a sigh. The poor things didn't seem to be as popular as they used to be. Retrieving a Pokeball from the desk, he walked over to another and retrieved a few empty Pokeballs, some Potions and a PokeDex and PokeNav. Returning to the young man, he handed him the occupied Pokeball. "This one is your Mudkip." he said as he tapped the button on it, causing the ball to open and Mudkip to appear at the boy's side. "And these should be plenty to get you started on your journey." he said as he handed the boy the empty Pokeballs, Potions PokeDex and PokeNav, one by one. He offered an explanation of each item in case the boy didn't know how they worked, and smiled when he was done. "That should have you ready to start on out. " he remarked, signalling that the boy was free to go whenever he chose. Cloud cheered as he looked at his new Mudkip. "Dude! I actually have a Mudkip!!!" He shouted, picking the little Poke'mon up and flying him around like an airplane. It gave him a confused look and tilted its head to the side, probably wondering who this A.D.D. kid was. "Oh... Sorry." Cloud mumbled, now heading out the door with his new Mudkip. "I'm excited. It's great to meet you, Mudkip." He said, leaving the lab and heading toward the nearest area to train Poke'mon.

Dwight Entered the Lab in hope of getting a Torchic, but if not than he will try his best to work what hat he gets, he walks up to Professor Birch and stood there looking around a bit nervous. This was Dwight's first time ever being this close to a lab and poke'mon. Dwight still a bit nervous got the courage to stand up straight and look confident. "Hello Professor Birch, I'm here for my pokemon..." He said and than signed knowing he was able to get that much out.
"I would really like a Torchic if you have one, but if not than any of them will do, I just want a friend to talk to and understand me...and even help me get stronger..." Dwight said with a with a gentle smile on his face.

Professor Birch thought for a moment and walked near the back of his lab where he kept his pokeballs. "Torchic is pretty popular, but I'm pretty sure I have at least one left..." he muttered while looking at labels on different pokeballs. "Aha!" he exclaimed in triumph, returning to Dwight and placing the object in his hand. Event!Dwight has revieced: or Torchic (male) Lv 5 HP-40 Attacks Peck-20 Growl-10

Torchic (male) Lv 5 Bashful HP-40 Attacks Peck-20 Growl-10 [exp. 1/15] "Thank you Professor I will take good care of Torchic and make him my freind til the end of time..." Dwight said giving a gentle smile as he put the Poke'ball on his belt. "Oh I still need to check it's nature..." he said takign the poke'ball back out and releasing Torchic with a smile.

Torchic (male) Lv 5 Bashful HP-40 Attacks Peck-20 Growl-10 [exp. 2/15] Dwight bowed than remembered to asks the Professor a question. "Um do I get my Dex from you or in a different city or town..?" Dwight asked a bit confused as his Torchic looked at him and mimicked the way Dwight's facial expression was. He than began to loo around as he waited for the Professor to finish with the other trainer and than answer his question.
"What an interesting place this is.." Dwight said as he smiled and look at all around the lab with while Torchic looked about itself lightly peaking strange looking devices and other things.

Torchic (male) Lv 5 Bashful HP-40 Attacks Peck-20 Growl-10 [exp. 3/15] Dwight Smiled and took to items. "Okay, well I'm off!" he said as he ran out the door and his poke'mon followed close behind him as the two began their new adventure into the poke'mon world together. Dwight isn't the bravest or strongest, but he will try his best to be the best there is.

Henry entered the lab with high hopes of getting his own pokemon. His very own pokemon to explore the rest of the world with. Walking up to Professor Birch, he smiled as he spoke softly, intimated by the status of the man that stood in front of him. "C-c-can I please have a Torchic?"

Professor Birch, normally out doing field research, happened to be in his lab at the moment Henry entered. "Haha, of course you can, lad." the man replied with a boisterous laugh. "No reason to be so nervous. I won't bite." he told the boy with a large grin. "Give me just a moment and I'll be right back." he told the boy, gesturing with one finger to emphasize the statement. Walking to the back of his lab, the man retrieved a few items of interest. Namely a Pokeball containing a Torchic, several empty Pokéballs and some Potions as well as a Pokédex. All of these were transferred to Henry when the man returned, one at a time of course. "There's your Torchic. A Pokédex and some Potions and Pokéballs to get you started on your journey." the researcher informed the boy as he sorted through them. Once Henry had all of his items packed away and was prepared, he was free to leave any time he chose. Henry has received: or Torchic (male) Lv 5 HP-40 Attacks Peck-20 Growl-10 {{Choose whichever sprite you like. Oh, and if you want a Pokédex sprite, check the "I'm back" thread by miss Catonia. She's made sprites of multiple colors so you're sure to find one you like. There's also an event in the Events subforum that can offer you a free ride on some training for a few days.
