Tsubaki pouted slightly as the other detatched himself from the boy. "Hai, hai, sensei," he said, striding out of the room before he paused, looking back. "I'll guess lunch is in the same place as yesterday?"
**
Kon looked up from his seat on a small blanket in the grass. Travelers... and loud ones... Today was his day off from work and he was using the time to take a little picnic. The people were kicking up a lot of dust, as well, and he sneezed rather loudly as they passed, the violence of the convulsion almost sending him sprawling.

Ryuho nodded smirking. "Marta should have your lunch ready and she is downstairs waiting for you in the bar. Lock the house when you enter the bar. I will come get you when it's over. Have fun with Marta." Ryuho waved Tsubaki off and closed the door to the office.

He turned to ask how to lock the door with no key only to find that Ryuho had shut the door behind him. He frowned and knocked. "Seeeenseeeei... How can I lock a door when I don't have a key?"

Ryoho turned at a sharp right angle from the beaten path and bent at the hips to blink at the sneezing thing. "Master, master, look about you: who goes there, ha? Act I, scene II, the Taming of the Shrew, Bill Shakespeare." Said he mechanically, staring down the small boy a moment before turning his odd posture into a bow. "Hello, fair maiden, who might you be?" His eyes wandered a bit wolfishly to Kon's beautiful food. Might we add Ryoho had not seen food in quite a few days. Jho had let his ADDesque friend wander ahead of him, and now picked up his pace. "Ry what are you doing." He muttered, then blinked as the dust cleared and revealed a frail little thing on the grass. "Uh... mmhh.... hi..." Jho slowly turned to look at Kon funny. Ms. Wilder, his third grade teacher, was the first of many to notice Jho's strange shyness around new people in the comments box of his progress report.

Ryuho popped open the door laughing at Tsubaki. "Just turn the lock with your hand and then leave and close the door, and it's locked. Lock it from the inside while the door is open." Ryuho turned to see Marta in the hall. "WHat are you doing in here, no employees in my house without permission. You know that." Marta bowed her head in apology. "I'm sorry, Rai-san. I got worried when Tsubaki didn't come downstairs right away. It will never happen again." Ryuho nodded. "Go with her, Marta lock the door on your way out, I will join you when I'm done."

"Kon... Kon isn't a woman," he said, his voice and expression full of confusion. Hoe could they mistake Kon for a woman? Even if Kon was small, he was... flat. And his hair was short. And he... Kon did not look like a woman!! Or, at least, he hoped he didn't. He looked over at the other arrival - apparently the red-head's companion - and smiled a little sheepishly and muttering something about how deffinately not a woman Kon was.
**
((neh, Syd... did Ryuho tell Marta who Tsu is? because Tsu said his name was Aoi.)) "Right," he said, pouting slightly at the other's tone. How was he to know that? The doors he was aquanted with were quite happy to come aquiped with keys or had spells that had to be used. He frown as he followed the woman, reaching that room he had eaten in before. There was food set - too much, he thought, for two people, even if Ryuho were exceptionaly ravinous. He began to eat, slowly though, mainly just picking at his food. He wasn't feeling too hungry and he was a little grumpy.

((yeah, thats why Ryuho trusted to leave Tsu with her))
Marta sat down next to Tsubaki, but spaced herself out from him as not to cause him discomfort. "So, Tsu-bochan, are you enjoying Rai-san's game? He can be weird at times, but he said he hoped you would have fun...he...has a lot planned."
((bochan=a name similar, to chan except it means 'young master'))

Tsubaki shrugged. "It's not too different from the old days, I suppose..." He eyes the woman for a moment before he spoke again. "Did Ryuho tell you...?" he asked. He had forgotten to put his cap back on, although the majority of his markings were hidden, but his eye was quite obvious, as well as the face markings that would most definately nothing any tattoo artist could render quite so well.

Jho coughed. "Uhh. Kon not a woman. Right." He rolled his good eye carefully to Ryoho, hoping he would pick up on some sort of body language. For once. And he did!... In the. Entirely wrong. Way. Ryoho looked up, grinned right at Jho, and... ducked his head to squint back at the small thing. Jho grimaced very lightly, pulling a battered pack of cigarettes from his pocket. He occupied himself with lung cancer a few paces away while the other pestered the stranger. "Your name is Kon, is it?" Ryoho cocked his head. "Without prodding you into asking for my name, I am Ryoho Et Cetera, Everything Extraordinaire. ..." He straightened and peered at Jho, whispering loudly enough for the next few towns over to hear. "What do you think this thing... does, exactly?"

"Kon is not a thing," he said in an offended tone. If he had had his ears, they would have been angled back to the extreme, a clear sign of his displeasure. "Kon is Kon." He couldn't beleive it. That man - the weirdo red-head - seemed to find Kon weird. Maybe he needed to get in touch with himself.

"He told me you're real name and that you are an old friend. But I wouldn't know if he told me anything more. I'm not from here. I was lost and alone, three months ago Rai-san found me, gave me some starting cash, and a job. Now I help him run the bar. I thought he was doing the same with you, but it seems your special to him. Rai-san is cold, but he has a soft spot sometimes, I've never seen him behave the way he has when he is around you." Marta sat up a little straighter trying to make herself look a little taller. She was barely 5'2" and it showed next to Tsubaki. She pushed more food next to Tsubaki. Ryuho was making his way into the lounge where Tsubaki and Marta were. He sat down next to Marta and nodded at Tsubaki. "We're on a break right now, so our little game will have be put on hold for a while. I know how much you were enjoying it right?" Ryuho asked raising an eyebrow.

Tsubaki shrugged. He didn't exactly care what game they played, as long as it proved interesting and had rewards. The woman's words had left an impression on him, but he didn't show it outwardly, prefuring to keep any revelations or thoughts on the inside.

"I have some people coming see me, so I don't know if I will be able to stay with you for the rest of the day Tsu-chan. I'll be in my office with the people for a while so you'll have to entertain yourself." Ryuho's face was a bit cold and he wasn't really looking at Tusbaki. He had already taken his portion of the food and had begun eating, thought not in a hurried manner.

"Right... I'll... be visiting Ella today, anyway." Ella... that had been his nickname for his fiance, Ellian, before they had grown too old for nicknames and children's games... Once again, Ryuho's face appeared as a mask of coldness, one that Tsubaki could esily match. He had barely touched his food, but was finished already. He sighed, sitting back and closing his eyes breifly before they opened again, one bright and lively, the other cold and dead.

Two hooded men had made their way into the lounge their faces couldn't be seen, but one's head turned in Tsubaki's direction. "That's him!" He said pointing at Tsubaki. Ryuho quickly jumped up pushing both of them towards the kitchen. "No it's not. Come, we have much to talk about. It's just a friend of mine who was here to visit, but he's leaving now." Ryuho didn't turn back to look at Tsubaki as he led the men up the stairs.
Ryuho had closed the door to his office, but it pushed open slightly leaving a crack in it. "Please gentlman have a seat." Ryuho said sitting back behind his desk.
