faeriebell I can't believe I missed it, but I did. gonk I read a synopsis at tv.com and it sounded like a really flippin good episode. I really hope they play a rerun. So Chase.. kissed the girl? Chase is a weirdo.. he's got so many eccentricities. xP I hope I get to see this episode one day.. grr. Makes me laugh: House: Differential diagnosis. On your marks, get set… Dr. Foreman: Hallucinations could be caused by… House: Whoa! Wait for it. And…go. (Edit) Lol. It'll be on again...though, it took until the season was over to play season 1 reruns. xp You can always download it. surprised

My first reactions to tonight's show, whited out for those further West:
1. OMGWTF stupid baseball. *gonk*
2. I bet all the LJ icon makers are going to use that "Huh?" face. All of them.
3. Wilson deficiency. We did get to see the Incredible Magical Dis/Appearing Balcony again though.
4. House speaks Spanish. How much more cool can they fit into this character?
5. From the way my House-Watching Buddies and I reacted to the part where they amputate Alfredo's hand...none of us are going to medical school. Ewwww.

Dx That sucks.. they're taking Bones off too crying
I was happy this episode focused on Cuddy, many of you may already know she's my personal favorite -- I just love her character.
We got to see her house and her manic jogging patterns. I was like "Run woman run! "
Her feelings of guilt and admission that she hasn't been a real doctor for years makes her softer, she has been a wall of authority and it's good to humanize her character a little bit. She was still feeling guilty too.. I loved the last scene with the dripping ceiling and her worrying over her thoughts.
It was awesome how House pulled the I don't speak Spanish for the whole show then bam.. caught ya! He is teh coolness.
Ugh the amputation was bad tonight.. and if you watched Bones before House you got two full hours of some pretty gory imagery. neutral
I was missing Wilson this episode too.. he was only in a few small scenes. wah.
The race questions brought up in this episode are interesting.. further House/Foreman disagreement.. can't we all just get along? heh.
Did House call Chase his lap dog?? LOL

Not whitetext because there's no spoilers here. ...yes, he did call Chase that. XD I can hear the slash fans now... faeriebell .. and if you watched Bones before House you got two full hours of some pretty gory imagery. neutral "House" is the only show I watch regularly now. ^_^ I don't have a TV in my dorm room, so I have to go to other peoples' rooms or a lounge. I love my House-watching buddies, but they're all in love with Dr. Wilson, so sometimes it's hard to listen to the TV when they're squeeing over Wilson having screentime. *__* And now for something off topic: http://dark-waltz.with-daylight.net/house/displayimage.php?album=20&pos=355What is that thing in the background, some sort of vise? I think that's House's house (that sounds weird); I didn't see that episode.

Bah I can't believe I missed this Thread! Silly me.
Anyway, reactions to the episode on Tuesday...
1) Cuddy, even more annoying to me than before. She could see Alfredo was in distress and yet pushed him to work anyway because of her dinner party or something. (But I loved the scene at the end where she had to put a pot under the leaking area anyway! Hahaha! Serves her right!)
2) Chase, cute as always... and agreeing with House?! That made me laugh, especially the scene where he gets called a loyal lapdog. That made the list of favorite House-Isms.
3) The little monologue House had at the end of the episode with Cuddy. He was TOO out of character for me. I was sitting there like "What?!" If I were him I would have given her the old one two punch and let her deal with the guilt she deserved! Oh well... maybe we're seeing a little break in House? Wait.. no.. that would be BAD. Very BAD if he goes soft.
4) Lovely scenes with the hand amputation. I'm a medical geek (not by choice I assure you all) and I believe they did a wonderful job with that. Showing the blood vessils and the intense emotions that come with having to lose a hand/limb. I thought it accurate and well played out by everyone involved.
5) The breaking into Cuddy's house scene. Priceless! That was an easy way for House to make forty bucks off the ducklings! Their expressions after that were simply.. priceless! I seem to be using that word a lot...
6) The Chase/House scene where he's riffling through her underwear. "Oh my god, there are pictures of you in here, just you! It's like some secret cult shrine!" "You're kidding!" "Yep." xd
7) House only popped Vicodin once.. was I the only one to notice that? Usually he does it at least three or four times... sometimes more if the cases are really annoying... (or if Stacy comes in.. grr).
And that's it! Sorry for the long-ness of the post... had a lot to say about this one! Whee! rofl

Cuddy is annoying to you? wah, I love her. But to each their own!
I thought the last scene (and many other scenes in the episode) showed that Cuddy felt guilty for pushing him.
Cuddy and House have history, which is why I think House broke character a little in that speech.. that's my pro Cuddy perspective. wink
I agree the amputation scenes were very well done. It was very touching when he was laying in bed looking at the bandage.
Interesting point about Houses lack of vicodin popping. I didn't catch that.

I'm going to be okay without new House for a while. I finally got the DVDs (-kicks Amazon for malfunctioning grossly-) so I can watch those. It's going to take a while because the only time I'm allowed to watch more is when my sister and mom are here and available. They hate for me to watch without them. So roughly I will be good until new episodes start. Still though, season two has been good so far. I am glad that they are not over-using Sela Ward and making me vomit. Where is this sexual tension they spake of? So far she has just been kind of... here.

I've never hated Baseball until now.
Second week with out House.
My feelings on the last episode shown was supreme greatness, however, did they really have to sue the hospital??
He shouldnt of worked around dead chickens!
Ugh... humans xp
anyway, I wonder what else House can speak.
we also learned a little history of House and Cuddy, and that cuddy where's pink/red undies lol!
