Leveling, and good karma!
Whee I finally leveled the night before last, I stayed up late since I was over 90% and I just had to do it. A couple more points for Mastery... so now my bowman is lvl 45. Another month and maybe I'll make it to 46! All you guys who used to be below me are passing me...
Met up with... I think it was Elanie. Got a free Sky Snowboard, whee thanks!
Since I had been fighing evil eyes for a while I did my Kerning PQ area offer of Stirge Wings and EE tails, and I always tell people to just give me whatever they want. Most of the people this time were nice. I still got 1 meso from somone, but I got a mix of other things from other people, from arrows to a bunch of monster drops and one person gave me a diamond ore 3nodding I also met a nice girl who felt bad for not being able to give me more for gettin 178 EE tails which I didn't mind, I wish I had room on my friends list for her. I also offered 9 leathers to someone for 400 mesos and they gave me 1k for being nice 3nodding
So I had some good karma going. Went back over to Perion to gather firewood and the 3rd stump I killed I found a Aqua Snowboard. Awesome! It was below average but I don't mind, I have one. So that's 2/4 Snowboards, I don't know if I'll get the rest or not. I usually don't get the higher level event items just cause I don't like to buy them.

MEOW!
I havn't had much playing time, finally got on today for a bit because I couldn't resist the pets anymore and I wanted to check out some of the new event and cash shop stuffs. Neither character has gotten much use. I was going to wait for more selection in pets, but I ended up succumbing to a brown kitty, and am much more amused than I thought (of course I got a meso magnet, whee useful!) His name is Mr Tumnus. I'm not too concerned about leveling him just to do tricks, though I'll work on it here and there. Its mostly amusing to have a little kitty following me. 3nodding

Updates are faboo! Welcome to lvl 46.
Whoo, I wasn't playing much for a while there but I've gotten back into things. The new updates yesturday were great! The guild has a Maple-side guild now, and there was a ton of new quests to do! The other improvements were great, I love the new subway layout, and the improvements to the questing system are fabulous! (I just don't like the new hand cursor thing.) I spent most of yesturday doing quests and getting some pretty good exp in the process 3nodding I'm sooooo happy that there's now some lower level capes you can get!! I can finally wear a cape though I havn't hit lvl 50 yet! I got the ratty cape and I finally finished off the Icarus cape today! I'm sooo happy, I got the #2 cape that gives +10 speed, sweet!! I think that's even better than the lvl 50 one. I think you can also get +10 avoid, +10 jump, +10 HP or +10 MP (gee, 2 of those are way better than the rest...) I hit it with a 100% DEX scroll for now, may try to pick up a 60% or 10% cape DEX scroll at some point. Its a pretty cape too 3nodding *happy happy*
Anyhow, after the server check last night it was nice and dead, and I got to lvl 46, huzzah! Its been a while since I got a level, I think I had started the day at 70% so that's a lot of leveling for me, I usually only get 10%.
Well other than my cat, I havn't bought anything in the cash shop for a while, and my pre-school clothes which I love are going to expire Feb 4th I think (wow been that long already.) So been browsing cash shop for new clothes, I got the cargo pants and a new shirt, debating if I'm going to rebuy the pilot goggle hat because I love it so. I'm also really eyeing the one female Lunar celebration outfit, with the hair bun things, its soo pretty... I didn't really want to spend that much on an outfit, but I'm really eyeing the package deal which is only available until Feb so I think I'm going to get it soon.
I still want them to relelase VIP hair coupons darnit! I really want that one Kerning pigtail style still crying I'm not willling to waste money on random tries though. Other than that, I'm really happy with everything on Maple and there's nothing else I desire. New pets and a new world would be cool, but I can wait for that. OH, my only other nitpick is I'd really like a different eye color. I like my face shape but I really don't like having pink eyes. Can that even be changed?
OMFG I love that my kitty can now pick up mesos AND items. I'm so lazy I rarely pick up my stuff myself anymore xd I think I got my closeness up to 180 so I'm getting close to lvl 9 sweatdrop

Questy fun!
I've done most of the Victoria quests that I can do, other than the hard ones. Still need more bloody pig heads for the one too... anyhow, headed over to Ossy to check out the quests there, geez about everything requires a bunch of solid horns so guess kitties is going to be crowded for a while. I'll probably try to gather those late night. Questing has been good for my exp though, I got 30% today which is really good for me, I'm usually doing good if I pull 10% 3nodding In one more level my Bow Mastery will be maxed! (Well at 19 anyway.) I also forgot to mention that I love that critical hits are now in red-pink color to signify them. Dang bowmen get them a lot, that rocks to see when I'm actually getting them now! Sometimes even though it isn't very high damage I still get a crit hit (I had assumed before only my high end damage was crits but that's not true), but generally about 1/3 of the shots I make are red and people are like 'wow why is it in red?' since I guess they're pretty rare for other classes.
Havn't worked on my mage at all in ages, I'll probably go back with her and do the quests as well once things die down a bit. I'm having too much fun with my bowman for right now, I'll switch back when I need a break. 3nodding
I'm debating about scrolling up one of those pet equips with the new pet speed scrolls... that would be so nice to be even more zippy... I'd only buy some if they're pretty reasonably priced though. I'd still have to buy an equip for my kitty from cash shop too and I don't have much NX points left. 117% speed is still a vast improvement over what I had and a I can feel it too. Now I just have to work on boosting my jump too, I don't have anything to add to that...
I'm glad now that is decently feasable for normal characters to have good speed and thieves aren't the only ones zipping around. Though damn mages with high teleport can sure move too. Been seeing more people around using 3rd job skills which has been interesting.
I ended up getting the Lunar Celebration outfit and I loooove it. I've also gotten several complements on it. Its kinda funky, when you have the whole set there's this little Chinese boy who continually dances above your head (of course some n00b was like OMG GM!!!). I would have liked it just as well without, but it is rather amusing. I havn't seen anyone else in this outfit either which is pretty cool. Heh, I shouldn't have even bothered getting the shirt and pants I did, but I'll probably wear those too at some point later.

