"It's quite alright," Mirror said with a laugh, raising up one of his hands to pad at the air as if to seat her back down,"It's a pleasure to meet you, Kyada, or may I call you Ky?" Suddenly a thought entered his mind and he slapped his gloved palm to his forehead, "Oh, I'm terribly sorry. You're hungry aren't you? Why don't you chat here with Zayn while I go and see if I can scavenge something up."
With a slight bow of his head and graceful arc of his arm, Mirror spun on his heel and dived back into the mass of people just outside the balcony pushing his way through to find the food tables...If any of them remained from the half-ogre's deadly assualt.

"It's very nice to meet you, Kyada. Are you alright now?" Zayn asked in a concerned tone as Mirror left to get some food. "It was worrying, the way you suddenly keeled over without warning."
It was rather suspect as well, he privately thought. If it had been heat or lack of food, there would have been more warning. One moment Kyada had been perfectly fine, the next on the floor. Perhaps it was the indication of a serious illness?
"I hope you will be alright for our respective journeys," he said, fluffing his feathers against the cool night air. "I wouldn't like to think of anyone collapsing out in the middle of no where..."

Trying to converse with Roan was like trying to get blood from a stone. It wasn't happening. She found it quite odd that this seemingly quiet person would travel along side Onion Knight. 'Onion must see something in him that I can't see right now...'. Her thoughts were interupted as Onion Knight went off to find his dancing tutor. She smiled as she watched him cross the dance floor, being careful to dodge the other "giants".
Once Onion and brought the woman over, she smiled and did a small curtsy. This was a mage after all, and she wanted to show respect, although she hadn't forgotten that it was Mages who started the forest fire in the first place. "Pleased to meet you Ferosa..." Masa just stood and smiled as Ferosa focused on her, then she laughed as Onion Knight commented on her dancing. "I very much doubt that..."
Masa turned back to Ferosa, nodding enthusiastically. "I feel very honoured to have a friend like Onion Knight..."

Slipping in and out of the clumps of brightly dressed bodies, Mirror flitted like a moth to the tables. He gave a sarcastic look at them, finding that at least two tables were lying 'bleeding' on the ground with wine and another one or two were attempting to keep themselves up from the fate of their companions. The Al Sylian didn't think twice about the miserable condition of the tables but rather began to scavenge for decent food that the Lady Ky would enjoy to help her stomach.
Crackers here...Some meat there...And a lone bread roll!
Mirror excitedly snatched the bread roll and placed it on a plate he had found on the table before him just seconds before. Fluttering his wings a bit as he scouted the remainder of the table, snatching up tidbits of this and that, Mirror completed the ensamble of the plate and squeezed his way back carefully through the crowd, balancing the plate with both hands and weaving it in front of him. Finally he ejected himself out from the crowd with a dive and roll, the plate still in hand, onto the balcony where he bowed and presented the plate to Ky.
"Here you are, M'lady Ky." Laughed Mirror in an overly outdone accent.

Such lovely eyes...and a more beautiful voice than he could have dreamed. Perhaps this evening would be fun after all, despite the party crashing beast...
Softly he took her hand and, once he had gently helped her out of her seat, escorted her to the dance floor. Merrick was quite an accomplished ballroom dancer; he'd had a tutor in the subject since he was nine. Smiling silkily beneath his mask, the dark-haired gentleman led Niva into a dance.

Having grown bored with her own decision and not being renowned for her attention span, Quinn gazed at the fellow party go-ers, for the moment forgetting Oura standing beside her. Scratching her head in confusion she muttered, "I wonder what we are all doing here?" And then louder, shouting to the room at general, "WHY ARE WE ALL HERE?"

Wincing at her friend's sudden decision to be loud and informal, Ourania clapped a hand over Quinn's face. "What are you doing?" she hissed, panic making her feel small and wild. Fiore was meeting the gazes of anyone whose attention had been drawn, smiling in apology while her familiar was licking the frosting off of a tray of cupcakes.

Niva smiled at the man, with a slight nod to her head, as she put her hands on his shoulders. She allowed him to lead into the dance, keeping that polite friendly smile all the way through as she followed along to the music, and Merrick. She was graceful, and soft on her feet, however, it would be obvious to Merrick that she had not had training in dancing, a lot of talent, perhaps, but no skill.

