The middle-aged man says to the stranger before him, "I have to get out of here. I don't belong here. Something's wrong."
He then takes off again, running as fast as he can.

Hariel, just like with Alaric and Micheal, takes the man in an iron grip. When he tried to run, Hariel flips him onto his back, and holds him there.
"You know what, I could have told you that," he says, "but when someone shows up, then another shows up to kill him, I'd like to know what's going on."

"I..." The middle-aged man searches for the right words. "It's hard to say. I don't think I know myself. Someone took my memories from me. I was fighting, and then...fire. I don't know for sure. Something's really wrong."

"You're telling me," Hariel says, "But until you talk to Lady Kaylyn Hyrosha, you're not going anywhere."
He stands up, offering he hand to the stranger, "I would rather you walked with me."

The middle-aged man, realizing that the stranger has already brought him down once, stands and looks down. He says, "Take me where you will, then."

Hariel gives the stranger a friendly smile.
"I am Hariel, ally of the Wildcats," he says, "and don't feel bad, I don't know many that I didn't take down at least once."
He heads back towards the camp.

Saberstryke feels the white orb pulse in his hand, calling to its owner. He says to Kaylyn, "Here they come. This is all quite the mystery indeed..."

Hariel waves as they approach the camp. Kaylyn sees the two, one with grass-stains, and shakes her head.
"Hariel, what did you do?" she says.
"What? Why is it always my fault?!" Hariel says.
"Because it usually is," Kaylyn smiles.
Hariel goes to speak, then snaps his mouth shut. Kaylyn turns to the stranger.
"Welcome to the Wildcats," she says, "I am Kaylyn Hyrosha."

"I...would like to be able to tell you who I am," the middle-aged man says, "Except I don't remember."
Saberstryke says, "You are Batrias of Holy. Forget you that much?"
"I suppose I have," the middle-aged replies. "Except I can't say why, if I did."

"If you bear an armor, and come from another time and place, the overload of power will take our your memory for a short time," Kaylyn says, "it is not uncommon for amesia to hit an armor warrior after a power overload. Can you tell me what you do remember?"

"There was a portal, and fire," Batrias muses, "There was more than one person I was fighting. Um...a lot of...lightning, I think."
"You were trying to destroy the world," Saberstryke puts in.

Kaylyn glances at Saberstryke, "Hush, if he can't remember, no use in saying it. You will have your turn to speak."
She looks back at Batrias, "fire, like an attack? From an armor of somekind?"

"I would remember if I had my power again," the middle-aged man says. "Someone took it from me, and my memories went with it. I can't remember, I don't know..."
Saberstryke holds the orb of Holy out.
"Yes, that might be it. But it's cracked. How was it damaged?" The middle-aged man asks of no one.

Kaylyn shakes her head, "We don't know. You may reclaim it if you wish. I too bear an armor, so if something happens, I will deal with it."
Hariel goes to speak again, but Kaylyn's gaze makes him swollow his words.

"You may not reclaim your armor," Saberstryke says, "And though I have assisted you all so far, I will fight anyone who tries to hand this to him. He must not have it. I have said already that his armor is inbalanced. You might think of it as insane. It no longer functions in the normal way."
"You will not return my memories to me?" Batrias asks.
Saberstryke says sharply, "No, I will not."
