Pouting as his hair was ruffled Mei nodded before sneaking up behind Mako, as he had yet to notice his presence, and covered his eyes with his hands. "Guess whooooo?" Mei tried not to giggle, it was a lame game to play but he couldn't help it. Looking over at Luca and Than Mei winced, oh that didn't look good at all, he wondered how this had started.

Mako squeaked slightly as his eyes were covered, knowing immediately who it was. "Love! Fashionably late, eh?" he chuckled, turning around and slipping an arm over Mei's shoulders. "Yeah, I guess I shouldn't worry, those boys are...well, certainly a sturdier breed. I just don't want Lucavi to act up and cause trouble...looks like Than started that, though, heh!"
Lucavi stumbled back a bit, completely taken off guard by the silly string. What the hell?? Some of it got into his mouth, and he immediately began spitting it out - disgusting! Growling a bit under his breath, he fixed his eyes back on Than, although it was harder to see him through all of the colorful mess flying everywhere. Of course, he didn't mind getting messy in the least bit - it was being decked out in such festive colors that pissed him off. Lunging forward, he chased Than back towards the bathroom where he had come from.

Malachite checked to make sure Macyn wasn't sneaking off anywhere before explaining the situation to Aponi -- just loud enough for Mei to hear, too. "It's kinda funny," he said. "Than gave the other boy a napkin to wipe his face, and the boy tried to give it back after he used it. Than walked away, and the other kid wasn't too pleased. Than gave him another one, after wiping away a little smutz on his face. The other boy scratched his arm on purpose and dabbed blood on Than's nose. Just now, Than, Soco, and Hana came back from the restroom, and now here we are. We'll just hang back and see what happens."
At that moment, Lucavi chose to give chase. Adrian helped shove innocent bystanders out of the doorway, and he and Hana grabbed a hold of Lucavi after Than darted past. "Now, now, no running with sharp objects," the guardian reprimanded. The two of them carefully removed said sharp objects from the boy's fingers, even as he struggled, and Soco handed him a can of silly string in consolation.
"There," Adrian said, letting the boy go.
Than had stopped and watched the process from just behind the stair rail, near the dojo door. Now that Lucavi had been freed, he held his cans of silly string up, ready to dash down the hallway.

Chuckling softly Mei nodded, "yeah, but I signed the guestbook" Mei grinned, pleased with his entry and side notes. Kissing Mako quickly on the lips Mei smiled, "so been having fun?" he asked. Taking a moment to listen to Adrian's explanation Mei couldn't help but burst out laughing, "so THIS is what happens when Lucavi goes out in public, he gets attacked by silly string" the boy snickered. This was gonna be fun to watch.

"So, Than didn't want the boy's messy napkin and now they're mortal enemies?" Aponi laughed, finding it al ltoo amusing. "That little guy sure is headstrong, isn't he?" He said, watching as Lucavi chased after Than, spitting silly string as he did so.
'Well, there's reason to attack-- a mouth full of silly strring."

Mako watched nervously as they restrained Lucavi, thinking to himself how he needed them at his house to do that whenever the boy tried to dash off to wherever the hell he always went.
"Oooh?" Mako tilted his head, noting the tone of Mei's voice and wondering just quite what this meant... "Well, the guest book is there for signing...yeah, it's been pretty amusing, so far, as you can tell" he chuckles, kissing back quickly.
Getting rather annoyed, Luca simply dropped the rest of his instruments while they tried to remove them. They were more for intimidation...at least...in more social atmospheres. He wasn't going to disembowel this kid during the middle of the party, even he had enough common social sense to figure that people wouldn't like that.
Once free, he looked at the can of silly string with a scoff - were they trying to insult him? But he took it anyways and gave chase, charging down the hallway after Than, not letting any flow of silly string impede him.

"Mm, something like that." Malachite smiled. "I think it's more of the other boy's not wanting to look like an idiot in front of so many people." He almost thought that Lucavi was doing a good job of it, but he wasn't about to say that outloud while the boy was still within earshot. "Oh, yes, silly string tastes awful."
Than took off down the hallway, and around the corner to the right. And then he took another right, peeking around to see if Luca was still on his tail or not. He sprayed a little string, anyway, amused with the whole ordeal. How delightful, this sticky, colorful stringy stuff! He'd have to ask Adrian to send some back to GD's mansion for the other boys to play with.
Kaleb, still standing in the music corner with the pinata, sighed. His games had been overshadowed by two preteen brats running about and making fools of themselves. Figures.
He pulled out a few cans of silly string from behind the stereo and handed them to the girls. "Here," he said, "you can either play with them now, or wait until later. Just try not to squirt yourselves in the eye."