Roger swallowed, as his eyes passed over the crowd, and he forced down a bit of food. He didn't taste it, didn't much care. He had a panicked, frightened look about him, as he kept near the tables, occasionally sampling and nibbling food from one of the sets.
The man's hand reached into his pocket, fiddling with something there when he spotted a strange woman, In pants, and boots, and dressed much more like she was out for exploring, than in for a dance. A faint, wane smile came to his face, his eyes flashing from fearful and nervous, to relaxed, and tinged with a bit of regret.
He stood there, for some time, watching the woman Ferosa, his mind instead thinking of that woman, dressed much like she was, that had helped him weeks ago. He almost wished she was here, though he doubted it, she seemed to hate crowds almost as much as him.
The wine he had consumed started flowing through him, he leaned back, sliding down against the wall to a sitting position, the smile on his face remaining as he pulled something out of his pocket, and just held it in his lap, hidden from sight as he stared at it, turning it over time and time again.

Somehow the mysterious hostess had popped back into existance beside the fox, tray of buns included. The bright smile was still plastered to her lips and she glanced between both the fox and Nia for a few moments before a brief moment of realisation occured - she knew she'd forgotten to write something on the invites...
"Sincerist apologies!" She squeaked at last and held out the tray so that they might take a bun or three as some form of apology (although it was unnecessary), "The party is to celebrate the successful emergence of a number of Elysians besides, everyone likes a good party every now and then!" She announced.

//You can tell I haven't been RPing properly in a while. >.<
Tilting her hat briefly, Ferosa was in the process of formulating an answer when the white gloved hand clapped onto her shoulder and squeezed. The fingers began to compress upon the bone and for an instant a flash of pain entered the peculiar woman's face before it was replaced by an unreadable one - her jaw tightened and instead of replying to Masamune she calmly moved on of her hands towards that which lay on her shoulder.
"I was wondering when you would finally show your face." She purred quietly, flicking her wrist so the small dagger emerged and she was given the opportunity to fling it into the middle of the owners hand -
There was an abrupt shriek across the hall as it became apparent that the target had been hit, incapable of dodging the movement that she otherwise doubted that Ferosa would make. Nevertheless, the scarlet blood soon began to pour freely from the wound and even as Ferosa removed the dagger from within the woman's hand she showed little care for the staining now appearing upon her cloak.
For a while those who knew the woman simply remained silent, Ferosa slipping the dagger calmly back into her sleeve before swinging round to observe the one who had touched her...that person was none other than Dune and from the looking of things an new burst of hatred was rising up from the darkest parts of her heart, it was only a matter of time now.
"I told you to stay away from him!" Dune roared, shooting a glance towards Roan who simply cleared his throat and attempted to place his attentions elsewhere, after all; if he couldn't see them they weren't there and he would not have to deal with the humiliation.
"My dear girl, when have I ever done as I was told?" Ferosa jeered, folding her arms across her chest as she kept her gaze fixed upon the now wounded hand, "Ah, such a horrid way to treat such a nice dress." She mused, canting her head to the side at the staining appearing on the delicate silk...no doubt she would never get that out.
Dune however could only grit her teeth and bear the pain as Ferosa turned her back to her once more and instead glanced briefly at Onion Knight and then Masamune.
"Alas I apologise but I must for now attend to other business." She murmured somewhat omniously, "Until the next time we meet I hope you remain well." She added, glancing pointily at Onion Knight before disappearing into the crowd, the feather upon her plumed hat the only thing visible as she headed towards the steps that lay close to the summoning chambers.
"What did I tell you before?" Dune hissed, attempting to keep her voice hushed as she crept towards Roan and flung out her injured hand, "What did I tell you?" She snarled again, her eyes narrowing to mere slits as the man calmly took her hand in his and concentrated not on her words but intead, upon the glowing light now beginning to creep over the wound.
"Well?" She persisted, causing Onion Knight to flinch and edge towards Masamune.
"To avoid her." Roan replied quietly, withdrawing his hand when he had finished and grimacing, "But I -" He paused abruptly as he caught sight of the woman ascending the staircase, his entire body tensing as she stalked straight passed the band and into the Crystal Chambers, "Where is she going...?" He choked, Dune swinging round only to catch the flicker of blue material as the door slammed shut behind her.
"THE CRYSTALS!" She shrieked at the top of her lungs, "She's taking the crystals!"