With regards to the Crit color thing:
I lurve it, too. It's SO awesome to see the big giant numbers pop up. And yes, Bowmen get Crits. The only other class to get the spiffy Crit numbers are Assassins. 3nodding

Getting close again...
Got myself up to 87% the other night, I should be able to level as soon as I get a good chunk of time to play 3nodding Fwee! I also found my very first dark crystal ore from a golem, god I have crappy luck since everybody else seems to find them much more often. Need 9 more of the bloody things for a star rock... I'd kind of like to finish Manji's quest but you need so many hard expensive items for it, I've still never found a glass slipper and the last one I got gave a fairy wing, so I have no piece of ice, and of course the chances of me getting an ancient scroll anytime soon are about nil... so all I have towards it is the flaming feather so for now it seems like more expense than its worth. I finished off most of the other new quests for now other than the ones I consider too much of a pain to bother with right now, like the Flourina Beach 2 and the one for the bazillions of jr. pepe fish.
Nothing else particularly interesting to report. I should try to sell off some more of the extra finds in my inventory but I'm kinda lazy about it... maybe I'll just do another NPC splurge unless they're significantly above average, which they're generally not. Nobody seems interested in Emerald earrings, and the Blue Moon ones from the quest are pretty easy to get so no point in trying to sell those really, I also found a lvl 40 Dark thief hat but forgot to check if the stats are decent.

LEVEL UP x3!
Whoo, massive level up! My hunter is now lvl 47 and her Bow Mastery is at 19 so I can worry about other skills now. She's pretty cool stuff now. Got on my mage for a while today and have been working on quests with her, she leveled up to 28 and I got the purple fairy set from the store for her in anticipation of her job advancement since she had ghetto clothes up until now. Also ended up PQing for a while and got up to 60% so shouldn't take much to get those last 2 levels to lvl 30! This was my first experience as party leader, it just kinda happened, I don't have AC or anyting but we managed to get in 3 times on a fairly empty channel. First time was bloody opal ores, but next two times were black crystal and gold so I was pleased about that. Only earrings I'm missing are lightning...
And Mr Tumus leveled up to lvl 10 so now he talks! heart So cute. Plus he has a couple new commands. So that was really cool!
Not much to speak of for finds lately, I've been getting mostly real low level equips since I've been fighting stuff for quests. I hope I can made a decent sum on that 60% Dagger scroll I got from one of the quests though, but I hate trying to sell stuff in-game. Gosh knows I need it! I kind of want to get my mage in the guild too so its not so lonely when I'm playing on her, but I only have about 550k total in savings so that'd make me pratically poor again. And it seems like everybody in the guild is lvl 40+ anyhow...

The Magic of Healing!
Havn't spent much time on my bowman, but been working on my mage! Yay she reached lvl 30 finally and got her advancement as a Cleric! The one point went into Heal of course. First time around I died with 2 dark marbles left to go which was rather stupid and embarassing, because it was easy but I was just too slow hitting the potion button as I made my way back to the top of the tree... ah well. I did a LOT of PQing for a bit, its been fun I'm going to miss it though it remains a pain to get in, I'd been going mostly late night like after 2am and early afternoon before 1pmish. Now that the weekend is here probably won't be able to. I wanted to at least get another go in before I hit lvl 31 so maybe I'll train until I'm really close and then PQ for the last bit, I'm at a bit over 50% right now. People love me in PQ since I can heal even though it isn't that good 3nodding I was fortunate and got in a couple decent groups though we still had the one low level n00b player a couple times who didn't have a clue but hey we all have to learn sometimes. Nothing much to speak of in terms of PQ rewards, I did get some gold ores and traded someone yellow squares for a pair of gold rings, but still didn't get lightning ones. Most of the ores weren't a big deal, however I did get 100 blue pots once which isn't shabby for a mage.
I'm really loving being a Cleric already though its going to be a bit before I'm any good, I'm at the hard part once again- lots of fun new skills but gotta get points in em for them to be any good! I'm sure it will be at least 5 more levels before I begin to be useful, and a cleric by themself isn't all that strong in killing things so it'll take some time. I do look forward to being able to go around and heal people though, I really like doing stuff like that. Soon I won't need HP pots except for emergencies 3nodding I'm going to focus on Heal and put a bit in Holy Arrow and Teleport and maybe a couple other things here and there to try them out.
I hope its true about clerics making good mesos and she can start making her own money soon, cause technically my bowman paid for most of her stuff so she's in debt to her and I want her to be able to contribute to my bowman in the future.
I went ahead and made a fairy wand though it'll be a bit until I need it, I'll keep using my Wizard Staff up until then since it has above average magic atk.
I ended up getting a tail bow for Mr Tumnus, and thanks to several nice people 2/3 of the 60% pet scrolls worked so he now gives a +4 speed bonus heart Its kinda disturbing when he does 'cutie'.