Lucavi chased Than around one corner before stopping as the boy rounded the second. Turning around, he headed back the other way, planning to catch the boy off guard from behind - either that or he'd run straight into him, but either way worked for him, as long as he caught the brat. Running back around one corner, he charged around 2 more corners before slowing down. Seeing as he'd not run into the boy yet, he figured that he'd have to stalk his prey.
Eyeing the pinata, Mako made his way over, chuckling - he couldn't let the pinata go to waste! "I'll just pull one for Lucavi" he said, smiling at Kaleb and tugging at a ribbon.

Macyn stood akwardly to the side, he wanted to go sit again. Seeing everyone talking and paired up he took the opertunity to sneek over to the stairs and sit, feel more comfortable he relaxed. Just watching the people around him.

Seeing Lucavi's adoptive parent pulling a ribbon form the silly little pinata, Aponi figured he should do the same-- he loved sweets, and even though it seemed shildish, he adored little trinkets and toys that fell out of most pinatas.
"Shall we?" He asked Mal, grinning, as he approached the pinata and pulled a ribbon from it's center.

Kiki resisted the urge to squee as she was given her can. She'd seen the other two boys spray it at each other. It looked fun. But, there was the dragon to attend to. Kilayla smiled up at it and reached for a ribbon.

Sauda looked most gleeful to hear that this was a pinata game--then gave a startled squeak at the silly string. "They look sort of scary..." She said to Kiki, giggling. Her attention was diverted when Kaleb gave her a can of her own, eyes lighting up. "Thank you!" She had never played with silly string before, but it looked like tons of fun! Even though those boys looked sort of scary.
Holding her breath as Kiki drew her ribbon, the other girl was quick to follow, giving her ribbon an almost hesitant tug--and staring at the pretty guy who was almost as pretty as Malachite. Were all men this pretty? Why wasn't she a boy, darn it all...

Kiki watched Sauda pull her string and sighed in disappointment when it didn't...explode or something. That was what was supposed to happen, right? She shook her head, and her silly string can. "I don't think they look scary at all," she said, wistfully. "You know, the one with the long hair kind of reminds me of this girl I saw in a movie once. She was -- she was really pretty."
Kilayla stopped talking and pressed her lips together. Shortly, she grinned, and upcapped her can, spraying it experimentally...all over Sauda. "Oops!" she cried. She really hadn't meant to do it. But, it was funny, and she could help but laugh and laugh at the other little girl, who now had bright green string in her hair, on her shoulder, and quiet possibly in one ear.

Somehow Than had snuck out the backdoor, and went around the house to the side-door through the kitchen. He made his way back into the dining room and saw that Kaleb had given out cans of silly string to the girls. It made Than smile a little.
Keeping an eye on the dining room door, he went over to the pinata to pull on e of the ribbons and hopefully keep Kaleb happy.
"Just a sec," Mal replied to Aponi as the other went to the pinata. Mal went over and offered his hand to Macyn. He could've just taken it and dragged him off, again, but he decided to allow the boy a choice, this time. "Wanna come see the pinata?"
"Ya welcome," Kaleb said to Sauda. He caught her staring at him, but said nothing, turning away to fiddle with the stereo. He found a CD in the mix that was of... mariachi band music. And clearly it was marked: "Property of A. V. Karlet."
"I will never understand that man," Kaleb murmured. He shook his head, but popped the CD inside the player.

Sauda eyed her ribbon critically, then looked back up at the dragon. "Guess I didn't get it." Oh well. "Hm? A movie? Well..." She looked at him yet again, her green gaze thoughtful and more perceptive now. "...You're right." Sauda said firmly, giving a little nod. "He does sorta look like a movie star...actress...whatever. And they only look scary because that other kid looks pretty mad..." She giggled though, apparently amused. And then she was squirted with silly string.
Sauda squealed in surprise, then burst out laughing, one hand coming up to pull at the brightly colored stuff that was now entangled in her hair and around one ear. "Heeey!" She deftly popped the top off of her cap as well, playfully aiming at Kiki's shoulders before letting the string fly. Hers was a neon blue color, which stood out vividly as it draped itself over the other little gril.

Tsunake caught sight of Mei, lips pulling back in a rather wicked grin. Silently, she weaved through the party-goers, positioning herself perfectly behind the other boy. Then she attacked, both hands pinching lightly at him, drumming against his ribs with the full intent of tickling him. "Can't even come say hi to me, eh?"