[[i'm so sorry! gonk ]]
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Kyada, or may I call you Ky?"
"oh, umm...Ky is perfectly.." she started to say, until Mirror interrupted her rather bluntly.
"Oh, I'm terribly sorry. You're hungry aren't you? Why don't you chat here with Zayn while I go and see if I can scavenge something up."
"...fine." She sighed, smiling. She would have tried to tell him it was alright, that he needn't worry, but somehow she just didn't see him listening.
"It's very nice to meet you, Kyada. Are you alright now?" Zayn inquired, concern written all over his face.
"I'm still a bit woozy, but I believe some food will certainly help the matter." She nodded, as she placed a hand on her stomach.
"It was worrying, the way you suddenly keeled over without warning."
With a nervous laugh Ky nodded, "I suppose it would be. One minute someone's fine, and the next they're lying the floor generally sprawled out in the most unflattering of postions. I'm so very fortunate that Mirror was there. Yes, very fortunate." Ky wasn't about to explain to Zayn the embarrassing truth of the matter; that firstly, since her powers are still new to her they tend to cause havoc within her body, and secondly, that gazing upon the silver haired man had caused her to hold her breath and subsequently faint. Ky grimaced inwardly. [What a stupid woman I am...]
I hope you will be alright for our respective journeys...I wouldn't like to think of anyone collapsing out in the middle of no where..."
Ky's smile faded, "Oh I assure you, I shall be quite alright. In fact, I doubt I'm the one you need to worry about." It was true that his words had taken her by surprise, but she did not show it. [Respective journeys...Did you hear him Misa?] {Indeed, it is quite strange.} [Makes one wonder what really is going on around here.]
Ky was tending to Misa when Mirror returned. "Here you are, M'lady Ky."
Shocked at quickly he'd managed to find food Ky stuttered, "oh, yes..heh...thank you." Gently taking the plate from Mirror she gazed upon all that he'd found. "This is quite the feast. You've found so many wonderful things I hardly know where to begin." Eyeing the place like a ravenous wolf, Ky reached for the fluffiest, sweetest smelling roll, but not before Misa chimed in. {Now Ky let's remember our manners shall we. We're in good company now, not gorging amongst the wolves or bears.} Ky grit her teeth and calmly picked up the roll, bringing it slowly to her mouth.
-munch munch munch-
Ky continued this way for several minutes, doing her utmost to present the distinguished woman she Misa knew was in there, and everything was going well until a high pitched shriek came echoing out of the main hall. Ky halted her eating, and glanced at her companions. Surely they'd heard it too?! Not caring either way, Ky began stuffing what little food was left on her plate, into her mouth. When she was finished (a total time of 1.35 minutes) she washed it down with a big swig of wine, set the plate aside, grabbed her staff and headed for the balcony's secret door.
Flying down the stairs into the main hall, her heart beating wildly, Ky braced herself for what was to come.
"Crystals? What crystals?" Ky asked a man near her, but instead of answering her he turned and fled. "Well that was useful." Desperate to know what was going on, Ky searched the room for someone who would know.

And I apologize, Quinny can be a little... erm... obvious when she thinks something is amiss."
She froze when she heard someone scream, eyes widening. "What's going on...?" she questioned, feeling Fiore's immediate presence on her shoulder and Basape's less willing one at her ankle.

James smirked to himself, easily, smoothy, he positioned himself in the wake of Ferosa, stopping, his arms crossed as he glared at the yelling woman. He drew himself tall, letting his armor craft the illusion it was built with, "Now why don't you just calm down. You started this trouble, and well, you got what you deserve. Why don't you just go back, calm down, get a drink, and this party can resume," his cold, strong voice rang out, directed towards the bleeding Dune. "No more blood here. Respect this sacred ground."