Aww, they took away the chocolate!
I think most people abused the heck out of the Valentine's event... it was pretty sweet getting exp and fame for almost no work, plus an item so you don't lose exp when you die once. I'm sad all the chocolate suddenly vanished tonight crying
Anyway, been working like a fiend (for me) on my Cleric, she got to lvl 32 and 43% before the patch hit. I really ought to get a Black Amoria Top soon, I'd like to get my paws on an above-average one if possible but I'm pretty low on fundage so hopefully they're cheap. I just hate trying to go out and price check and buy stuff ^_^; I need to liquidate a bit more of my extra inventory too... Still enjoying my Cleric a lot and try to hook up with warriors and such to heal for a bit of extra exp and training help but nothing else to really report, havn't gotten interesting drops in a while. Being a Cleric does get you friends pretty easily. After working on my bowman so long, it still feels like its not that hard to get a level on my mage since I can still do it in 2 days if I try but my bowman still takes 5+ days. I'm sure after a couple more levels I'll start to slow down and maybe go back to my bowman a bit. The only exp she's gotten lately is from the chocolate quest sweatdrop
I'd also like to add I'm rather disappointed with this patch if all they're doing is adding another server. Phoo. Its not like Windia had that much traffic. Here's hoping for a better patch next time.
If anyone needs a refined Topaz, Emerald or Opal please take them off my hands!

I actually havn't really played much in the last several days again, just been busy with other things and not really into it when I've actually been home. My friends (who I did try to get into MS but didn't really care for it so didn't really get much past lvl 10) are trying to get me into playing a group on City of Heros with them so that may be my main MMORPG for a bit depending how well I like it. So anyhow probably going through another period of not being on much but I still won't be giving up MS. I also refuse to be sucked into WoW or Guild Wars.

iOggy Oh, come on. The Dark Side isn't so bad. We have cookies! Mmm, cookies... Yeah I did get sucked into City of Heros, I have a 2 week free trial to abuse then I'll see if I have the money to continue to play. Sooo much character customization... wow. I already have 4-5 characters just because half the fun is designing them. I like how the game has a lot of choices so its very rare to see really similar characters.

Still been playing a lot of City of Heros, though I hear Ludi is out so I'm going to have to check it out at some point. My free trial ends in a couple days and I'm going to be out of town for the rest of the week, but I'll eventually get back on MS for a bit. CoH rather has me in its thrall right now though, I like the system and have been having fun, I have 2 characters up to lvl 10 and 4 others of varying lower levels that I still have fun with. I'm on Victory if anyone else plays.

Heyyyy... guess who logged into MS??
LOL. Its been a while. I actually tried to go back into the game a couple months ago, but my old version was too old to patch and I couldn't get it to work, when I uninstalled and reinstalled fresh the stupid Gameguard wouldn't let me connect, so it'd just close again sweatdrop But finally I downloaded an even newer version and it worked!
I cancelled City of Heroes several months back since my friends stopped playing (got up to over lvl 40 with a character, and several others into their late 20s), and was sucked over to WoW by a friend with a trial, and have been on that a couple months but I'm already getting a little frusterated with some of the tediousness and long travel times. My highest character there is only about lvl 25.
I still have my crap-tastic computer, which is part of why I get frusterated with any MMOs with half-decent graphics, I get shitty lag a lot which often results in my death even on lower settings.
So going back to MS is me kind of coming full circle and taking a break from my other MMOs. God I feel out of touch with MS, I still havn't gone to check out Ludi, and there's more new quests, plus it looks like they added a small section of skills for noobs? I am kinda dreading having to catch up with the market prices on things and get new equips, but I know my characters didn't have the money for it anyhow. Heh, I hate to think how far ahead of me you all are now.
I hopped on my Cleric, HoshiKitsune, to try to accustomize myself to the game again before doing harder stuff with my Bowman. I feel like a klutz sweatdrop I'm not near as fast as I used to be with jumping around and hittig keys. She's 90% to 33 though, so it'll be cool to break into a new level (heh, now I remember the hours of grinding just to get 10%.)
Wow does the Cash Shop ever have a lot of cool items now. I'm not putting any more money into it until I'm sure I'll play consistantly again. Bye bye all my pretty items that expired! Bye bye Mr Tumnus, cat of awesomeness crying
It feels so weird to go back to a game that was once so familiar and have it feel so alien. I'd probably feel the same if I went back to City of Heroes at this point too.
